Sadly, it's far too easy to find people in the trades these days with less than stellar work ethic or a sense of fairness to the customer. I've had more than one bad example before. There are still good apples out there though, and Iliya @ Iliev is one of them. This is absolutely the guy you want for a job if you want someone who's responsive, attentive to detail, friendly, and skilled. His rate was competitive and he was great to work with. If I need any more electric work, this is my guy. I submitted a request for a quote for the installation of a backup generator to several electricians. Iliev Electric was one of the first to respond. The quotes I received ranged from ridiculously low to extremely expensive, Iliya's quote was right in the middle--very reasonable. Despite some early confusion in the project due to miscommunication on my part, which significantly impacted the scope and timeline. Iliya handled the situation professionally. He reworked the costing and explained the details. The price went up but remained reasonable and the project progressed without interruption. Communication from start to finish was excellent.
