They built two patio covers in our yard, and I love to prance around under both of them every chance I get. It's like having my very own royal pup palace! The Landerking crew was so exciting to watch - I sat and supervised (with lots of tail wagging) as they worked, and they did a fantastic job from start to finish. Now I have the perfect place for strutting, relaxing, and keeping cool on hot days. I can strut my stuff proudly in the shade, then flop down for a nap without worrying about the sun. The craftsmanship is so impressive that even a dog can tell it's amazing - every beam and post is sturdy and beautiful (and trust me, I sniffed them all!). My humans are super happy with our new patio covers, which makes me happy too (because that means more belly rubs and treats for me - yay!). My tail hasn't stopped wagging since the project was finished. All in all, this is one tail-wagging, pawsitively awesome upgrade to our home. Two paws up for Landerking Woodworking - I'd give them five stars (and five bones ) if I could! Highly recommended for all pups and their humans looking to make their backyard a doggy paradise. Go fetch Landerking Woodworking for your next project - you'll be wagging your tail with joy just like me!

BE CAREFUL AT THE START!…read more After an initial phone call Jamie suggested I hire him just for an initial consulting visit instead of the free estimate appointment. He came out, walked the yard for 20 minutes, took no measurements or pictures and requested the $150 fee before departing. He said he would be providing feedback via email in a few days so I paid the fee. The email he sent 2 weeks later (after much prodding) was simply an estimate of the cost to hire him to design and perform the work. The email had zero ideas listed nor any information on a plan for us to consider. As it turns out, he disguised a free appointment fee as a consulting fee. Our assumption is that he A. Never took the time to consider ideas during the 2 weeks we waited and B. assumed we were just moving forward with him so the initial consult was unnecessary. When challenged on it he simply said he doesn't give refunds nor could he justify the fee with evidence that any consulting took place.

I was so excited when I found this business online... it appears they can do it all…read more I suggested them to my 80 year old Mom who has a tiny backyard and was looking to have a small patio cover built along with a paver patio and possibly some landscaping ideas. Again, her backyard is very small @ 20 x 40'. LandArc charged $125 for an initial visit. I do see another review here on Yelp where they refer to a free estimate... So after meeting with the guy, my Mom was told that he would get her an estimate in about a week. She was looking forward to seeing some plan ideas as well as getting a cost estimate for work and materials. But when she got the "estimate", it was actually an estimate FOR a final estimate. It was a detailed write up of all the trips to her house he was going to need to make and all the planning he would need to do in order to CREATE the plans and estimate... and that alone was estimated at $5,000!!!!! That's right, this DID NOT include ANY of the cost for materials or work... the $5,000 was ONLY to work up the plan and the estimate for the project. Apparently the $125 was simply for him to stop by the house the first time. We were all stunned, and obviously will not be EVER using LandArc, as she can easily get a lot of what she was looking for from the $5,000 they needed just to come up with a plan. I'm not sure if he was trying to take advantage of the situation or if he didn't want this "small" job (so created a ridiculous proposal). If it was the latter, he should've determined this over the phone via yard size. Really REALLY lame!!!!!
