One of the only places in town with a diverse menu for vegetarians/ vegans and people with gluten intolerance. It has quality food, kombucha, and a cute little indoor/ outdoor courtyard in the back. Cute little spot. Parking out front for breakfast is easily accessed. The restaurant is tight and I could see there being an issue with congestion if more than 5 people came in at the same time. The barista seems a touch overworked, but the food and drinks were pretty good. That said, don't come here expecting biscuits and gravy. Expect dishes that are more like vegan pancakes and fast bites. Their selection of coffee and tea is pretty solid, as well. read more

So, it was a very hot, hot day when we were there. We showed up and were seated after a few moments and given cool water to drink. There were 2 people working for a full restaurant, not including the cook. The staff working were absolutely great and worked very hard. When we arrived we were told there was no bacon, red potatoes or breakfast items left. Not a problem. We were in a hurry to be somewhere on time and the waitress made sure we got our food quickly, so we could make it there on time. I had ordered a GF grilled ham and cheese with tzatziki as my side. When it came there was potato salad because they had run out of tzatziki. I requested a salad and it was brought, which was quite good too. Everyone else had exactly what they ordered. They enjoyed the food and said it was quite good. As we were leaving I overheard the waitress stating to the new customers they only had 3 types of meals left. My issues...where was the owner of the business? Where was the manager of the business? Who orders their food? These people were great and hard workers. These other people let down the employees and everyone else who gave them patronage that day. Why wasn't the owner there working and the manager? If it wasn't for the hard working employees they would have received a 2 star rating because of the circumstances. We will try this restaurant again and if it's understaffed we won't be back to support a place that doesn't assist their employees in a busy Saturday during the summer. read more

A "hidden gem." Well, not so hidden. On a main street, and MUCH larger than what you see at first glance. The funky ambience works. As for the food, the burgers with cheese were tasty, the sides were very good, and the staff was very accommodating -- if a bit harried. Apparently, Mondays are normally laid back. Not the Monday we were there. Very busy. The word must have gotten out this is a very good place to eat in Butte. I only wish we lived closer. read more

Terrific little Uptown restaurant, It has a NW Coast feeling, with a lot of plants, exposed brick, and a sense that you're walking into a converted, turn-of-the-last-century house. Every single thing I've had to eat here has been exceptional. If you want fresh, delicious, and mostly healthy, this is your place. Not healthy boring. Healthy dynamic and yummy. The coffee beats any place around. Helpful and always friendly staff. There's a sweet little courtyard that reminds me of some dining experiences in other countries, so it has a vacationesque feeling for me. On one visit, it was toward the end of lunch time and I had the courtyard to myself. The waiter was extra attentive without hovering, and made sure I had everything I needed for a great experience. They were out of dessert, so he had the kitchen make up a piece of French toast with sautéed fruit and a bit of cream on the side. It felt so special and decadent. Rosie is AWESOME! Super helpful, knowledgeable and patient. We eat whole food plantbased no oil and she was a gem helping me best navigate the menu. There are plenty of vegan options as well as easy ways to veganize certain dishes. Food is by far the best in town always has options for all age groups and never feels like the food is sitting always comes fresh and hot there coffee is made right in front of you with freshly ground coffee. The hostess was also weirdly a waitress, who first quoted 15 min then immediately changed her mind and said had space outside, I didn't know where it was and was not shown the way. Also, disappointingly, the cafe didn't offer WiFi on weekends--when I had gone just for the WiFi. I would consider to limiting WiFi to 30 min on weekends as opposed to shutting it off altogether. read more

The food was tasty, but unfortunately it took over 40 min. for four TINY sandwiches, even with almost empty dining rooms.
