I am remodeling my bedroom, and Josh and his team installed the wall lamp I ordered above my headboard in the bedroom (before I bring in the painter) ; I wanted a fixture because I find wires going up the wall ugly. Friendly and organized, they were very efficient, showed up on time and explained everything they were going to do, including the recommendation of a wall switch since the lamp (surprisingly) did not swing down. I love looking at the work they did, it changes the whole atmosphere of harshly lit room. Not a trace of debris was left, no gaping holes nor signs of demo. I've had two projects done by Homelight. One was ceiling spotlights that shine on a painting, the other was a hookup for separate washer/dryer (replacing the old stacked unit) - and this was an 'emergency' because we didn't know what was behind the stacked unit until we pulled it out. So, I live in NY and my daughter lives in Boston. As a dad I would love to help her with home problems myself but being 200 miles away doesn't allow it. Anyway, she had a problem with a ceiling light in the living room and called HomLight for a repair. While they were there she asked them to also look at the thermostat as it was going through batteries very rapidy. They fixed the light in no time and did a great job. They connected a common wire on the thermostat, that was required, and told my daughter to call the thermostat company to register it. Long story short, the thermostat company wouldn't let her register it because she didn't have a receipt. This happened on the coldest night to date and she had no heat. I called HomeLight and spoke to Paul and he sent someone there that very afternoon to connect a new thermostat. I cant tell you how appreciative I am for his help.
