While I'm not a plant owner really- my mother is, and when she wanted to come here I brought her…read moreand I'm so glad I did. This place is every plant lovers dream, it's like walking into the rainforest, they have plants galore and even some adorable animals! They have 2 birds and koi fish and it fits the setting so beautifully. Let me start off by saying it looks like this is a mill with quite a few places inside of it, so they have a pretty good parking area. When you walk into you are kindly greeted, we met Adam who was a peach! There actually were quite a few employees, always around and willing to help, because plant galore is an understatement. Every plant is labeled and you can tell WELL taken care of. Adam and another gentlemen were watering the plants while we were there and you could tell, everything here is done in a very particular and careful way- I love that. When I say TONS of plants of all kinds I mean it. While my mother has a green thumb, and I just don't have plants because my cats will eat anything- I learned after the fact their website shows names and pictures of plants they have that are pet-friendly, so I want to indeed go back and grab some. This place you can get easily be in for a while especially if you look at everything. They also have pots and things of that nature and little trinkets and stuff. They also have a little area to grab Honey related drinks called The Hive Bar I wrote a review on this business. Feel free to check it out they're awesome and an amazing touch for this place. I 100% say go check this place out. Any questions, just ask an employee they're all so kind and know their stuff. Adam had all the answers we needed. Oh and I was shocked the prices were extremely reasonable, my mom left with a really cool plant- and I plan on bringing her again soon.

I love that they have a coffee shop inside now too and do fun pop up events. There is ample parking too. No shade on Jordan's Jungle because I know it's a shared building, I just wish the landlord would take better care of the entry ramp, it's not the best and needs a lot of TLC!

In the middle of Broadway, there is a house covered in greenery…read more If this were a world of magic, you might assume this was the home of the local herbalist--a place where you'd knock on the door looking for some mysterious remedy made from roots and leaves. And yet, there actually is something a little magical happening here. I've always loved the idea of having plants in my home. The problem is that buying one usually comes with a sudden avalanche of questions: Where am I going to put this? Is this the right pot? How much do I water it? Does it need direct sunlight? Is this even the right plant for me? Am I just paying $30 to slowly murder this thing? Those questions have honestly kept me from buying plants for years. Then, on a whim, my wife and I walked through the door here. I fully expected to leave with a beautiful plant that I would bring home, admire for a few weeks, accidentally kill, and eventually apologize to while throwing it away. Instead, I think they may have turned me into a plant person. The first thing that makes this place special is the space itself. This residential house has been transformed into what feels like a living, breathing home filled with beautiful, youthful plants. The selection feels purposeful, and everything is placed so naturally that there's a flow as you wander from room to room. It never feels like you're walking through a store with inventory lined up on shelves. It feels like you're touring someone's wonderfully eccentric home and discovering all the little things they've collected along the way. There are even things tucked into corners or sitting on tables that look so perfectly at home that I'm still not 100% sure whether some of them are actually for sale. And somehow, every time I visit, I notice something I swear wasn't there before. A new plant. A piece of pottery that feels far too nice for what it costs. Some strange little decorative treasure. A seashell that suddenly becomes the perfect new home for an old plant you brought back to be repotted. You can walk in thinking you have a quick errand to run and realize 45 minutes later that it has become one of the most enjoyable parts of your week. There's something genuinely calming about wandering through the rooms and seeing what you discover. But as beautiful as the plants and the space are, they aren't what ultimately made me want to keep coming back. It's the people. There is something wonderfully contagious about how excited the staff gets about your plants. When you make a choice, they don't react like someone who just rang up another item. They make you feel like you somehow discovered the coolest plant in the entire building. Their enthusiasm makes your purchase feel personal--as though you didn't just buy something; you picked your plant. And if you're someone like me who walks in knowing approximately nothing, there is never a feeling that you should already know the answers. They'll travel through the rooms with you, answer questions, help you figure out what works with the light in your home, talk through pots and care, and steer you toward something that actually fits your life. You leave not only excited about what you bought, but confident that the plants in your arms might actually survive living with you. That completely changed plant shopping for me. And the relationship doesn't necessarily end when you swipe your card. They seem to care about the plants they sell almost like someone who fostered an animal and still wants occasional updates to make sure it's doing okay. You can bring plants back when they need some extra TLC. They'll repot them. They can help care for and water them while you're away. There's a wonderful feeling that if something starts going wrong, you have somewhere to bring it besides Google at 11:30 at night while searching, "Why are my plant's leaves turning brown?" And if they don't have what you're looking for, they actually remember. Mention that you've been searching for a bonsai tree, and a month later your phone might light up with a text and a picture: Look what came in. That kind of service is increasingly rare. It turns what could have been a simple retail transaction into a relationship. I originally walked through that greenery-covered house expecting to buy a plant I would probably kill. Now I walk in excited to see what's new. Somewhere along the way, they didn't just sell me plants. They took away the uncertainty that had kept me from owning them in the first place. They made learning about them fun, made caring for them feel manageable, and made buying one feel less like bringing home a decoration and more like adding another small living thing to your home. So maybe my first impression was right. Maybe there is a little magic in that house on Broadway after all.

Not everything thing is greatly discounted (if you know your prices on specific items) but there's LOTS that are at unbeatable prices. They have an amazing book department--recent bestseller hardcover books as low as $3.99! Comic Book Trade Paperbacks--many listed $19.99 for $3.99, too!. I got a hardcover oversized edition of the DC miniseries "Watchmen" listed for $40.00 for $7.00! Star Wars and Super Hero action figures for half the price than what Walmart sells them for. Excellent deals on cereals plus items like coffee (40 kcups box for just $9.99 on one brand). Great prices on items such as body wash and shampoos. Cool discounted electronics. I bought a floor turbo fan for $30.00. They sell some really nice rugs plus bath, bed & kitchen items, super cheap car items like windshield wipers and seat covers, yard items and more! The staff is friendly and you can see they work hard so treat them nice---they're helpful and accommodating (hope it stays that way). Every Thursday is when the new stock comes in. They give 15% off coupons on their rewards program. I take a trip there weekly to discover great bargains--especially on books, toys and food! I hope this store sticks around and continues to offer great discounted items and great service. We need a store like this-- especially during this horrendous economy in 2023.
