I am surprised that they chose to carry their old listing and their old reviews instead of creating an entirely new listing. This is not the same store because the previous store had a poor selection and I did not find the items to be quality items. The current store has a great selection of sofas, chairs, bedroom furniture, dining sets and more. It is clearly a different store, and I don't know if it's new management, new supplier, higher standards or what but this is definitely an improvement. Some of their brands included England, Bernhardt and Lazy- boy. I loved that the fabric chairs were also available in rich and supple leathers that offered cool colors such as teal, orange, red and nice neutrals as well. We were actually very impressed. They have a nice selection of modern and traditional furniture so a little of something for every décor. We were free to browse without disruption but did find several available employees when we had questions. *** Remember, this is the "new" High Point, so check them out!

Long story, but after ordering the chairs, the next day I discovered and was told that the price tag on the floor models are not the correct price. Had a lengthy discussion with my sales lady and was told the prices are what the buyer paid when the products are originally acquired. I asked why they don't just mark them up if the price changes. I was told that would discourage customers from buying. Bait and switch? Of course it is! I was so disappointed in such shady business practices, I cancelled my order immediately. Buyer beware!

As a single mom it is very expensive for me to replace a refrigerator full of food. They have had to take my 2nd fridge in to work on it and try to fix it. If you are looking for storage pieces, this would be your guy. In addition to interesting chests, and dressers, he also had tables, chairs, and unique antique items. I actually found a sideboard that was interesting however, I needed it to be twice as large. It was in good condition but I knew that I would be settling if I purchased it. I am trying to consolidate a lot of items so I need a monster storage chest that is about 60 inches long and 4 feet tall. Yes, I could purchase this rare item new but it would cost $800- $1200. I saw one a few days ago for $1200 but the material was listed as "other". Really? I am not paying that amount of money for spit and glue, I need a quality built item that will last foreva! That is why I love antiques because there is no guessing. I have friends who prefer modern design and that's fine but what is that comprised of? Modern design is great for aesthetics but I need substance. If I purchase something I love, I want to be able to keep it for as long as possible. I know wood, I grew up with wood, I recognize wood and I trust wood. Everything else is just fairy dust! I was really impressed with the items that Hamrick's was showing at the festival but I would really want to visit the store because most vendors are not going to bring those "mammoth" pieces to their shows because they are just too large and heavy. This store is all about big bold pieces that make a statement. It is the type of store one would visit if decorating an estate. Some of the items are rather tasteful while others will remind you of Bollywood or Vegas. Many of the pieces remind me of Middle Eastern Decor and will set you back a penny. They had a full sized butler with tray for $800. A simple chest with three drawers will set you back approximately $1700 and prices go up from there. This store also holds auctions so that you can bid on various items for sale. The good news: looking is free!

Everyone has different tastes and there are a few pieces which would add some variety to your house for sure. The furniture is quite expensive - they do have auctions, but you would still end up investing a lot. The paintings run around $100-$250 plus in the auctions - there were mostly oil paintings available. Unfortunately, we weren't able to find something for our mate, but it was a fun visit and a totally different experience.
