Extremely messy. You know when you tell your kids to clean their rooms and they just throw stuff together on a shelf quickly in no type of order just to say they did it? This is the same thing they do here. Books piled up on top of one another, aisles extremely cramped with shelves overflowing from a an abyss of junk. The furniture was just kinda pushed tightly to the side. The chair I was interested in had a bleach stain and they still wanted regular price. I have a small dog and wanted to look at dog beds but they were all clustered and buckling and jutting out from the shelf you wouldn't even walk down the aisle without getting swallowed up by the disarray. There is a slight odor in this store as well. Sweet and musky is what it reminds me of. I wouldn't stop by this location if I were you. Drive further out! read more

First time at this location! The store hours changed due to COVID-19 . They close at 7PM vs 9:30 PM At this time they're restocking the shelves. Some of the shelves are completely bare. A lot of nice decor for your home or office. Long lines but moving quickly. Social distancing is strictly enforced. Staff is required to wear masks and gloves. Most customers had on masks you would think everyone did but not so. Overall interior of the store was clean. Staff were putting out new merchandise as we shopped. Boxes were placed out the aisles. My wife and I went into the store in Conyers this morning at 9:30 to look at a plant stand that held 6 pots for $249 my wife has wanted since last week when she first saw it. We ordered our groceries from BJ's and were on our way to pick them up but wanted to load this planter box first. When we walked in there was a creative motorcycle wet bar right up front, had real tires on it and a glass holder for glasses and racks for wine bottles or bourbon bottles along with a "desk" top, I work from home and am redoing my office and shoot videos and my wife thought this would be cool. I agreed and looked it over, noticing the headlight was cracked and had a big hole in it. I looked around to talk to someone and saw a man by the register who turned out to be the manager. I ask if he could help me, and he walked over, I said this was cool looking for the money but the headlight was cracked, and pointed to it, putting my finger into the crack to show him. He said I see it, just a minute and walked off. I told my wife and she started looking around, some 10 minutes went by and he didn't come back. I turned to the counter nearby and ask the lady at the register to call the manager, she said she just did. Another 5 minutes goes by and he doesn't come back, I ask another lady walking by to call the manager and she went to the counter then turned to me and said the girl just called him. After a few more minutes I walked to the back of the store and coming around an end cap was the same manager talking to an employee. I waited until he was done and as he started walking off in the other direction I said "weren't you helping me up front" he said "you told me some light was broken", I said "I thought you were going to see if it could be discounted", he said "no, you just told me it was broken", feeling a little frustrated I said "I wouldn't pay 1k for a broken item" and he said, "I'm not asking you to buy it." I was taken aback by the comment and replied "why would I pay 1k for something broken, without a discount" he said, "I'm not asking you to buy it." I walked up front where my wife was, told her what the manager said and she turned around to leave I said "don't not buy the planter because of what he said to me", we paid the $250, loaded the planter with 6 pots (no help offered by the clerk). Then left. My wife called the HomeGoods store in Snellville and asked if they had the same motorcycle bar card, they did, and my wife ask if it had any damage, the clerk put us on hold, came back a few minutes later, and said the headlight was cracked in the back, my wife asks if we could get a discount and she said, without pause, "yes, I'll discount it 10%". We ask her to hold it for us, and we went home, unloaded the planter stand and 6 pots, then drove to Snellville, when we got there the item had a hold note on it with our name. The same lady on the phone helped us, gave us the discount, then had someone bring the item to our car and helped load it into our car. To me, the manager at the Conyers store wasn't interested in me, my interest in the 1k item (not a cheap purchase on top of the $250 we were spending), or in making a sale. His behavior and interaction felt dismissive, uninterested, and like he couldn't care one way or another if we bought anything or not. In comparison the manager in Snellville's (some 50 minutes from where we were) was not only interested, she went out of her way to answer our questions, marked the item on hold when we got there, quickly served us, showed us she gave us the discount and had someone help load it in our car. Located in the same plaza as Best Buy and The Fresh Market, this location is very well stocked! I was truly impressed by how well stocked and neat and organized this place is. It's very clean, but the they just opened so I wouldn't expect any thing less. I didn't actually buy anything so I can't review the employees or checkout. But I wanted to check it out anyway. I'll be back for sure and I hope they will be as well stocked as they are now. read more

The junkstore of Homegoods is in Snellville. I shop at a lot of different Homegoods because I have family spread out across the metro Atlanta area. This store is messy and unorganized. It seems like the entire store is the clearance isle. I went to the one in Cumming, GA earlier today and bought a basket. I decided to go to the one in Snellville because it is close to my home to see if they had one in a different color like I saw in Cumming. I could only find a few baskets even similar, plus they were in a few different locations. The Snellville store does not have nearly the cool things that the Cumming store has and this store makes you feel like you are in some hoarders closet. Just a train wreck in comparison. read more

Best homegoods, hands down. The children's toy section is bananas. Had me wanting to decorate the time out corner with rewards and gifts! The candle section will take all your money, and they even have a large selection of gemstone decor for those of you who are witchy like me! And don't get me started on the snacks and kitchen items. I absolutely love this store! I come here at least once a week to see what they have. I'm obsessed! They have everything for your home you can think of. They have really nice chairs and tables btw. I recently purchased two throw pillows for the couch. The only downside is that they never know what they're getting on their trucks so if you need more than 1 of something and they don't have it, they can't find it for you. But even with that said I give this place a 5 star. read more

I've not been in the store for several months and went back today to shop for some decorations. I was very disappointed how messy and disorganized the store has become. I've recently started redecorating my home and was so excited that Home Goods came to Snellville, I LOVE, LOVE this store! They have had everything I've needed and wanted and more to accessorize my home and I love the fact that when customers walk in the store, you are immediately greeted and welcomed and there has always been someone to ask questions about certain items, and there's always been an employee that has offered to take my larger items out to my car for me. I truly feel they appreciate my business and the employees are always so friendly and helpful. I rarely go anywhere else to shop because Home Good's has always had everything I've needed or wanted and then some. I am so happy to have Home Good's in our city of Snellville. Thank you Home Goods!
