I neither noticed this Winners, nor the SportChek next door. This store is one of the better ones. For those in Whitby, be proud of it for a few reasons. First, I am a huge fan of Kipling handbags. This store goes one step beyond my usual level of happiness at Winners by offering a pink Kipling backpack. It is a rare find. The second point sealed my love for this store. It offers USB type C cables, which is incredible. It is a first for me! You typically get micro USB and lightning cables in ample supply. Yes, I have to be so different with a phone that only uses USB type C. You get a decent variety of two different brands. Both USB type C cables are six feet in length and go for $7.99. Perfect! I love the selection of items, from limited edition Simpson Tic Tacs in both donut and bubble gum flavours, to Popcornopolis popcorn. I don't see any of these fine products at my local Winners. The selection of size 11 women's shoes in decent. I nearly bought a pair of Keds sneakers, but decided that I didn't love them desperately enough to purchase them. The cashier was super sweet. I was eyeing those huge glass beverage dispensers. It's summer and they look cool to have, containing citrus-flavoured water or sangria. I also loved how creative mason jar mugs are becoming. You can get sets where each mug is a different colour. I also loved the watermelon and pineapple ones. I don't need any water bottles, but they are getting more sophisticated these days. They have pretty pastel-coloured ones, which look nice and are double-walled. If anyone needs a watermelon cuber or slicer, you can get them here. I am still using a huge knife and elbow grease. When I get tired and cave in, you'll see these accessories in my kitchen. It's a cool store with practical, fun items. This one is nice and the prices are pretty good. (308)

We had a tour of the completed project and were very impressed with the design and the expert installation. Our neighbors are "fussy" about having a job done properly so that was a good indication of Anden's commitment to quality. So, last month we decided to have our kitchen counters replaced. A visit to Anden's showroom led to installation a couple of weeks later. The two workers who installed the new counters were excellent. It was not even possible to see where they joined two pieces together. I sure wish that I could caulk like they did. There was a minor problem with re-installation of the garburator as one of the seals was damaged in the original counter removal. Getting the part in COVID times took a bit, but all is well and Anden went out of their way to help with this matter. In short, we were very pleased with the entire process and would recommend this company to anyone contemplating a reno job.

We were shown the different styles of carpets and explained what we were looking for . Youre allowed to take home the sample swatches so there could be some stock missing if someone's signed out two or three of them. My only complaint here is there is a large sample on the front and tons of small samples on the back... Hard to get a feel of how it'll look with only small samples. I know you can't keep excess stock everywhere but maybe if they kept some scrap from jobs of the most common colors and had larger samples handy it would help. They do have another way to get an in home view. They have an app/website where you sample photograph your home and test the carpet color. I found it was fairly accurate and we chose the carpet color that looked best . You do pay for the carpet 100% in advance. We were a little off put because when do you ever pay in advance . But they do have a 100% guarantee and will even rip out the carpet and replace if with a different color if you decide you don't like it. They have such great reviews, we went ahead and booked. We opted to rip our our own carpet out to save a little money on install. It does take some time as the edges can be a hassle but all in all it wasn't too bad. Install day came and our installers Mark and Luigi were great. They joked around with eachother and were a delight with our doggies. When the carpet was initially brought into the house we had an "Oh NO" moment. We thought we chose too light of a color and they would have to rip it out. But, once they started installing it on the stairs the light hit differently and we both knew it was perfect. The carpet itself is thick and luscious. Feels like you're walking on clouds. You get what you pay for 100% and we are 100% happy with the choice we made to go with carpet one. Thanks to Harrison and the team for the guidance .
