Christy and her team at Homestyle Dog Care are amazing! I know that whenever I board my dog, Riley, for just day care or for a longer period of time that she is in good hands! Prior to moving to the Cutler Bay/Homestead area, I had found Homestyle online- conveniently close to my new home! While the dogs have their own kennels, they also get to play outside with others during the day, which is awesome. There is even a pool that the dogs get to enjoy on hotter days. Riley is a friendly dog (absolutely loves children in particular), but she hadn't had many opportunities to interact frequently with multiple other dogs where we previously lived. After several stays at Homestyle, she seemed to be interacting with other dogs more (although she is still part hound, so she'd much prefer to just sniff everything...). When your dog is excited to get there and just as excited to leave (and it completely exhausted), you know you've found a good place. They even post photos and videos to the Instagram and Facebook accounts so you can keep an eye out on your pup when you're away from home. So glad to have found Homestyle Dog Care! read more

I was very hesitant to put my elder dog in a kennel for two weeks. However she really needed to be watched because of her age. Homestyle takes photos of their various guests daily and was pleasantly surprised with a quick shot of Princess. This kennel came highly rated and did not disappoint. Princess was happy to go see us but was quick to get a last pat before leaving. I liked that the staff was very happy and interacted with all of the dogs. If your dog loves the water they have a big pool for them to use. It is very spacious and inviting. I suggest emailing, talking or taking a personal visit before taking your pet. My dog has gotten pink eye and now kennel cough. They also fed my dog their food without notifying us. DO NOT send your dog here unless you're ready to take the next day off work to bring them to the vet. read more

Highly recommend them!! They took great care of my two dogs (adult golden and puppy terrier mix) and my dogs had a great time. My one puppy didn't have bordetella vaccine and they were able to give it her for a great price. Overall price was reasonable! I live right around the corner so I will definitely board my dogs with them again. read more

Excellent doggy daycare and boarding!! We're new to the area and have a large Siberian Husky/Malamute who's very accustomed to being around dogs on a regular basis. So we were a little concerned before we moved that there weren't many doggy daycares in the area. But once we found Homestyle, we were thoroughly impressed! We emailed them to see if we could bring our dog by to check it out, and they were super fast in responding to say absolutely. We've used them several times already in the last few weeks and our big poochie seems to be excited every time we go back! She always has a blast and is completely worn out when we pick her up...which is perfect! The only issue I would mention is that they have limited space available, especially for bigger dogs, so you need to call ahead to book a day. We weren't used to this because our doggy daycare in Virginia was on a walk-in basis, so we didn't know at first. But once you get on the schedule, it'll be worth it for your furry friend! Especially with some of the other places in Miami who only do pet walking services or in-home sitting...no thanks. We're used to living in the country with room for the dogs to run around and play with each other. These guys give them that opportunity with lots of other puppies when the HOA's in the neighborhoods might start complaining! So if it's just for a few hours, a full day, or multiple days, I highly recommend checking these guys out! Just make sure you get on the schedule early, but don't take our scheduled days! :D Excellent job to the entire staff here!! read more

Not a reviewer however I think Christy and her team are WONDERFUL! I have been taking my two small dogs to them for 2 years and I have to tell you that my dogs are always well taken care off never once have they come back sick or depressed. I booked last minute right before the holidays and they were very flexible and accommodating. They take great care of our dog while we were away. He came back happy and didn't seem to have been stressed like he was at another boarding place. We had to leave him and extra night and it was not a big deal. I would recommend to anyone in the area who needs to leave their pet for a few days! read more

We're new to the area and I am happy I found Home Style Doggie place. I was so worried about leaving my 10 year old yorkie girl (for the first time) behind while we went on short vacation. Ms Christie is a very nice woman. This was not the first time I left my dogs with her, so I can say I have a lot if trust on the service she provides. The place she provides for the dogs is very spacious, clean and nice. She has this huge backyard that even my kids would love to have it for themselves! Ms Christie is very attentive, demonstrate very clearly her passion for dogs and every time I had to travel I feel very secure to leave them in her care. Hands down the best care. I did tons of research on "kennels" before choosing Homestyle and none of them really caught my attention like this facility. I will not take our fur babies (Maltese and a Lab) anywhere else for care while we're away. We have boarded twice so far and have no complaints. Christy and her staff are knowledgable and caring. They even took photos of our babies while they played and posted them on their Facebook page, which brings a sense of relief while away from them. They have an inground pool for play and a staff member is with them at all times. Our Lab LOVES to swim and play fetch and got the chance multiple times during his visit. The entire premises is fenced in and the yard is huge! Our fur babies definitely enjoy their time there! read more

Homestyle is great! We brought our two dogs there, a seven year old and a puppy, for a week, and they came out fluffy (from exit baths), happy, and obviously well cared-for. Our puppy had an infection arise hours before boarding, and had to have a few different meds for the week, but Christy just pulled out a medication schedule sheet and even waived the fee for medication administration. They have so much room, and even a pool, which is excellent for our JR mix puppy who has boundless energy, and they really give individualized attention to the dogs, getting to know them and making sure they are getting what they need to be comfy and happy. We couldn't be happier with Homestyle (it's also cheaper than we've seen anywhere else in Miami, and they don't charge extra fees for every little convenience or additional moment of personal attention or individual needs, which everywhere else does). read more
