Great service. Clean interior. First time in so gambled with the menu. The burgers and sandwiches looked great. We chose the Reuben rolls. Very tasty! Got a Summer Salad, however, and it was disappointing. Lotta lettuce and not much else. Big mouthfuls of lettuce with maybe two strawberries and a few kernels of corn and hardly any cheese. So that wasn't the best. Maybe the other food is better and more for your money? read more

Stopped in based on the yelp reviews and was not disappointed. Serviced by Samantha was excellent with a great smile. Tried the Philly cheesesteak sandwich with a pasta salad and followed up with a stuffedFrench toast ice cream. Has that feel of being a pub but there were quite a few families that were having lunch here and some of them were on the outside patio. All good, no complaints, would probably come back. read more

The best find in butte, mt. Service is exceptional! Burgers are made with local farm raised beef. One of the best tasting burgers. The sliders are a must. Ambience is great. Service was SUPER nice and quick. Sat at the back covered patio with our little chihuahua who got lots of attention and a treat. Nice cozy music playing and even when it was super sunny it didn't feel hot at all, nice breeze cut through. Had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and a salad side. From what I remember, this space was the Miner's Cafe before it became Homestake and I can't remember it making much of an impression on me. However, Homestake certainly has! They were the first place I found that had beef sliders and I used to meet my friend from Missoula there for lunch often. Jean and Kyle have done a great job with the space and even added a tent outback recently so the patio can be utilized for more of the year. I have always been a partial-shade plant so it suits me well in the summer. They have Elote Ribs, which are to die for *spoken like a true iowan*, and we'll drive across town for one of their Philly Cheesesteaks. Definitely think they have the best fry sauce in town and they also have hot honey! They have a small area with retro video games and what seems to be a miniature shuffle board. And they have a parking lot! Which is nice in a *Big City*. Always lovely to see everyone there and can't wait to taste my way down the menu some more. read more

The patio was completely covered and very pleasant. My son had Philly Cheesesteak which he loved. I had the Rueben which was also good but the pieces of meat were quite thick. After reading the reviews I expected it to be a quick stop. I walked in and ordered a burger, salad, and cheese curds to go. I waited for 45 minutes before I got my food. Very disappointed in the service. They could have offered me a free soda or something while I waited but they did not. The restaurant was not busy at all and they blamed their slow pace on "DoorDash orders". Rating low based on service alone. read more

I had an awesome Patty Melt & fries. Great service by Anne Marie & nice pub atmosphere. There is some gaming in the back area. Restrooms were nice too & I was able to park my 33' RV right on the street across from the restaurant. (granted it was around 2pm when I was there) read more

We got there on the early side and just used YELP to find this place. I had the chicken street tacos ( without the hot sauce) and my husband had some kind of beefsteak hoagie. While waiting for our food, a cook ( the owner) came out of the kitchen and asked a server (his wife) to try something he was experimenting with. Hand breaded, deep fried, cheese curds!!! They were out of this world DELICIOUS!!! He came around the room and offered to let us try them. After eating my tacos, I had our server ask if I could possibly get a half order of them. Yahoo!! She got them for us. I would be back on Monday when they hit the menu. read more

Stopped in on a work trip. I just wanted to get a beer and a quick dinner while I studied for grad school and this place met my needs and then some! They let me read in peace but were also so friendly and helpful. The menu was awesome - I had the shrimp and fries and it was great! Fries were seasoned, crinkle cut and delicious. We found this place because it was around the corner from another Butte cafe that was closed. I consider that unexpected closure a blessing from God because it meant that I ate here, one of the best Sunday brunches I have had in a while. Everything was done with attention to detail, and excellence in presentation and taste. I had the steak dish. It was served with a pat of garlic butter on top freshly placed there the moment before the meal was served. It as delicious. The service was great, friendly, timely and professional. A true hidden gem in butte! Staff is amazing and welcomed us in. Offered a wide selection of craft beers and fun activities to do while you hang out.
