We weren't sure how to score the last hole, so we made up our own rules for it. Everything seemed decently maintained, and each of the holes had a starter space with three depressions for "teeing off," which is rare, and appreciated! There's a small arcade and plenty of "photo op" spots. There's also an ice cream shop with a nifty retro refrigerator and a good selection of ice cream. The worker when we visited was very pleasant and helpful, and genuinely seemed to be enjoying her job.

The indoor field house means that you don't have to worry about your game getting rained out. The facility and equipment is brand new and in perfect condition. Chris the owner, was friendly, organized, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. He took us through a variety of bubble games we could play (listed on their site) that ranged from king of the ring style games where you'd try to bump your opponent out of bounds, to President, where each team is trying to protect their president from being knocked over (like capture the flag with people). We tried bumper soccer too, but all of us actually preferred the other games more, just because the soccer ball is a little hard to see and get to, while you're in your big bubble. My group of about 20 all played hard, got a great workout, had a great time, and made it through without any injuries. The birthday package includes drinks and pizza. Most local businesses are very busy during this week. We had to wait about 5 minutes before being able to place our order. Not really a big deal, but looking inside all we could see were 2 teenager employees working. There really needed to be at least 3, preferably 4. Someone dropped the ball on scheduling, OR has a problem with call offs. So we ordered our treats and waited. About 5 minutes after we placed our order, another customer came up to the window and ordered. Some of the people who had ordered before us were beginning to get their cones and shakes, but i could hear one complaining that people who ordered after him got their cones before him. After waiting another 10 minutes or so, the man who had ordered long after me got his shake and cone for his son. Yet, we had not gotten anything. By this time, an adult woman was helping the 2 young people (where was she earlier?). When i finally got my drink, i checked my watch. It took over 20 minutes to get what i ordered. I would have given it one star, but the young employees were very courteous despite being obviously frazzled.

The stadium opens 90 minutes before first pitch, but I recommend going at least 2 hours early to…read moretake photos all around the outside of the stadium, and then again all around the inside of the stadium. This truly is the best stadium in baseball that I've been to. (I've been to 22 so far). Outside you can get your picture with so many different statues and monuments. I got my pic with Honus Wagner and his statue would be behind home plate outside on the street. Also, on the street I got my pic with Roberto Clemente who is in center field outside the stadium right by his yellow bridge. There's a Willie Stargell statue in Left Field. And lastly, outside there is a Bill Mazeroski statue at the end of the cul-de-sac in Right Field. There's an area for retired numbers outside the stadium along the river. There are also a bunch of baseballs of retired numbers along the water too. Inside the stadium there are bobblehead Pirate guys to get photos with all along the outfield. There's also a giant "P." The best views of the city and river basically anywhere inside the stadium. I love how much room there is on the concourse and how open it is. We walked around and took in the atmosphere. We bought seats way up top so we could watch the game and enjoy the view. Absolutely put this stadium on your bucket list.
