While I've yet to use my credit I did go to Sunshine today on my own dime because I had a ton of laundry to do after my son's winter camp out, including a queen sized bedspread. I used one of the great big $6.00 machines and did a huge volume of colored stuff, and put all my whites into one of the $4.50 machines. The pluses are that their machines are fast, about 25 minutes per load. When I went in the place looked the same as before: It's immaculately clean, everything works, and there is plenty of space for people to work. There's no waiting for machines, even on a Sunday. I was glad because I was in a hurry, and I'm glad that I went back. Like I said, I HATE giving bad reviews... hate it, hate it, hate it. I'm glad to report I had a good experience there today.

They take quarters, tokens, and credit cards, but I found it confusing at first. It ate extra quarters because the detergent dispenser was messed up. My major concern is that there is a lot of deferred maintenance. I had a bedspread that required a 20 lb. washer. Of the 7 units, 4 were out of order. The other 3 were being used. I had to use a 30 pound washer and one of the other customers told me there are always units that need repair. The out of order sign was also evident on other size washers. Please step up the maintenance schedule.

I took the pickup receipt, and left excited because I knew they have always do their best. On Wednesday I took a call, it was Vogue, she said there were still stains and could they have one more day? SURE... (The Cap why didn't I just toss it? The Summer of '89 was interesting. I lived in the SF Bay Area, and to go watch a game simply took an easy hop on BART and go straight to the ballpark. I'm a baseball fan, and every game was fantastic, and plus my office was also across the freeway from the ballpark where the Oakland A's played. That hat was the last surviving souvenir from the year my two favorite teams Battled it out. Then there was an earthquake. ) I walked into VOGUE CLEANERS, the lady brought out the cap..... it was handed to me in clear display bag.... it was better than clean. It was Awesome, and an example of the dedication the team at Vogue is to their customers. That year an earthquake took center stage, and though Vogue had no idea of my history with the cap. I had 2 min left on my load and he was threatening me with calling the cops. For 2 minutes. There was a lot of big loader washers out of order and then after I loaded and started my laundry and was going to my car I noticed that a lot of the dryers are out of order as well. What the heck. They only stay open till 5 and have no change machine. You have to get quarters from the attendant. Boo won't be back.
