Prior to moving to the Cutler Bay/Homestead area, I had found Homestyle online- conveniently close to my new home! While the dogs have their own kennels, they also get to play outside with others during the day, which is awesome. There is even a pool that the dogs get to enjoy on hotter days. Riley is a friendly dog (absolutely loves children in particular), but she hadn't had many opportunities to interact frequently with multiple other dogs where we previously lived. After several stays at Homestyle, she seemed to be interacting with other dogs more (although she is still part hound, so she'd much prefer to just sniff everything...). When your dog is excited to get there and just as excited to leave (and it completely exhausted), you know you've found a good place. They even post photos and videos to the Instagram and Facebook accounts so you can keep an eye out on your pup when you're away from home. So glad to have found Homestyle Dog Care!

Instead, we watched through the live suite camera as our dogs were fed breakfast while there was still feces and what appeared to be urine in their suite. The attached screenshots show the waste remained in the room from 7:43 AM until at least 8:28 AM, and the suite wasn't cleaned until later that morning. Obviously my dogs will not eat if their food is right next to feces or urine. And they did not even send a message of them not touching the food... Feeding dogs in a soiled suite is a basic sanitation issue and completely unacceptable for a facility that markets itself as a luxury pet resort with 24-hour staff and daily housekeeping. We ended the stay early because we no longer felt comfortable leaving our dogs there. Although they refunded the unused nights, no one apologized for what we witnessed. We were even charged for baths, yet our dogs came home still smelling dirty. We paid thousands of dollars expecting exceptional care. Unfortunately, this was not our experience.

What do I mean by this? I once mentioned that a dear family member was hesitant about my Miniature Schnauzer. I told her that they were hypo-allergenic but still refused to trust being close to Oliver and this location employee said "get rid of the family member". I'm sure it was a joke, but they wouldn't hesitate in choosing the pet over you. They love animals, therefore, they would treat yours with the most care possible. I've going to I love my Pet now since March of 2010 and they reason for it was a recommendation since I was in need, not liking my prior pet groomer. They have a lot of knowledge and are always there to provide tips in anything they can. They wouldn't sell you something that you don't need, as I've seen many times. Be sure to check their schedule, as it was recently modified. Thank you I love my Pet for your service and quality. Oliver doesn't get stress out in going for a trip to the groomers, you achieved that.

Dropped off my baby at Pooch House while we went on vacation to NYC. Immediately on drop off, Obi felt at home. The cage less care in a loving home environment was key. When Obi wouldn't eat the first day Ely even offered to give him her dog's homemade food. I was sent pictures and videos of my baby playing, sleeping, eating, all to make me feel comfortable knowing he was safe. Obi highly recommends and already misses his new friends. He will definitely be back!

We are very attached to him so you can imagine how often we checked in. Elizabeth was amazing in every sense. And her place is perfectly equipped to handle large and small dogs.
