From start to finish, my experience with E/R Electric was exceptional. I started a project through Yelp requesting assistance installing a Caseta Lutron light switch system. E/R Electric texted within several hours, and we set up a time for them to stop by and see my property. I was super impressed when Eddie noticed that three of the LED overhead lights in my bedroom were set to a different color from the rest. I explained my needs, and he emailed me a detailed quotation. The most thorough quotation I have ever received detailing room by room what would be done and all at a very fair price. He provided explicit directions and links to the specific Caseta products I would need to order from Amazon. We set up a date for installation. One day ahead of schedule, he emailed me to let me know he had earlier availability (who does that?!), and he and a team member came by and installed the new switches within two hours. He was patient as I wanted to walk through and ensure all the switches worked properly. He walked me through setting up the Lutron app on my cell phone. Eddie wrote out a detailed receipt, which is much appreciated! I also inquired about a replacement unit for my bathroom light. Later that evening, I received two emails. The first was checking to see that everything was working properly, and the second was with information on the replacement lighting. I cannot recommend Eddie and his team highly enough. TL; DR: Super efficient, friendly, funny, effective, and competitively priced. Will definitely call again if/when I need an electrician for any job, big or small. Longer version: I had a series of small problems around the house--my kitchen overhead lights would flicker then turn off; a couple outlets stopped working; I somehow messed up changing my bedroom light fixture. I needed an electrician so I wouldn't burn my house down while trying to "fix" everything. I contacted several electricians for quotes, and Eddie got back to me immediately with availability and an estimate, saying he could confirm the quote when he saw it in person. His response time was one of the fastest, and his estimate was one of the most reasonably priced, depending on how long it would take to complete the job. He and his colleague arrived early, and they wore masks and even offered to take their boots off when they saw I have a shoes-off house (and it was snowing/salty out). They were polite and kind, and they were able to confirm the estimate and get to work immediately. They joked and worked efficiently, and they were just incredibly good people. They finished up in about half an hour, tidied up, and left. It was a great experience, and they obviously knew what they were doing and took pride in their work. I contacted this company last week and the responded immediately indicating they could not come until today. It was to replace a cable in the wall for my Wi-Fi. The cable company had given me a temporary fix that would allow me to use wi-fi, but with an exposed cable, so I was able to wait until this week. When Eddie was able to come earlier than our agreed time, he contacted me and I accommodated him and Steve. He listened to the issue, explained what he would do, including having to make a small hole in the basement ceiling to extend the snake in properly. They put on a cover to keep the floors clean and swept up after as well as patched the ceiling. They are very professional, pleasant, and even have a Yelp discount.
