We just got back from an eight-day trip. We contracted Equipaws to care for our labradoodle Rio and we COULD NOT BE MORE IMPRESSED. A family friend slept over and Equipaws came over during the day several times to feed Rio, play with her and let her out. Each visit was followed by a journal entry which came to me in the form of a text/email. Photos were included along with detailed explanations of what was done. I have been using Equipaws for at least 5 years, they walk one of my dogs 3 times a week. And sleep over if I'm traveling. I have 2 special needs cic's 3 and 4 pounds and they are here when they sleep over, as well as sometimes my sons mixed terrier. They are so on top of everything especially the 5 pages I leave for the little ones.:) All the dogs get so much attention and love. Flavia and the Equipaws team were so great with my beagles, Bailey and Cooper. Totally reliable, caring and attentive. Every dog owner can appreciate having a sense of security about your dog and their walker. They were always excited to see Kara, their usual walker. They went above and beyond so many times. There was one instance when Cooper ate a bone on a walk. Flavia went out to buy hydrogen peroxide because I did not have any and then monitored him afterward. Feeding two cats is not a difficult job. It's not rocket science. Due to not listening, this service managed to lock me out of our own house for three hours. They do not give out their direct numbers and refuse to communicate via text. Their automated phone system goes to voicemail and they are slow to respond to messages. For some reason, they demand you hand over two sets of keys (Why? Are they actively planning to lose one set?) My wife was out of town on business and had left keys for me in the mailbox. She specifically told Equipaws not to touch the mailbox. They did. Then they removed the keys from the property (now they have three sets) and took them two hours away. Also, the person we believe was servicing our pets (Flavia) was not actually doing the service. It turns out some other girl (name unknown) had our keys. This is a very dodgy operation and we won't be using them again. read more

I just want to say wow to this Pet Service!!!! My husband and I work really long shifts and now that I'm finishing grad school things just got busier so we needed help walking and relieving our Mojo (malte-poo) during the day. Needless to say we couldn't be happier with finding Equipaws to help us. At first I was nervous because Mojo is a really slow to warm up dog who has snapped at strangers he doesn't know but he has grown to love his walker Sami Jo! My cat was diagnosed a few weeks prior to us leaving on vacation with diabetes and she requires two (2) insulin shots a day. My vet highly recommended Equipaws for pet sitting since they have expertise administering insulin. From the moment I met Flavia Berti I knew they were going to be great. My cat is shy and my other cat even more shy. Once we got my diabetic cat out from under the bed Flavia gave her so much love she won her over right away. Needless to say the week we were out Flavia did a magnificent job coming twice a day and giving her the insulin and taking care of my other indoor cat and my outdoor cats. She even won over my super shy male cat he was following her all over the house! I was amazed and my husband and I were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that our babies were well taken care of. I love these guys! When I get home from a trip, my place is super clean because they vacuum around the litter boxes in addition to scooping them, and they clean up any kitty-related messes. My cats are fed, given clean water, and played with. My plants are watered, too. In short, all of the important things are well-taken care of, giving me true peace of mind while I am gone. Lastly, they've been able to accommodate several last-minute requests for help so I could be with an out-of-state family member having health emergencies. Equipaws has been fantastic - reliable, friendly, and they really care about your pets. We have four cats (well, five, if you count the outdoor one) and a dog (a cardigan corgi), We're new in town, and had used the same pet service for ages back in Illinois, and were really nervous about finding a new service to pet sit our cats and to walk our dog. We've been really really happy with Flavia and her team - our corgi can be a bit of a handful and fearful of new people and they've been so good with him. We also had some problems with our keys and they went the extra mile to make sure that everything was corrected.
