The closing agent moved through the process quickly with me, explaining everything as we went. The Camp Bowie location is not central to Fort Worth. But, eh. I passed on several properties that weren't perfect and could've settled much sooner. But she stuck it out with me with no complaints, always helpful. We are now getting ready to move in. We realized two weeks before we move in and two weeks after we were accepted that we had not received a lease agreement to sign so we called and asked for the lease agreement. They informed us that they would send it to us by the end of the day. Three days went by and no update until the end of the day on Friday at 4:45-4:50 that we were over income and we could no longer live here. For the past week now we have emailed them asking for a simple written email explaining why we were denied and the date we would be refunded. We were told over the phone that we would receive the application fee and the move in fees as well. Over the week we have not received any reply to the email or have been told it will be sent either "by end of the day or tomorrow for sure" and neither have been true. This has put us in a bad spot because we need the money that we put into the move in fees and application to apply for other housing and move in fees. As well as finding somewhere else to live in a limited timeframe. I would not recommend this community at all considering how well the front office and management is at getting back with its future residents and sending essential paper work. We were really excited to move in and now it's a nightmare trying to get assurance that we will be refunded and an email detailing when and the amount we will get refunded.

No told us until the last minute. My wife and I were royally screwed over. After speaking for months with staff they finally told us we made just above the AMI but at end of application process. They stated it was on their website to defend themselves. This information which must be found by actively seeking out the essential housing information was not in plain site or highlighted. I suggest they train staff to make this clear before encouraging applications and wasting peoples time. This was only after we paid for an application and took of work multiple times to complete paper work. Some staff were nice while others had a lot of attitude when asked for updates or general questions (to make sure e everything was in order). Not once did the manager or staff look at our initial application and tell us that they had switched to operating solely for attainable housing. They were several items they did not tell us to fill out paperwork until I asked about them. They ask us to fill in compliance paper work even through we made above AMI. They would have waited who knows how long if we had not ask what the next steps are. Terrible communication unless prompted. They required that we come in the middle of work day to complete compliance paper work. We were very excited and optimistic until the end. The staff attitude and training needs to be improved. The establishment is likely to go down hill with new management. We had friends that live in community and it seemed great and always had good things to say. Unfortunately the new change in management in October will likely ruin such a great community. Since they are limiting essential housing they pushing out potential tenants that could strengthen the diversity of community.

Claire, set up my appointment to view the property and I was surprised when she contacted me the day before the appointment to confirm and let me know she would see me at my appointment. I enjoyed touring the property with Claire because she was able to jump and ask questions while I was going down my mental checklist. Even after touring the property, we talked about how much we enjoyed the property. Once I was approved, I let Claire know and even when there was a hiccup with management getting my lease to me, Claire jumped into action to assist where she could. I value Claire as she went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. Things moved quickly, from the time I was contacted to the time I applied and was approved, was no more than 3 days. Also, I have kept in touch with Claire, she sent me a congratulatory message on move in day. Working with Claire felt as though she was just a friend helping me out. Great vibes all around, I have already recommended Claire to a colleague of mine and will continue to refer my friends, family and colleagues to her.
