The hotel itself is beautiful and located in a great area. The property is clean, well-maintained, and has a welcoming atmosphere, which made for a pleasant stay overall. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk staff did not match the quality of the hotel. When I arrived, the employees were sitting in chairs and did not greet me or acknowledge my presence in a professional or welcoming manner. A warm greeting and attentive customer service are some of the first impressions guests receive, and I felt that was lacking during check-in. I believe the front desk staff could benefit from improving their professionalism, hospitality, and guest engagement. A simple smile, standing to greet guests, and providing a friendly welcome would make a significant difference. This hotel has a lot of potential, and with better customer service at the front desk, the overall guest experience would be much more enjoyable. read more

I want to love this place but.... Location, safety, and customer care is just lacking. One of our cars got broken into. It's parked right by the pool near the front. When we spoke to the front desk staff, they said this particular property is not responsible for the vehicles parked on the property. When inquiring about their overall safety protocol or even cameras on the property to assist us in filling a police report - they simply said the policy is written on the back of their cards or whatnot. Referencing again, they are not liable. They also noted that another guest's car was broken into and ransacked YESTERDAY night already. (You would think they would take immediate action of some sort.) Not reassuring since this is a repeated crime that occurred on their property - regardless of their disclaimer. I get why they have a disclaimer but it sounds like it's just protecting their own interest rather the safety and comfort of their guest. Unfortunately, because it's already 1:30am in the morning, we will stay as we have no where else to go. However, sharing this here so people are aware this property does not care of the well-being of their guest's vehicle. There is no security or gated parking (like some other Hilton locations). Noticing now, the property is also poorly lit at night. Looking around, no security cameras and not enough staffing to " keep an eye out". Will not recommend stay unless you do not care for your own property and safety is not a priority. Our comfort and sense of safety is surely shaken. Hilton's mission statement notes it wants..."to be the most hospitable company in the world" and they do so "by creating heartfelt experiences for guests" - well, having a sense of safety and wellbeing stripped for MY stay sure created a heart "felt" experience, truly one remarkable night that provides anxiety and uncertainty. read more

We had to wait an extra hour after we were told check in was at three. The mobile key was not working. The hotel still seems to be under construction for renovation's. The weekend continental breakfast didn't start until 7 (M-F starts at 6:00) maybe start it at 6 and extend it a bit for those who travel here for other trips like athletic tournaments. I gave it two stars because the Room was clean and supplies were good. The keurig in the room didn't work, the TV had a lot of channels to offer, but was small and wasn't a smart TV. read more

Stayed here overnight on a Wednesday and was shocked at the price ($250) for one night in the AV?! I could have stayed in Valencia for a more reasonable price...arrived late at night and check-in was quick. Walked into my room and it reeked of sulfur smell. Despite my room being quite nice and spacious, there was no way I could stay in there. When I called the front desk and asked what was going on with the smell of the room, her response was, "um to be honest with you, no one has told me anything..." what does that even mean? She said, "to be honest with you," multiple times in trying to somehow explain...then she offered a different room which I asked to look at prior to agreeing to switch and was able to do so. Luckily the room didn't smell but the AC wasn't fully working. It was a cool night so it worked out but I had to walk through a soaking wet carpet right in front of my room that was still wet the next morning. The bed was comfortable though and I slept well. The one positive note was the breakfast crew was very friendly and helpful. I ordered their scrambled egg breakfast which comes with a choice of meat and potatoes. I told them I'd like the scrambled egg breakfast with bacon...they took that as I only wanted those items so I had to ask where the potatoes were when they brought out the food. I thought that was odd when you have a menu and certain foods come with the meal that they expect you to ask for the foods that come with it I guess? Either way they brought out the plate of like 8 small pieces of potato lol read more

First time visit here. Location was good for us. I reserved online and requested a top floor room. That went perfectly and a top floor room was provided for us. Parking was good. The hotel was clean and nice. We reserved a King Suite and it was very large, more so than expected. There was more or less no one at the front counter when we walked by during our stay, not that we needed anyone but? Oddly, no continental breakfast available despite most or all others in this hotel class in the area offering it. This property only offers an onsite "restaurant" which from the looks, is little more than a pay-for continental offering. Hmm. The Hilton app worked super well. I was able to check in, unlock our room and check out without interacting with the desk. The wife thought the room was a bit outdated. I thought it was fine enough. Your mileage may vary. That said, we did experience some issues. The bathroom toilets have some sort of turbo flushing mechanism. Be sure your clothes are on tightly and you don't lean in too closely! You might get sucked down! And they are noisy! We quickly decided not to flush at night so as not to wake each other up! I looked under the toilet "hood" and have never seen that sort of mechanism before. My recommendation to the hotel is to get something quieter! Also, the ensuite bathroom door was sqeaky as hell! We repeatedly woke each other up at night when nature called. Some WD-40 or other lubricant is in order in Room 415! How did the maids miss this? And we noted there is no light in the shower It is quite dark in there! Not all hotels have a light in the shower but in this case, it was pretty darned dark! Lastly, the HVAC in the bedroom... Well, actually, also the one in the main room too... The control panel on the units themselves are deactivated and only controllable via the thermostats. Fine enough. But uh, they are set to have the fans on HIGH. In the bedroom, the unit is right next to the bed and loud as heck! It woke us up repeatedly the first night. On the second night, we turned it off and warmed the room via the main room's HVAC instead. I recommend to the hotel that they address this. Having the ability to put the fan on low (which would lower the noise) would be VERY helpful. I guess I would also mention that the couch in the main room was uncomfortable as heck. It was either fully worn out or a cheapo from somewhere. I'm not expecting a high end couch but this is a Hilton. I wouldn't expect back pain sitting there. Price is plenty low but Hilton could perhaps so some things here to improve the property. read more

The hotel staff are friendly and the hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. I like that the room came with a fridge and microwave which came in handy. I also like that they used neutrogena products. You do have to pay for parking and have a permit. There are signs in the lot not to leave valuables which was worrisome, but my car was fine. The price is also decent compared to what you'd pay for in Burbank or LA, and way more affordable. You can also earn Hilton points. I wish the front desk let me know that so I could've signed up earlier. I will definitely stay here again next time. read more

I love my stay so far at this fine establishment. First impression --the lobby. Interior decoration at its peak. I felt like i wasn't in palmdale anymore. The staff was superb Jennifer was my main POC and may i say, where did they find this girl? Professional, curtíos, smart, thoughtful, diligent, adept, pretty, and commanded respect. If she isn't a manager within the next year then Hilton is snoozing on a gold mine of revenue. My room was clean and comfy. The pool was great. Looking forward to dinner. I do hospitality gigs all over the Southwest and West coast. Sometimes, in between gigs, I live on the road. And sometimes I splurge and treat myself to a hotel, willing to pay a bit more for what I'd expect. I did that here and I regret not just going to the Holiday Inn or somewhere less expensive. I ordered a breakfast upon checkin for following day. They apparently never got my order in. This was the main reason I came (I saw rave reviews about the breakfast). Staff was unhelpful and didn't seem to care at all. So no breakfast. Mattress was super soft and sinking (maybe just really old?) so woke up with neck and back pain. Decor is outdated. The carpets are so gross. They are torn apart and lumpy everywhere. Soundproofing is horrible. Kept hearing people slam doors and walk past my room at all hours. Heard someone fart as I passed their room! Hahaha like wtf??? Gotta give it to the housekeepers though. The one thing I loved was the cleanliness. That goes a long way and they obviously make this place. Otherwise, it'd be an absolute dumpster fire of a hotel. read more

The event manager, Nora, is the BEST. I had my retirement celebration here. I am SO glad I chose this hotel. First of all, meeting with Nora I was sold. She is nice, helpful, patient, and accommodating. I put a deposit down right away . She communicates with you, meets with you when you need it, and she is so helpful all with a beautiful smile and sweet spirit. The event staff was AMAZING too in setting up and serving the guest. I honestly wanted to love this hotel but I did not enjoy my stay. The staff depending on whoever is working that day is very rude with a "well what do you want me to do" attitude over the phone. If you're in one of the rooms calling the front desk, they hurry up to rush you off the phone won't even let you get a word out also found baby roaches coming out out of the whirlpool jets tub in room 106. Also seen after night 2 it had blood on a pillow that was strategically placed behind the rest of the pillows so I have to assume they don't wash their bedding as well. Dirty pad under the bed under the head board on the floor( was too disgusted to take a picture, and housekeeping would not come to take care of it and also wouldn't bring me tissue as well as come, take out the trash. Food is great though and the manager is lovely but all in all I would recommend the Hamptons down the street before this place. Please do better than me and check everything before actually laying down in the beds here. Manager did apologize and helped me with a resolution so I appreciate that but probably won't come here ever again. The desk clerk Jennifer was extremely helpful. She was willing to play the role like she was checking me in just so that my husband wouldn't recognize that I already been to the room. Second stay here, very nice hotel. Great location near the mall (in the same ring) near restaurants and the movie theatre. Only issue with our room was it was right next to the A/C condenser (on the roof) that meant ice cold A/C but a little noisy. Comfortable beds and linens, good water pressure in the shower. Overall hotel was decent, just beware that if you accidentally leave something behind the staff here are dishonest and do not turn in belonging that are accidentally left behind. I accidentally left my engagement ring and wedding band behind and they were NOT turned into lost& found, hence whoever cleaned the room kept them. Very upsetting because the rings hold sentimental value more than anything. Just a cautionary tale for all, also lots of extra fees once you check in. read more

I wish it was longer:-) The hotel lobby is Gorgeous. I stayed on the 3rd floor and getting off the elevators and looking down to the ground, the carpet was sheer elegance, beautiful designs. This hotel is SPOTLESS from the lobby all the way to the rooms. Hilton, your Palmdale location is exquisite. They also serve breakfast from 6am-10am. Only $10.99. Trust me it's worth it. The clerk at the front desk was very friendly and courteous. They made me feel right at home. If you're ever in the Palmdale area and need a place to stay, the Hilton Inn is your home away from home. i needed to stay in the area for some personal business. I saw the reviews of other joints, and was kinda of scared of the antelope valley. This place had decent reviews, it was ok, i wouldnt hesitate to stay there again. Something a little wierd when i checked in...im a hilton club (or whatever its called) member so i go free breakfast...other people didnt have brefis included, so it seemed kind of odd, but whatever. It llooks presentable in the lobby, and from the outside. i got up to the 4th floor, and was dissapointed. The ice machine was broken, and the hallway stunk like sewage...ick...was the negative hype real? inside the room, it was FINE. it was perfumed to mask the smell from the hallway, and the door well insulated, no problem with the smell. The hvac wasnt controlled by the thermostat, you had to do it from the mini split unit itself, it was fine, it worked well, no problems. The room was clean enough, the tv had plent of chanels, bathroom up to snuff, no mold in the corners, no bed bugs, ok, not bad. First morning i got breakfast, i was supposed to get eggs/ hashbrown and bacon. I never go the hashbrowns. The bacon was paper thin, i had never got bacon like that. It was also befuddling how bacon so thin, could have so much grease. it was edible, and slightly tastless, but it fixed my hunger problem. The next morning the breakfast was closed WTF...i had to get a continental "breakfast" on what continent is cereal and a bagel good enough for breakfast. Something odd a realtor pointed out about the antelope valley, is that there is plent of parking. There seemed to be as many cars as in los angeles, but its true, plenty of parking, i had no problem parking pretty close to the front door, no issues with car getting scratched or broken into or anything. The coffee in the lobby was cold, and they never had enogh regular sugar, just the nasty diet sugars...wtf again, i was hoping to use the treadmilll in the exercise room but i was busted, they had a couple of cycles, but nah, and they had no weights. Overall, some issues, but nothing major that would make me not want to stay here again. recommend. read more

3/23/2019 Front desk staff was nice and courteous, check in was smooth. No problem using a different credit card from the one I used for reservation. Parking lot is spacious, no problem finding a space. Elevator worked fine and clean inside. The key card worked fine on the doors. The bed was comfortable, room was clean , convenient having a microwave and the fridge. Love having a bathtub to take a bath in. Hot tub outside was sooo nice, the jets were so powerful. They have towels by the pool. Very relaxing and comfortable stay. Would stay here again. It's right next to or rather , in the same property as Antelope Valley Mall and the movie theater which is so great because there's tons of restaurants nearby, Yard House, Chili 's, BJ Brewhouse, El Torito, Denny's, Firehouse, Chipotle's, Dickies, Outback's steakhouse, etc... read more

It's a great location when you are in the area and especially for visiting the Reagan Library (which we did). It's not too far from the library and also close enough to the LA area. Travel tip: when driving in from Vegas, it's best to go through the main freeways (I-15 and I-210 and back to the I-14) instead going the back routes via CA-138. Although google maps will recommend that you do this, it's very confusing and it doesn't account for road detours which you may encounter. The hotel meets the Hilton Garden Inn standards and expectations. Note that the location is next to a circular shopping mall and at times gets confusing to find your way back. Thank God for GPS. Easy access to the I-14 freeway. The lobby area is well kept and offers coffee, tea, and fruit infused water for the whole day, this is a big plus. read more

This is my home away from home. I had an emergency and needed a long term stay and I stayed with these guys for three weeks. Because of COVID, they weren't doing daily room service but I was able to request room service anytime I liked. The property is very well maintained. The breakfast was delicious but you have to try the chicken wings at night. The entire staff was courteous and very accommodating. I now live in the area and I like this property so much that sometimes on the weekend I check in just so that my grand babies can enjoy the pool. read more

We reserved for 1-night and was placed in Room 221. When we turned all devices off to go to bed around 11pm there was a loud sound coming from what we thought was the adjacent room. Could not figure out where the noise was coming from. We figured that since the side of this room is adjacent to the elevator once the TV is off and the room is quiet each time someone enters the elevator the noise from the elevator going up and down is LOUD! This was supposed to be a one-night get away but was a nightmare! The roaring sound from the elevator was a problem that kept us up all night! DO NOT LET THEM PUT YOU IN ROOM 221!! read more

Still, whenever shooting in my outdoor studio in Littlerock, CA, I have my artists and crew and workshop attendants staying there. The price of the room was double because there was a softball tournament happening in town. The pool was cloudy and nasty looking as there was a lot of people using it, but if hotels in Vegas can keep their pools sparkling, why can't this place? The ice machines on every floor but one were out of order. We were looking forward to the complimentary buffet breakfast but they were out of sausage AND bacon both Saturday and Sunday mornings as well as hash browns and orange juice on Sunday morning. They knew it was going to be a busy weekend as they were almost completely booked, but obviously didn't prepare for it. Oh, and the elevators... some people got stuck in one on Saturday morning, fire dept had to come rescue them. That elevator was shut down the rest of the weekend. The remaining working one was not ventilated, slower than molasses and always stunk like something died in it. All in all, pretty disappointed with this place considering it has 4 stars and we paid $250/night. read more

What an amazing job to the desk receptionist all the women were so sweet and we had a young gentleman with curly hair and braces so sweet and funny so helpful and the bar tender at night then we woke up and went down to the dining room where we were greeted with amazing kitchen staff so kind and inviting got to order fresh breakfast along with fruit, bakery items , coffee tea , juices ,, I was blown away by how nice it was and fresh and clean, they offered more then the embassy suites did they had a little pantry store that was fully stocked with emergency items snacks and beverages... soooo awesome our room had a whirlpool in it so we could relax and watch tv at the same time , perfect birthday getaway !!!!! read more

Nice little hotel but have to complain about the kitchen. I sent back my ribs - old, chewy and the sauce was horrible. Staff didn't seem to care about my complaints. Edit: breakfast sucks too, the beds are way too hard and pillows feel like they consist of rolled up towels. The little crib given to us for the baby was way too small and kept him away all the time. And he screamed a lot. Turns out there's a part on the bottom that hurts the baby!!! You can't give that to your guests! Have you even tested that stuff? If this is how easily Hilton attaches his name to hotels, they've come a long way from "I want the moon!" (See Mad Men). Totally no consistency in their offerings. read more
