He was knowledgable about my selections and didn't pressure me into any purchases. He engaged in conversation with me on a personal level and made me feel very comfortable. Ah, Dollarama - you have become my go-to store for just about everything. And why not? Dollarama…read morehas grown over the past few years to include just about everything you can think of, so why pay more elsewhere? Pros: - This Dollarama is quite large and the items it regularly carries are seldom out of stock. - You really CAN get just about everything here - home decor, toiletries, clothing, party items, pet products, food, school supplies, outdoor stuff, and much more. - The price, of course, is always right. Prices have risen slightly over the past few years - there are more items at $1.50, $2, etc. - but nothing is over $3. How can you go wrong with that? Better yet, if something is missing a price tag, it's automatically $1. - Like every other store in Southridge Mall, this place is never truly busy. This, of course, means that you can browse in relative peace and quiet. - Lots of parking; you won't have an issue finding a spot close to the store's entrance. - Checkout experience has always been quick. Cons: - Staff can be hit-or-miss - some are cheerful, some are sullen. Always worth the (short) trip!

We initially walked in about 10 minutes before closing, but we were not made to feel unwelcome at any point - we received a friendly greeting and had our questions answered in a pleasant manner. We were given a number of tips and advice on the care and set-up of our items. - Prices are great! There are lots of deals on and there's a pretty decent selection of furniture, so chances are you'll find what you're looking for and be able to stick to your budget. - Prices include free delivery and set-up, which is awesome, but if you're able to pick up items yourself, you will receive a 5% discount. - The pickup process was very efficient. Cons: - None that I can think of. Definitely worth a gander if you're looking for reasonably-priced furniture!

They've got things here that are perfect if you live nearby and need them in a pinch and are too lazy to walk over to Shoppers, Dollarama or Wally Mart. I frequent(ed) this store often and didn't really see anything wrong with it. They sometimes get in liquidation stock from other stores. Like one time, I remember they had these old Gameboy carrying cases, where the box had water damage and they were at least 20 years old. (they were for the original brick-style Gameboy) Other times, I'd find bootleg DVD's in their DVD bin. Edit: As of July, 2015, Buck or Two in the Rainbow Mall has closed up permanently. I think a Dollarama is moving in there soon.

Pros: - Every single salesperson I encountered was friendly and helpful - they even let me into the store a few minutes before opening! - Huge selection of footwear and accessories for all. - Lots of sizes available. - Plenty of sales and specials to go around. - Everything was clean and neatly organized. - I had no trouble finding a spot to sit or a mirror (large or small). - Footlets, socks, and shoe horns are readily available for customer use. Cons: - None that I can think of. One thing I've noticed about The Shoe Company is that its stores are generally reflective of what is advertised on its website - also, you can order shoes online and pick them up in store for free. If you're a frequent buyer of shoes, I recommend joining their loyalty program. Two thumbs up!

Pros: - Awesome staff - very friendly and helpful. I had to make a return on a blender I purchased (turns out the glass was cracked), which was about as pain-free a process as one could hope for. - Lots of variety and an ever-changing inventory keep things interesting. - Great deals on everything! Granted, some of the items carried are not always top-notch quality or brand-new, but I have yet to have an issue with any refurbished product I've bought thus far. - Extended warranties are available for electronics, kitchen appliances, etc. - I've never had an issue with finding a parking space. Cons: - All the XS Cargo stores I've ever been in have been neat and tidy, but this one isn't. I'm not sure if part of this has to do with the space itself (awkward layout) or the staff, but there's a lot of dusty merchandise and general disarray. Perfect for budget-conscious individuals. I hope it never goes out of business.
