Since that time I've met and married my wife and we moved into her house. I rented out this house since the market died in Denver within a year of moving in and it was worth way less than I paid for it. Fast forward 6 years and here we are. The renters I had were disgusting and did a lot of bad stuff to the house. Yan has contacts and was able to help me get great guys in really quick for quotes on new carpet and paint. Yan and I literally did a walk thru on the 1st of the month and the painters were out painting the next day. At Yan's suggestion we put a "coming soon" sign up a couple weeks before the renter's moved out and Yan was so great that the second the painters were done (AND before the new carpet and appliances were in!) AND before we even got officially listed, we already had 2 offers in. I'd recommend Yan and Landmark in a heartbeat.

We will acknowledge that we should have read the fine print to clarify this with him, but we trusted that he would honor the rate on his net sheet. We attempted to contact him multiple times after an email where he called me by the wrong name, despite multiple communications, both through text and email. My husband sent a detailed email outlining our concerns and asking for clarification regarding the discrepencies in the commission rate. Mr. Brautigam never responded to this initial email or the followup email sent by my husband. He responded a day later through text stating that he was selling homes in Evergreen and had just seen the email from my husband outlining our concerns. My husband asked him to call, giving a specific timeframe when he would be available. Mr. Brautigam never called. My husband texted him later that evening, stating that we wanted to terminate our agreement with him and asked for the termination paperwork. Mr. Brautigam responded, stating that he would be by the following day to pick up the sign in our yard, which we had to ask repeatedly for him to place. He never addressed our concerns. He did not take the time to focus on our listing, did not actively market the listing, and now we have had to delist our property in order to find a more suitable agent. The market is voliatle and Mr. Brautigam's lack of attention to detail and complete lack of focus on the client's best interest has disrputed our home selling process in a very negative way. This has been one of the worst experiences we have had with a business in Colorado.
