The store was empty when I arrived, so I thought it would be difficult to find a salesperson, but all of a sudden, out of nowhere, Jennifer asked if I needed help. Where did she come from??? Jennifer quickly scanned the item and looked on the computer for it. She told me that another location had several on hand, but to call before going, just to make sure they had it, so I would not waste my time. She was super friendly and helpful, and I could tell she was very dedicated to her job. The next time I was in the store, I forgot her name, but recognized her right away. I met the store manager Wynette at the front, who helped me with another inquiry. I told her about Jennifer and what an amazing salesperson she is. Andrea was at the cash, and she was very helpful as well. I find items are quite pricey, so I always use a 20% coupon. I receive them in the mail regularly, and can use the ones I receive by email too. This is definitely my favorite location!

My rating is 3.5 stars…read more I have been to this Bed, Bath & Beyond twice. It's odd. When I lived in the States, I fell in love with this store and visited often. Since there have been franchises in Canada, I don't have the same love for the store. It's mainly because prices are higher than I would like them to be. On the other hand, the two purchases that I have made have been on sale. My first purchase was a set of two ramen cookers. You put your ramen in the microwave with some water and it magically gives you perfectly cooked ramen. It's funny that for a few years, I was knocking this product. Why do you need to nuke your ramen when you can make it with boiling water in a pot? I will say that these cookers are my go-to when I am travelling and stay at a hotel that has a microwave. When I get hungry, I can make ramen whenever I crave it. You can also make other items in these cookers. Anyway, I got these ramen cookers on sale for $7, which was 60% off the regular price. Not too shabby! Recently, my lapdesk called it quits. I work from home a couple of times a week. I have had this lapdesk for seven years. It was time to get a new one. I found the perfect one at Bed, Bath & Beyond. I decided to reserve it and pick it up at this store. Within the hour, I got an e-mail confirming that it was there. The following morning, I went to pick it up. The woman at the Customer Service counter was friendly. I had the e-mail on my phone. She simply asked what I had ordered, went to a cage-like area to unlock the door, and retrieved my lapdesk. Nice! I seamlessly paid for my item and happily left the store. I love my replacement lapdesk. There is plenty of parking in the lot. The store is near the LCBO. There are a ton of items available at this store. I simply come here to buy goods that are on sale or can only be found here. (84)

My sincere apologies, but better late than never. My contractor recommended Candor Cabinets last year when I talked to him about my plans to renovate my kitchen. As early as the year before, I visited the Candor Showroom in Markham to see their sample materials and to discuss possible options. They were most hospitable and accommodating and showed me what they could do to replace my kitchen surfaces and cabinetry. I was immediately impressed with the variety of options for kitchen counters, flooring, as well as cabinet designs, surfaces, materials, colors and hardware. Also discussed new layouts and overall design to create a more functional and easier-to-use kitchen all around. Truly impressive and most professional, at great affordable prices. Candor Cabinets is a small company that provides most personalized services, the Owners are passionate to provide the best product and services. They came to my house to advise me on cabinet design including how to make my shelves and cabinets more functional and efficient for our family use. They designed a more efficient cabinet system to add more shelf space giving us additional storage space for all of our kitchen equipment and food items. Something as simple as a narrow spice cabinet, a specific garbage cabinet, and new door openings to navigate all formerly-under-utilized odd corner spaces, were all put to life with simple door openings and design. Incredible! Their cabinet design allowed for a much more efficient kitchen layout. It all seems so simple, but truly a game changer! The cabinet installers were very efficient, extremely particular, and very careful with the cabinet installation. I was most impressed with the detailing they went through, and all the careful craftsmanship to deliver a beautiful new kitchen. I was truly impressed with their work. That included the quartz countertop installation. Even the veining of the design was taken into account so that it matched slabs which were cut and positioned together. Thank you, Candor Cabinets, the installation team and of course the manufacturing team. I highly recommend this company. They will work with you and your budget, as well as deliver your work according to the schedule you have. So, the best I can do is recommend them as much as I can. You will not be disappointed. (Sorry again for the delay in this review and appreciation for all your kind work.)

Don`t let the elegant appearance fool you, the quality of kitchen faucets is poor. Stick to the flooring, and anything that has no moving parts. I bought a Como brand kitchen faucet and paid $150.00 for it, thinking it would be good quality. Looks are deceiving, and the price led me to believe that I was buying a good quality faucet but I was wrong. It was easy to install, it looks beautiful, but you only have 2 choices of water temperature.... scalding hot or freezing cold. There is no way to moderate the water temperature. It`s almost impossible to get a balanced warm temperature. I am either scalding my hands, or freezing them. The faucet is complete garbage, and now I have to buy a new faucet because I didn`t return it, so that`s on me. However, I thought I would get used to the horrible temperature settings after a few weeks, but alas, I was incorrect in my assumption. I will now go to Home Depot and get a Kohler or Moen.

The Home Basics has the feel of a Dollar Store. The goods are lying everything and some goods are even similar but they charges a lot more! The spaces is really clammed and there are hardly any Japanese imported goods, most of them are from China or their cheaper versions. I don't mind browsing around, but I don't think I will be doing a lot of buying in here! The parking lot can get busy and crazy during prime grocery shopping time and weekends!

Those rebates can range from $20 to $80 depending on how expensive the item is. I came here to purchase a hot water dispenser and received a $20 coupon rebate card, but was not allowed to use it till my next visit. On my next visit, I tried to use the $20 coupon card on a small Rice Cooker that came with a $80 rebate coupon. The sales staff told me I can't use the $20 on an item that had a coupon offer. So after purchasing the rice cooker, I had $100 to spend. The problem is, the rest of the products this store carries are made in China and Dollar Store quality with escalated prices. The shoe rack on display had visible cracks and splints and a storage trolley was missing a wheel. So, at the end, I don't know if that $100 credit is worth anything. The service here is horrible. The sales staff must be on commission - they stand right beside you like hawks, with stoney, unfriendly expressions and follow you around the store even if you don't have any questions to ask. They will tell you how great a product is, if you ask. (Seriously, pick any product) Overall, unpleasant shopping experience - would not return.
