When I found the Treehouse gallery I was in awe. This place has such cool, handcrafted furniture and artwork for your home. They do a bit of rearranging and get new pieces in. I went once, and then a couple months later and was surprised by the new inventory and rearrangement. It was great! The furniture and artwork are unique, and the refreshments are a nice touch. We were welcomed in very nicely but after that one of the staff ladies with short hair followed us around and stood very close to us and simply stared, which made us too uncomfortable to purchase what we liked, focus on what they had there, or to even come back. We aren't sure if it was due to us having our service dog in our arms, or being a same sex couple, or assumed we didn't have money, we do not know why. We even tried to make conversation with her because she was following us so close, standing and staring at us. Her energy matched the employees in the shopping scene in Pretty Woman movie. Super awkward the entire time there, so we just left. read more

We discovered Tree House Gallery on a trip to Mazarro's Market. The store immediately spoke to us. The vibrant colors, blend of Mexican, Indonesian, and Indian fabrics, furnishings, and art appealed to our Bohemian tastes. We bought a couple signature pieces for our home. Then we moved into a much larger house. Rather than a couple of signature pieces, Treehouse Gallery became our go to home decor store. As a result, we have a home full of furniture that we don't see anywhere else! It perfectly reflects our tastes. Couldn't ask for better customer service or decorating ideas! read more

We had a coffee table custom made. We weren't exactly sure what we wanted it to look like, but knew we'd know when they got it right. They were so patient with us, and it's the centerpiece of our house now. It's fun to spend the day exploring their large shop and indulging in free wine and beer, but rest assured the pieces you see will stick in your mind, and you'll eventually end up splurging! This is probably the most impressive furniture store around. They make the furniture on site using salvaged Mexican wood. If you like a Mexican boho look, you will be in heaven. Prepare to pay for it. The coffee table we want is almost $2k. Very solid, unique craftsmanship. If you just want to look, you could spend a few hours here. This is a nice store and they always have unique items. We used to have a Spanish house and we came here to furnish some of the rooms. If you like Spanish and Mediterranean pieces or art and furniture than this is a must stop, some of the prices are quite high. We no longer have a Spanish style home, so most of what they sell would not fit our theme, but I still buy pieces and hold them aside just in case we move to another Spanish house. We have a spare bedroom filled with pieces from this store just in case LoL. My favorite pieces are now the reclaimed boat wood tables and chairs, they are extremely pricey, made to last a lifetime, but certainly out of most peoples price ranges, I bought 3 pieces of boat wood furniture from this store and have them in storage because they don't fit in my house. Many years ago we bought a massive fountain here and had it brought to our former house, it was a show stopper piece in the front yard. They sell everything from giclee paintings, world globes, dining room tables, unique lights, reclaimed wood art, etc. You can easily throw down $10k on just 3 or 4 pieces from this store if you have expensive taste which is why I have to be very careful shopping here. read more

What a treat to the senses this eclectic store is! There is so much to see! Treehouse is the next best thing to shopping in Mexico for unique furnishings and decor. I have been visiting Treehouse for years! The owner and staff are so friendly and helpful. Not to mention generous-providing drinks and Mexican food, on the house, quite often for patrons. Mmmm the aroma and taste of Mexican food while one shops and chats. They are also socially responsible as they promote collections for specific needy causes. I find their business persona quite generous. Recently, I purchased a trellis which I inadvertently ran over in my driveway. It needed some spot welding. I called for a reference. Their local fellow repaired my trellis right away. Much to my surprise there was "No charge. That's how we role," I was told. It left me speechless. I think Treehouse exemplifies a true local, community business that cares about and serves their customers! If you have never visited, I highly recommend a stop for a unique experience. read more

Fun store....thought it was only Mexican type furniture but was surprised to see wall hangings with Florida themes. Just purchased an awesome piece by an artist in the Keys who is painting on crab traps. The piece seems to be a map of Florida overlaid with either turtles, octopuses (yes, that is the correct plural for octopus), pelicans, etc. Very affordable and unique.
