BUYERS BEWARE: 4/16/25 I went in to look at a truck after work. It was my first vehicle purchase and it drove relatively fine. The carfax said it was estimated more than the asking price so I was thinking it was a good deal! Turns out the back 3 cross members were completed rusted through, the back shocks were detached from the crossmembers due to how bad they were. Someone sprayed insulation foam inside of the crossmembers then spray painted it black so you couldn't tell from the wheel wells. I have a couple holes in my frame aswell I am having to address. Spent 16,800 on the truck and now im putting in roughly 4-6k to fix the bad frame spots and get new crossmembers welded on. That is not including the sandblasting that is required to remove any surface rust for the new undercoating. Most of their vehicles on the lost are completely rusted through... They perform 0 inspections and do not have a resident mechanic. As a first time car buyer they completely took advantage of me being naive and not asking the right questions. If you are looking at a vehicle on the lot please please please take it somewhere and have it lifted and inspected... Climb under it on the lot and check for rust. I tried to return it the next day and cancel the deal but the "owner" os the only one who can make those decisions. He bought my truck from New York from auction for pennys on the dollar and then proceeded to make thousands off of me. He never answered his phone or responded to any emails. DO NOT BUY HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE LITERALLY 0 options and even then go somewhere else. Just walking around the lot more the next day while trying to return it you could see probably 5 other teucks with complete rusted rocker panels and some being held together with bondo. They are dishonest and will take advantage of anyone interested. I mentioned my trade in has a clutch fan issue that needs addressed before it snaps the ac belt. They said they wont fix it but rather clean the inside and then upcharge what they bought it for. The owner Jacob Scott is a fire fighter but I wouldnt trust him with saving me from a fire considering he let me drive a death trap off the lot. Below are pictures of my shocks where they should of been attached to the frame. Greed is a sin and his day will come. IF YOU ARE READING THIS DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. IF YOU HAVE TO PLEASE CLIMB UNDER THE VEHICLE YOURSELF OR HAVE IT LIFTED AT A RESPECTABLE CAR REPAIR BUSINESS. Luckily I am in a good financial position where I clear his profits for the whole year in a couple months so I will be able to replace the frame next month. So I took to body shop he said frame was completely rusted out ,do not drive it! I called Primetime they said ITS NOT THEIR PROBLEM, CALL THE OWNER,so after numerous calls,texts,photos,NOTHING!! I told them just make it right,trade me for something I can drive! No response. I dint know how they can have a conscience knowing they are selling DANGEROUS cars to people. I would watch out for this dealer , The own is known to be called shady Jake around the firehouse. I bought a truck and a little over half hour later the transmission started to slip and torque converter rattled. Called him day after day. Would not answer. Got ahold of the lady in the office and she told me he said to use the warranty. In which i had to purchase after the truck problem had started .Transmission has to be replaced. He tells other firemen he sells cars broken then buys them back from people for less then puts them back on the lot broken and sells them again for the same price. I would give 0 stars. $15,000 truck and he wouldn't even call back to talk about it or try to make it right read more

Buyer Beware! I recently purchased my daughter's first car from Prime Time Auto Sales in Martinsville, IN. Six days later, with barely 200 miles on the vehicle, I must replace the entire engine. My daughter was driving to school when she lost the ability to accelerate, and the car became difficult to control. Fortunately, she avoided a head-on collision trying to get her car into a nearby parking lot. We then had the vehicle towed to a repair shop for a diagnosis. Several days later, I learned that the engine had suffered catastrophic engine failure, and I would now need to replace the entire engine. I have tried to contact the dealership via phone and email to discuss the situation. We are still waiting for a response. The engine replacement cost with labor, supplies, and the engine itself will be $5,256.85. This is nearly the cost of the original purchase price of the vehicle. I have always been a huge supporter of small business owners, and I try to do as much of my business with them, not the big corporate chains. They tend to be a part of the community and focus on customer service. Prime Time Auto Sales is the exact opposite of this. My suggestion, if you are looking to purchase a used vehicle, go somewhere else! The lack of integrity and customer service that Prime Time Auto Sales has displayed makes me wonder how many other buyers have had similar experiences. My ratings for this dealership are as follows: 1) Customer Service - Zero Stars 2) Honesty/Integrity - Zero Stars 3) After-Sale Services - Zero Stars In closing, my review aims to warn other potential customers. Imagine spending all your hard-earned money on a car that can no longer be driven. If I could report a zero, I absolutely would. They are dishonest, rude and unprofessional. I was working on a deal for almost 4 days. Struck a deal. Called and ask for the pay off went straight to the bank, got a phone call from prime auto sales saying they sold it. I was furious. I asked if they disclosed to the new owner what another mechanics diagnostics said. They said yes... they did not!!!! It was a $1500 fix. Awful place to go. Do not purchase a vehicle from this place! They sold me a car with a completely rusted out undercarriage. The exhaust had been recently replaced, so they KNEW the undercarriage was in an unfit condition. Estimates to fix it were 10K or more. I kindly requested that they refund the purchase, or offer a trade, both of which were declined. Lemon Laws in Indiana only apply to new cars, so I'm stuck with the vehicle. When you address the owner, Jacob, he acts like he cares but all he says is that you should have gotten the warranty. He truly doesn't care at all about his customers. Purchased a vehicle drove it 22 miles away and lost all the oil was told to take to mechanic Paid 200 $ to have it looked at. Aftermarket warranty said they would not pay. Dealership did fix one oil leak and patched the other. The car made it another 20 miles before the transmission start slipping and won't go to the next gear. I return to the dealership where the supervisor is unreachable for the next four days. I ask if there's anything they can do i.e. put me in another vehicle help me out salesman said there's nothing they can do. I then said, I guess I'll just have to get a lawyer he Hufflepuff to the back room brought out documents that stated as is I replied that's fine. It's not a safe car as I walked out. I also stated they don't care once you leave the lot salesman, then told me to leave and not to talk to his customers guess it's not America trying to leave while getting in the cursed at , he told me I was a B and to suck a D, then grabbed his hand gun and threatened to beat my A$$.all while his girlfriend was trying to meth mumble something. At that point I called the police. Of course he denies it. The cops are unable to do anything, unless they see the video from the cameras, the owner said he would check it out in a few days funny he could talk to them but not answer my phone calls, the police are well aware that he will delete any evidence. I'm writing this report tonight not only to worn customers, but just in case owners and managers want to know who they have working for them.
