It's like all the super cute or good looking people nominated this place to play volley ball so not only do you get to watch a good game but pretty people in very little clothing as well! The downtown area of Bellevue is a very modern looking city, with buildings as tall as 42 floors and a very large city park, dominating the area. But if you go just a bit South towards more of a residential area, you will meet this beautifully maintained park, with most of its area dominated by a fenced in lawn covered in bark mulch. It is only one block away from Meydenbauer Bay of Lake Washington. The chain link fence is well maintained, the mulch is relatively new, and dog owners are being responsible looking after their pets (plus there are no geese or ducks roaming around, leaving presents). It's a great place to let a young dog let out its energy.

It's not the largest park by any means, nor does it have many amenities. But it's nice to know it's here for those who want to find a quiet park where not many frequent, but is enough room to wander around. It's hidden off behind Main Street in downtown Bellevue, where many older condos and apartments are located. Space is a decent size for dogs to run around in the large lawn, but wouldn't recommend for any group games or to play sports. It's best for lounging and for smaller activities, such as playing catch or yoga. There is a wooded area, but is very small, as well as a water fountain, benches and picnic tables, complimentary poop bags for dogs and a mini library, my favorite feature here! Although I don't often visit Wildwood Park, it's nice to know I can come here for some alone time, especially when I wanna lay out and read a book. Close to the hub of downtown Bellevue, but far enough to be away from it, if that makes any sense. That's the charm of Wildwood Park.

There was a couple spots open, but limited. It wasnt until after 3 pm that the park started to get busier and the park began to pile in. People started looking to park outside of the lots for a spot. Most people tend to park at the bottom lots due to convenience. There is plenty of room at the lot up the hill and nobody was really up here as it was mostly entrances to walking trail and picnic tables. Overall, still a beautiful park!
