Parking was $5 and the park was empty except for our party. The bridge provided covering from the rain and there were many picnic tables surrounding the park. The play structure is made out of trex building material and included LOTS of elements for our kids to play. Swing set, monkey bars, climbing rope, etc. the ground is squishy. There is a good amount of noise from the cars driving over the bridge overhead, but it was a sweet spot to eat lunch and let the kids work off some steam.

Each time I've been, the gate has been open and we walked right in. Other times, I believe they close the gate and you have to pay at the building. We had a particularly memorable experience yesterday walking down by the creek and saying hello to some geese and a duck tagging along. The path is really long and I've hardly had a chance to really explore it with my son: soon! For those who aren't a fan of a long walk, the playground is definitely one of the nicer new ones in town. Haven't tried the sprayground/splashground/w/e, but kids always look like they're having an awesome time over there! I feel a little odd making it a destination; the people of the community love this spot and there's no secret why. All are welcome for sure: just saying that I am glad to see that this gift was made to this community as well. After too many trips to the taco truck up the road, I just had to try it out with my son.
