Large store still the same tiny aisles with no room to share; please fix! Store had a much different layout than most other stores. A lot of the same items jammed onto shelves made it hard to pickup without fearing something will break. Didn't find what I looking for but that's ok. read more

Imported schlock from China? Sure and lots of it. But for certain items it can't be best. Lamps and rugs are a strong suit. It's like a Wayfair where you can see the goods. Plenty of kitchen and bath gadgets, curtains and sheets. Fashionable furniture that looks like it's designed to last five years. It's pretty chic given the lower price points. read more

My boyfriend got an apartment & gave me nearly free reign to decorate it - you can see where this is going. This store was spacious with tons of smaller items but also had a really nice selection of larger furniture too. We almost bought him a small leather love seat there, but two girls wouldn't get off of it for us to make sure it was comfy enough so we did end up passing on it. We found plenty of kitchen items, some pillows, a lamp, & I'm still trying to talk him into this pretty, small bistro style table they had for his balcony. Tons of options & a great selection & you better believe I'll be dragging him back there. read more

Their selection is great! This store sells everything from hand blown Mexican glassware to bedding to kids toys, something for everyone, they even sell candy, dog dishes, beds and my 1/2 brother bought a new Ferrari mountain bike at this location, he bought the Ferrari bike for $499 and sold it on eBay for over $2k. Don't expect to make that much money of course, that's a rare occurrence, but the values are great here! I have bought dish sets, pillows, lamps and then go back for more every week on average, we flip houses all over the area and use this store to help us with staging them. This is the type of place you really need to visit religiously, things change by the day, so if you go Monday morning, by Tuesday you will see many new items. read more

Homegoods is one of those stores that you could get lost in for hours. They have all sorts of gadgets, furniture, paintings, decor items and more for your house. You have to be careful with what you buy at Homegoods. Some of the prices are fantastic; others are ridiculous. I have found that the best Homegoods deals are in the kitchen and organizing areas. On my previous trip I purchased a new cookie sheet and a set of small drawer organizers for cheap. I also looked at an extremely overpriced dog "couch" bed and some expensive (although cool) small furniture like buffets and tables. Homegoods is definitely a fun store to look in and get ideas for your home. Just watch your prices and you will have fun with this store. read more

I love to go to homegoods not just when I need to get something for my place but just to browse around the store, they literally have everything you need to decorate your home or apartment at a lower price than other stores, I love that they keep up with the latest trends, so if mirrored furniture is what's trending at the moment you can find many options at a lower price at home goods but they have many styles classic, edgy, nautical( since we are in FL lol) I really like the dale mabry location in Tampa but the one in St. Pete is great also.The store is divided like areas of the home ( bathroom, living room, kitchen etc...) they also have some imported food items like olive oil and pasta. They have a great return policy with a receipt and usually the people that work there are pretty helpful and friendly. read more

I'm OBSESSED with this HomeGoods!!! I collect Buddhas and this location always has so many of them to choose from. Small, large, new, distressed, whatever I need they have. My wife and I frequently shop here for seasonal holidays as they have the best selections for incredibly low prices. For Fall we grabbed a hand blown glass pumpkin, we later went to Pier One and fond the same item for more than twice the price. The kitchen aisles are packed with deals and great finds. Glassware, Cutlery, Plates, Pots, Pans they got them all, and the brands you're looking for. The Staff is pleasant and always welling to help with whatever you need. read more

My FAVORITE store ever, no joke! Wonderful return policy, great customer service, great value, amazing product, and wonderful selection! They took my returns even though I lost my receipt, just asked for my ID card and gave me a gift card with even my name written on it! What a clever idea! Now nobody can take my store credit! And the nice cashier doing my return was so kind, smiling the whole time, very friendly, chatted a bit, amazing! I then filled a shopping cart with plenty of stuff that I needed, this place is AWESOME! NEVER a single bad location! Great deals, NEVER seen a single bad deal! Homegoods is one of my go-to places for gifts. You never know what you'll find when you walk in, and likely you won't find it anywhere else. It's impossible not to find something for you, or for someone else, as you wonder the aisles. They have everything from kitchen accessories to office supplies, to huge area rugs and single pieces of nice furniture. I love their pet aisle, and the huge selection of pet beds. I also love to look at all of the artwork, but sometimes it's hard to see it all with the way it is setup. I'm a little paranoid about breaking things, so I often skip flipping through the huge art that is stacked on top of each other. I wish there was a better way to look through it all. Be sure to check out the clearance sections, especially after the holidays. You can find some super cheap stuff to put in storage for next year! This Homegoods shares a plaza with a Panera, Japanese takeout, and a craft store. Grab some lunch and make an afternoon out of it! There's pretty much no way you can walk out empty handed. read more

My husband got me a beautiful bouquet of flowers for Valentines day, but as it turned out, I did not have a proper vase for them. The nice one I had, I borrowed/stole from my mom and it went back to the rightful owner a while ago. I walked in the store with the goal in mind. To get a beautiful vase. I looked at several there and then chose the one I liked. $15! Bam!!! Curious fact, one is drawn to "looking" at other things while there, since neat items are in abundance. I found with a tooth brush holder and a matching soap dish that matched perfectly with my bathroom. I practically had to run past the mirrors and tables on my way to register or I would've definitely ended up with more items... The cashier was very nice and friendly at the counter. Dangerous. Simply dangerous. You will enter Home Goods in search of one item, maybe a handful of items, but you'll leave with bags on bags of goods you just didn't even know you would "need" until you saw them. I, personally have become a candle collector. They have so many cute things for your home, so maybe you won't always find the exact item you intended on getting, but you'll find something else- guaranteed!! They have tons of cool picture frames, bed sheets and pillows, fake plants, dog treats, kitchen appliances, and much much more! There are a few times I find something and there's minor damage to it, so there's where the loss of star comes from. I'd actually just take off half a star but that's not an option! Parking was alright here, the parking lot was pretty full up but I found a spot towards the back. Exercise, it's good for ya. Prices are fair. It's always a total win when you find a clearance item. Love this store!!!!! Good prices, quality merchandise and what I love the most is you can find the most unusual items. HomeGoods has EVERYTHING!!! I read a couple reviews above about "standing in line"... well that just goes to show you how popular the store is!!! They have 5 cashiers (booths/lanes) and I've never been in there when there's no less than 4 cashiers working up front. The line to the check-out may make look long but the cashiers are quick, very efficient and knowledgeable. If the store is crowded that means a lot of people shop there. When you go into HomeGoods plan on spending at least 30 to 45 minutes. They have so much merchandise to look at, it's truly amazing the quality and selection of furnishings they offer. In the aftermath of my bad Homegoods experience, I contacted their corporate customer service, and they proved to be very helpful. They got the whole mess sorted out. Only 3 stars because I shouldn't have had to go to those extremes, but it's nice to know that they are with it enough to be concerned about customer experience and perception. I'm told they had a chat with the very unhelpful fellow who was heading up the store on my previous unsatisfying visit, because providing good customer service was one of their major initiatives this year. Today I visit the st pete homegoods looking for a nighstand. There was only one of each of the two that I was interested in. I called the clearwater homegoods and they told me they had one of them in stock. So i purchase the one in st pete and went to buy the other one at clearwater. The one in clearwater was $50 cheaper so I was happy. I return to the one in st pete to ask them for a price match. The manager told me that he could not reduce the price. He was very rude! I told him that the items are the same and even brought them both to him so that he could see it. He did not care! Super bad customer service! read more

I think the reviews on here are hilarious..you don't want/buy 'cheap/shoddy' goods..but you shop at Homegoods..oxymoronic statement if ever there was one. Made in Indonesia, made in Vietnam, made in China et al. I think it's safe to say that furniture + decorative items made in these countries are not exactly going to be high quality. Of course items are cheap, when workers are paid a couple of dollars an hour or just cents per/item then profits are still huge. These are not discounted to the public..they were never expensive to begin with..buyer beware. As for the Tyrone Sq store..they've always been rude!! read more

I was at the Tyrone location today and asked a lady at the register to hold on to an item for two minutes. Her response was that she couldn't do that! When I asked her why, she stared to get an attitude and did not have a good answer. Her name is Byrd and she is very rude and not a people person. I was disgusted and disappointed since I shop at Home Goods very often. They really need to train that person on how to work around customers. Very disappointing! read more
