The staff is very helpful in discussing our needs and helping us find the right products, providing interior design guidance as needed. We keep coming back because of the high quality and unique items we find there. Every time we browse the showroom floor, we find treasures that we just can't pass up. We desire a distinctly southwestern style, and D'Amore has had just what we need, every time. We have been frequenting D'Amore Interiors since they were located on the I-70 Frontage on the West side of Denver. I guess that must be close to two decades! When they moved to their current location, we found them promptly, as we needed some leather dining room chairs! The barstools were on clearance so I had to search for the last one. I called every At Home store, and eventually connected with a woman named Julia in the Olathe, KS store. She was amazing. So helpful, so full of helpful information and so polite and professional. Customer service is so poor in so many areas of our lives these days. It was wonderful to connect with someone who really put forth the effort to be pleasant and helpful. Thank you Julia (I sure hope I got the name correct!!) you are such an asset to the industry. I hope you are appreciated by this organization.

I did find the "Let's Flamingle" door mat, which will vastly irritate my pun-loathing friends. They didn't have the "Go Away" door mat. Or the one that says, "I hope you brought wine." Ah well. I found a couple more flamingo things, but discovered to my surprise that they do not carry slipcovers. This strikes me as odd for such a gigantic store. It was difficult to find anyone to help me, but when I did, he was very helpful. Almost everything I bought was summer stuff on clearance. A lot of summer and garden stuff is NOT on clearance. Also weird, as I write this in early November. I didn't really need two adorable garden gnomes, but I wanted them. Alas, not on clearance, and neither was the large grey resin alligator. I probably would have bought it at $40, but definitely not at $80. Silly impulses can only go so far. $80 is too far for me. Hangers are well priced, will go back and get them another time. It's always the ugliest patio cushions that go on sale. Oh well. Some patio umbrellas are on clearance, others are not. Also weird. Maybe some patterns are temporary and others permanent stock.

I called and scheduled an appointment for the owner - Sarah - to come out to my house and see the spaces I needed light fixtures for and offer suggestions. The service was $100 but that is a credit towards your purchase and then you get 10% off your order as a design client. What a deal! We ended up getting new island pendants, dining room chandelier, and living room chandelier. I love them all! I loved Sarah (so nice and friendly and worked around my taste) but most of all I love how painless the whole process was. My husband and I cannot make a decision for the life of us but Sarah has collected such a great set of fixtures at her store that the decisions were easy and now both of us are happy with our selections. She also offered to come back with some of the ones we liked so that we could see them in the space which was so helpful for indecisive people like us! Lastly, they delivered them to our house when they came in. The service was phenomenal! Beyond the light service - it is just a delight to stop in and look around the store because there are so many fun things to look at. Also, it is just amazing at Christmas time. I bought this adorable santa shaped dish towel last year that is now my favorite Christmas decoration.
