I was never told that when I called and took my 6 year old in for an assesssment, which was a complete waste of time. I felt they were not upfront (or nice about it either). With school now out I was looking for reading help for the summer for my son for 2 -3 months and was told they don't do that. I had read great reviews about Kumon and especially this location and thought this would be a great place for my son. I was sadly disappointed. Not impressed with this place.

She has also gained more confidence, her instructor is very positive and encouraging. They are extremely flexible with hours/scheduling. I can always text them for a quick and easy communication rather than calling and playing phone tag. After every session I get an e-mail with notes from her instructor sharing what they covered in the lesson and how it went with a list of things she did well and things she can continue to practice. Also, the sessions are easy to use and set up, it's just a link to click in an e-mail instead of downloading or installing Zoom or any other platform on the device. If I want them to cover any specific homework assignment, workbook, skill or even state testing practice they incorporate that into the session for us. I would highly recommend them!

My son used to love school and love math. He excelled in it until he got a teacher who completely destroyed his self confidence which resulted in him developing a fear and unworthiness. It was awful. He started having a real emotional and physical reaction when it came time to do math and math homework so he just gave up. Instead of his teacher helping him, she reprimanded him which only made it worse. I found Mathnasium wth the hope they would find a way to connect with my child and give him the confidence he needed to shine again. I expected it to take some time but literally after the first session, his little spark was reignited into a flame that has been glowing ever since. As I stepped foot back at this school, I noticed that they are renovating a few buildings. Im sure with years passing by, things have changed. The school is modernized and continues to get updated with construction all over the campus. I've had good luck overall when i had to speak to counselors in the past and they even offered video visits(unsure if they still do so) greast school to kick start off your pre reqs if you cant afford university, try here first then transfer out. Parking lots have a kiosk to pay and they have a couple of lots surrounding the campus as well as street parking and metro near by.
