Stayed here while solar panels were being installed on my son's house as it was too hot to be without electricity while work was being completed! I was pleasantly surprised at how updated and cute the hotel is. It's like a little baby apartment. Let's start with the good cause who doesn't like the good stuff, right? Upon entering the hotel you are greeted with a cute listing area in cause there's a line at registration.(thoughtful) but then there's the cutest little doggie area cause they allow pets here! Yeah for all those that travel with their fur babies. (Pic included) Then there's a larger guest eating area that include's a TV and fireplace. I noticed approx 30 tables so they can host quite a few families at a time for breakfast. Now I did touch and sit in or on every chair bench and stool. A few of them I didn't like they weren't that easy for smaller hands to grasp for moving and they are quite heavy which for kids, elderly or handicapped may have a bit of issue moving them, but also they are heavy so they'll last and won't easily break under a someone's heavyweight. Oh yeah did I forget to mention that breakfast is included! They offer a variety of items like oatmeal, waffles, fruits and other cold cereals. I seen eggs and sausage I think there was bacon as well. Outside area: They have included a pet area with at least 3 cleaning stations that all were filled with doggie bags and trash cans. They have a sister hotel on the grounds so parking shouldn't be an issue. They offer a parking permit for guests I seen a security guard walk and ride a cart around the property several times throughout the evening and night. I am unsure if this is a regular position or just temporary while they are remodeling, my hope is it's a permanent thing just because it's pretty dark and desolate with the other businesses mainly being day time traffic. They have a small pool, think of a big residential type which is fine (this isn't Vegas) depth ranged from 3.5-5.5 feet and that's really all that's need to cool off but what's nice is they included a lift so even a person with mobility issues can still enjoy. Now to the room. I love that they didn't go cheap. The amenities feel like someone said "make them feel at home" the cookware wasn't that cheap lightweight pot and pan it has weight it doesn't cook from raw to burnt and sticking like the .99$ store types do. The plates and silverware weren't so thin they break or bend in your hands. I think the only thing I didn't like in the room was the shower. And that is really because of the shower-head. I am just not a fan of the old fashioned fixed heads. It doesn't take in to account the height differences between male/female tall/short thin/heavy. I wish either two heads or removable shower-heads in all hotels that consider themselves a 3* or higher. And I thought the toilet paper roll wasn't in the best spot with the door open it's banging into the roll and I know it's my cra cra but it feels yucky like unsanitary icky. And I took a star for those two bathroom issues. I must admit this was a nice jewel to find in the area as I have stayed at another brand hotel out here 2x and this one far exceeded the luxury feeling for a regular buck scenario, and I appreciate it! I'd like to thank Mariana and the staff for being so caring and understanding of our situation!! They made an exception to their 2 dog policy knowing everything we just when through! SO this one had me again going back and forth between 3 and 4 stars. I eventually settled with 3 because of the general worn down feeling of this particular hotel and despite the excellent customer service. In particular when we traveled as a family we gravitated to Homewoods because of the amenties they offered. That is the rooms are mini studio apartments. It is not that we ever cooked, but rather the complementary dinner and a small kitchen / big fridge made stay so much more kid friendly. It is that family friendly concept that also may be the reason that this one looks in desperate need of renovation. First off the staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. It is a relief after a long day to check in without a hassle. That being said, this place is near a major sports venue and gets a ton of traffic. There were plenty of scratches in the cabinetry and floors as well as a general worn out feeling. The carpet was also dirty. That being said my room was clean even after our now standard wipe down. I think given its location a refreshing of the interior would go a long way. read more

Won't be staying here again. When we come out to work, we normally stay in Palmdale by the Embassy, but we decided to try something different. Tip: if somethings good, there's no reason to change it. This hotel has has a bunch of underlying issues since the time me and my work team stayed here. Originally there were 7 of us here. When first checking in more than half of our team had issues with their rooms; over booking where they were told to change rooms in the following days, a/c broken, elevators out of service, water pipe burst. From our 2 weeks here, 5 of our 7 team member swapped hotels within the first 4-5 days, the only reason I didn't was because I didn't feel it necessary to move if I was only there for another 3-4 days. There were issues with homeless people on premises after hours, liquor and beer bottles on property which hasn't been picked up at all since I staying here. The branches could be shortened in the back, cause everyone loves branches in the face while walking. There's just a bunch of little things that would of definitely improved our stay but next time I think we'll book with what we know. read more

Booked this hotel as I was in the area due to some car trouble, and would need to stay overnight. Full disclosure, I typically stay at Hilton properties, and do have an Honors status. The staff here were incredibly friendly, and were able to get me a room close to the entrances on the first floor (I had quite a few items that could not remain in the car overnight, so I was not looking forward to trucking up the elevator all the way to the back of the hotel). The room had ice cold AC and comfortable seating. The bed was very nice and I had a very restful sleep that night (thankful, given the events of that day!). Due to COVID19 precautions, the grab-and-go breakfast option was in place instead of the usual buffet. The bag breakfast consisted of a fruit, juice, pastry, and bottled water. Hot coffee was set up as well. I did not need housekeeping, but the room was clean on arrival and I only stayed for one night. Update: I had originally taken off one star as the lighting is a bit dim/amber and the decor seems a tad dated compared to other Homewood properties, but I added it back for the incredible staff and service. Two days after my stay, I noticed I was missing an item. I backtracked to the time I last had it out of my luggage, and realized I had to have left it at this hotel. I called the staff, and they made a note and would look for it the next day and ask the housekeeping staff if it was either still in the room (it was a charging station, could easily have been mistaken as a hotel property item, I suppose) or if it had been found. It was late evening, about 8-9pm, so that was acceptable. I got a call two days later that it was found and they would arrange shipping. They were able to charge the shipping to my card on file. I have not received it yet, but I am hopeful that it arrives! Either way, thank you for a great stay. read more

Pictures online are deceiving. It's dirty, moldy, bedding lacking mattress covers. Fold out couch bed is like sleeping on a chain link fence. Will not stay here again. Continental breakfast is ok. Was assigned this hotel through my insurance company due to a flood. On mother's day of 2022, my children came to visit and make the best of it at the hotel. This day was extremely windy and a tree uprooted and damaged the back of my sons car that was parked in the assigned lot. I immediately reported and filed a claim thinking they would take of it. The perfect, quiet hotel that resides off the beaten path. The Homewood Suites brand by Hilton, has always been a comfy favorite of mine. My husband and I checked in late on a Saturday night, the hotel wasn't packed and yes, there was plenty of parking in the front and rear of the hotel. We booked an adorable 1 King Bed Studio Suite. It has a full kitchen (like your usual suites) and pull out sofa. Bathroom and vanity was nice too. TV a bit small for my liking, and it didn't spin all the way to face the bed, so that was my only complaint. There wasn't much of a view, as we were situated on the first floor facing a desolate road, but that's okay - it was a super quiet room. Not too many families or vacationers from what I saw, mainly corporate guests or contractors maybe. Breakfast was a breeze to get to, didn't have to wait in any line or bump elbows with other guests, as long as you get there early (within the first hour) you should be good. Eggs, sausage patties, fruit, waffles, juices, coffee/tea, oatmeal, bagels, and toast. A good, simple breakfast! They have a Sport Court! A basketball court outside by the barbecue grills and swimming pool. That's awesome. Didn't shoot any hoops, but I thought it was neat. Also, didn't use the fitness center or pool. If I were to ever be in this area again, I would definitely stay here. read more

Booked this place through work mainly because it was close to my offsite job, offers breakfast and has a small kitchenette. The person who checked me in was not very informative she did not offer any information, which part of the hotel I can enter and exit, parking etc. My room was not clean to my standards you'll see the shower pic, Yuck! Kitchen needs a lil remodeling. My main concern was the person cleaning did not do a good job. I didn't have my Creamer's replaced and the trash can in the kitchen was way too small. If your going to have a kitchen to cook in have a trash can to accommodate. The hotel overall was very clean, the kitchen staff very friendly and helpful. The food was decent. The rest of hotel staff was friendly. For 180 a night I would expect more, Hilton needs to step it up. I would have given it 2 stars but since the hotel was clean overall and most of the staff was friendly they get 3. I really do not like giving this review, but being lied to by the Manager after I left my Anker upgraded phone charger in our room after we checked out, is not ok. I made several phone calls, after I realized I left it behind. I spoke to the manager, who assured me she would hold onto it until our next visit to the area. I since then have left several voice mail messages with no returned calls as well as recently spoke to the front desk, being told they no longer have my charging cable. Who has it then? It was a brand new cable. Certainly it was not tossed in the trash. Also there was apparent water damage on kitchen floor where the carpet in living area are attached. Two hotels side by side; Hampton Inn (HI) & Homewood Suites (HS) are owned by Hilton & are basically the same type of room. I stayed at both within the last yr. HS was definitely better because yu get a hot breakfast and reception dinner M-F. But the dinner will be gone and little meats/cheeses on wed only. I had stayed there this last weekend. Normally I love staying in this hotel and have stayed there multiple times, my last stay however left me disgusted and appalled and will never stay in this hotel again. Sunday as we were packing up I had my son bring me all the clothes from the closet. In the far back of the closet was a black plastic bag. Thinking we had forgotten something I had my son grab the bag for me. In this bag was a soiled diaper fecal matter. This diaper had been in the room all weekend with us. My clothes both clean and dirty were in the closet with this diaper. The blankets that I pulled out of the closet for my children to sleep with were in the same closet with this diaper. I am praying that myself or my family won't get sick. We informed hotel staff and I was told by manager Danielle that there was no proof of diaper and there's nothing that can be done about this. I have proof Pictures and my family was in the room upon discovery of diaper. I'm beginning to wonder what this hotels policy is on cleanliness. The windows were also filthy, and trash was spilt all over the back side of hotel with fecal matter by the trash. This hotel does not stand up to the Hilton name. This is the second time staying here. The rooms are not clean, the shower floor actually has black dirty streaks. There are many dirty places on the walls and places that could use a touch up. The front desk help was very nice and she is the reason this hotel gets any stars. This has been my worst physical hotel experience in a decade, and I've stayed in MANY Hilton's and other brands in my professional travel. I'm embarrassed this physical structure is labeled under the Hilton brand. Please note, the woman at the front desk was lovely, and there's nothing she could do about it. The infrastructure itself is cheap and unkempt. The walls are so thin that I could hear the full conversations and TVs of all rooms surrounding me.. all. Night. Long. The ceiling is so thin and components of fixtures so cheap that my whole ceiling rattled every time my poor neighbor upstairs crossed the floor, sounding like an animal. When I opened the cheap track closet door, the mirrored glass door fell down on me. The shower did not have a tub, but a nasty cream plastic basin with mildew in all of the crevices. The water got so hot that I burned my hand in the sink the first time I let it run too long. The dresser had a strip of its fake veneer torn off, showing the corrugated material of all the furniture underneath. The guest office chair is cheap and uncomfortable. The desk lamp completely missing its shade with a terrible LED lamp exposed. Cheap sunbeam blow dryer that destroys your hair. No wine glasses available, which is just more of a nuisance since I drove here from wine country. And lastly, the one that bothered me the most - my windows have clearly been broken into here on the first floor in the past, and they have not been replaced. The windows were cock-eyed when I checked them, and neither were locked. They can't effectively lock in fact, because the pockets in which the lock tabs must seat have been unmistakably cracked off in a former break-in. For those looking for the classic Homewood Suites experience, keep moving. No lodge feeling and no warmth in either the public areas or the rooms. Feels more like a dormitory. Upon arriving I got hassle that my room wasn't available until it was. No recognition for being a Hilton Diamond member behind a hand wrapped baggy containing five Hershey's kisses. The room was large and decently furnished. Good size TV in the living room and a comfy chair. Same size TV in the bedroom. Undersized bathroom vanity and shower and a tiny closet. Room was clean though throughout my stay. Breakfast selections are fewer than other Homewoods and only one urn of regular coffee that runs out quick. I'm thankful to have survived the one happy hour I dared attend because it was Greek night and the meat for the gyros (yum!) was almost completely raw (eew!) Not a well maintained property. The hook for a travel bag on the bathroom door came flying off. The door itself looked like it had been planed and not repainted. When looking for the property you can't miss it. It's the hotel with the Homewood Suites sign burned out. read more

The rooms are nice and modern. The lobby is open and breakfast is the same as other homewood's. The staff is nice specially the food staff and housekeeping. The front desk girls seem to be bored and non-responsive. I had trouble with my room door not unlocking from the inside where I was stuck inside the room. I finally figured it out by prying open the locking mechanism and told the front desk. They didn't do anything about and left it as is. So there you go. I've stayed here twice now, for a lengthy bit of time for work, and have nothing negative to say. The staff- amazing! The accommodations- top notch! This place goes out of its way to make you feel welcome and "at home". Having a kitchen is an added bonus to the free dinner (with complimentary beer/wine) provided Mon-Thurs, and free full breakfast every day of the week. To boot, they provide free access to Monster gym, which is in the next parking lot over, if you're not satisfied with their workout room on location. They pay a $100 pet fee no matter the length of time you stay, which was about the same price as the damn hotel stay! We checked in after 9 pm and left before 7 am. So, we paid roughly $10 an hour for our dog to SLEEP in a room on top of our flipping amount we already paid. Also, the customer service was awful. One girl kept giving us key cards that only worked once or twice before deactivating. There was no manager on staff to help us when we needed it, as well. Awful place. Stay away. read more

Due to water damage at our home our family was placed here for temporarily living arrangements by our homeowners insurance while our home was repaired.the room was dirty and not cleaned well with one towel and since we had two rooms my adult daughters room was next to us and the kitchenette was dirty with dirty dishes in dishwasher and a table that some else just ate on and it had a awful smell in the room later we found a bag of trash stuffed in the closet.On a trip to retrieve more towels there was a homeless person asleep blocking the exit but moved when the door jarred him awake.my daughter had a guitar that fell against the wall and put a hole in it so when I called the front desk to report it there was no answer. I then went up front and was informed the person to report it to was not there and it would have to wait till morning but I leave for work at 4AM. Later that afternoon I received a call from the placement service that management wanted us to leave. I explained to them to get ahold of Hotel manager to find out what was going on and realized the cleaning crew may have found the hole and thought something else may have happened. I offered to pay for the damage and they said it wouldn't be necessary.. They just wanted us to leave and we were relocated closeby but to such a nicer place and very hospitable and caring staff. two days later, I saw a charge on our card. We didn't recognize and noticed it was from the Hilton when I offered to pay for it there was no response, but they just took the money right out of my account without permission. They also kept the deposit so with the bad management there I suggest you look a little closer at the supposedly hi class name of Hilton very closely and go somewhere else. Many years ago this had happened while our family visited the Plaza Hotel New York.My elderly fathers wheelchair handle, bumped against the wall and put a hole in it. We offered to pay at that time, and my dad went upfront and insisted to pay and they said no problem. We will take care of it. You are our guest besides it was just an accident. you can't compare the quality in high class between these two hotels because although very expensive, it was one of the best experiences we ever had in New York at the plaza hotel. So buyer beware it's your right. Great staff! They really do bring allot of light and life to this place. Everyone, from the front desk, which includes Gladys, Bryanna, John, Bob, Anthony, Adriana, Andrea (Only to name a few) to the kitchen staff and especially Jordan and Sam (the maintenance tech guys) have all contributed to a very much satisfied stay here at the Homewood! They really do make you feel like family here and I would definitely recommend this beautiful place to anyone looking to relax and unwind. Great Location too! Right across the street from the JetHawks stadium (which means firework shows) and a state of the art movie theater, Cinemark 22, everything you need is within walking distance and let's not forget the pink lemonade and fresh cookies available in the lobby. My family and I have spent many nights at different Hilton Hotels, as well as other Homewood Suites in other locations. We have always been impressed with the room and the hotels in general. That is, until our most recent stay at the Homewood Suites in Lancaster, CA. We were first surprised at the almost $200 rate. However, it was last minute and needed to stay overnight. Having a history with Hilton made us confident that we would "get what we were paying for" and this would be a great hotel. We were wrong. The following is a list of things we felt were unacceptable. Upon entering the room, our 10 year old son entered the bathroom and immediately brought to our attention, a 2 piece swimsuit hanging from the shower rod. I found a large "dust bunny" on the top of the picture hanging in the bathroom which then led to looking and finding large amounts of dust on top of anything hanging. This is what we found within the first two minutes in the room after traveling in a car with 3 kids for 8 hours. We went to put our food and drinks in the fridge to keep them cold. Upon opening the freezer, we noticed a dirty ice box and dirty tape stuck to the ice box. We were very tired and went to bed, having been driving all day and just wanted to put this day behind us. Our daughter was in the second bed in the bedroom. We awoke early to her showing us a piece of paper with tape on it that she found IN the "clean" bed that she had slept in. Upon heading to breakfast, we noticed the living room area, where our son had slept, was warm and humid. We set the air conditioner to a lower setting and left. Upon returning, the air conditioner was still putting out warm air. We set it lower, turned it off and back on and it still put out nothing but warm humid air. The shower. Where to begin. There was mold in the corners that someone tried to cover up with caulking. There was a soap dish that pas pulled off the wall and caulking left in the corner. If you need to fix it, do it right. Smooth the caulking out on the seams. The Homewood Suites is a top tier hotel and work done in the hotel should reflect that. The tub spigot did not even meet the wall, leaving half an inch between the wall and the spigot. I pulled out the iron to iron my clothing that morning. The ironing board was dirty and the cover was coming off and the face of the iron was filthy (looked like someone had melted plastic on it), as well and the "stuff" it was spitting out through the steam vents. I had to have my clothing dry cleaned after this event. We called the front desk for a new iron. All of these items are definitely not up to the Hilton standards we have come to expect. We will be traveling to Lancaster a few times each year to attend conferences. This stay has crossed the Homewood Suites off our list as well as others that we know of places to stay. I would not recommend this hotel to other couples/families who will be visiting as well. I have photos but am unable to post them! read more

This was my first time staying at a Homewood Suites, we were greeted as soon as we walked in. We had gotten there earlier than check in time (we got there at 10:30pm) the room wasn't ready yet. So we decided to hangout by the pool, we didn't have a bathing suits but WalMart and Burlington was literally 3 mins away ! SCORE! They were able to give us a pool key while we waited for our room. It was hot outside and the pool was a little cool so it was perfect. They also have coffee with flavored creamers all day in the lobby along with water. Our room was ready a lot sooner than expect about 12:45pm. The room was a lot more spacious than I expected, everything was nice and clean. Living area with pull out couch, kitchen, 2 queen beds and pretty spacious bathroom. I also loved the shampoo/soaps/lotions were all Neutrogena. Breakfast was a big hit with the family. Business and Government beware. This place will try to bill you AND your company for the same stay. It happened to me AND my coworker on various dates. My government agency pre-pays our stays. This hotel insists on your personal credit card for "incidentals". I have pressed the point with staff, but they are trained to get your personal credit card. Even if you don't want the incidentals! Upon check out, YOU are billed for the stay when the agency has already paid. That is called a Theft! It happens all the time! It has even become sort of a joke around the office...."oh, they got you too huh?" When the manager got around to calling me back...about a day later...all she said is she would reverse the charge when she had time. Someone is banking some big money! read more

So disappointed. We booked our room and pre-payed well in advance. Upon our arrival, the person at the front desk informed us she had a note from the manager, Jason Honeycutt, that the room type we had reserved was not available. As a party of four, having only one bed in the room was obviously a problem. I asked how this could possibly be and, after a bit of pressure, the clerk admitted the manager had, despite our reservation, given the room to another guest who had more Hilton Points than our family. We had to cram four of us into a single king room with a pullout couch bed. Yes, they offered to put us into another hotel but would only cover the first night and we would have to switch back the next day. I asked to speak to the manager but was informed the manager had left for the night. I requested that the manager contact me the next day to explain the situation and make it right. Jason never made contact and a second request was ignored as well. Hotels overbooking is a reality and, once in a while, a problem like this will happen. This could have been handled with a bit of personal attention and customer service. However, Jason's negligent behavior and disregard for customer service has turned this into a situation where my family nor any of my employees will make a Hilton property a first choice when we travel. I encourage any of you reading this to not stay at a Hilton property, and at the very least, avoid the Homewood Suites in Lancaster. read more

Six workers who sit in the front a do nothing all day. AC not working well, if at all, no towels in the lobby restroom to dry your hands. Only ine fan to service entire place. Oh and they mop right when it's lunch time in and people are walking around, and ask you to move. Cleaning up the meeting room for day two, nope food still on floor. This is not a hotel, this is some random desert pit stop and no city minded idea of service or upkeep. Sure to close down soon with this high of a payroll for no service at all. Not to mention the roach in the room. Very very unhappy with this place, really shocked how little they care. So not like a hotel. read more

Coming in the staff is nice but they don't really clean the rooms unless you have to tell them in specific detail what you need. I had to go get toilet paper, towels and for the staff to vacuum the rooms. I clearly here for a month so after a week you should kinda know what to stock up. 2 stars. They offered me a Studio King, thinking my room will be like any room that's compact/small. But when I opened the doors, I did not expect to see a living room with a couch that pulls out to another sleeping area & a decent sized full kitchen. The room was very clean. The Customer Service is Excellent, Complimentary Breakfast & Dinner is what topped the stay. The downfall is parking but for a safe place to stay with all the amenities, it's worth the walk for a great stay. I would highly recommend. read more
