Everything went fine until the (contract) installer came. On the quote I was charged $500 for floor and subfloor removal. The installer didn't know anything about it and then proceeded to argue that I would be opening a can of worms if they were to remove the flooring. After calls back to Breegle I did get him to remove the flooring but not the subfloor. As a result my kitchen floor is about 1&1/2" higher than the floor that butts up to it. Looks horrible and definitely a toe stubber! Not happy at all and when complained again all they said was "oh is it too high?". Duh!

I asked her if I did something to irritate her, she responded "I'm working on a different $7,300 job and you're bickering over $0.50." Actually, Gina, I'm bicker about your price being 30-40% more expensive that even a local competitor.
