I love the floor and decor - it really is very home-y. The complex itself is very green and lush. Neighbors, when we see them, are friendly but generally keep to themselves. It's usually pretty quiet and some of the neighbors apparently also cook, so each evening it smells great outside. The pool is just outside of the patio and the laundry room is very close. (We planted some flowers outside so if you're here, please water them, and use the basil and stevia! :) Apartment location is great. You can walk down the magnolia tree-lined street to a good Chinese restaurant around the corner. There's also a 7-11, laundromat and, a little farther (but still walkable), a huge shopping center with everything from Kohl's to Sprouts, Whole Foods, more restaurants, bank, etc. Lots of people here ride bicycles, and there's a foot/bike path in the neighborhood that has a very pretty short cut to Palo Alto. A quick car or bike ride will get you to downtown Mountain View with lots to do and places to eat. We feel very fortunate to have found the Flat and new friends in Rambo and his family. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place in Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Los Altos or Palo Alto!

Today, two of us were walking through chatting, and a Meadows property manager/worker yelled at us from across the parking lot, maybe 40 yards away, asking who we were. Thinking he had mental issues or a salesman, we kept walking. He then approached and harassed us, screaming about how we were trespassing, continuing verbal abuse and harassment and followed us until we left the property. We talked quietly, did not approach anyone, hang door tags, play music, or toss trash. We didn't go into the center apartment area. We're both computer professionals. This employee could have gotten on his golf cart and quietly told us sorry we cannot walk thru his parking lot and to kindly exit the premises. Instead, he chose to yell threateningly across a parking lot and come after us with verbal abuse. A good way to judge apartment management is how they treat visitors. Because as residents, you're going to get more of that - or worse. Stay away from this complex.

The location was unbeatable since everything we had planned was on Santana Row. Restaurants, shopping, Westfield Valley Fair, and the Winchester Mystery House were all within easy walking distance. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the property was beautiful, and the complimentary sangria at check-in was a nice touch. The bed was also one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in. Just be aware that this is an upscale hotel with upscale fees. Early check-in before 10 am is $100, early check-in by 1 pm is $60, and valet parking is $60 per day with in-and-out privileges. We arrived around 9:30 am but decided to wait until check-in since the early check-in fee wasn't worth it for us. We came back around 2 pm and were pleasantly surprised they checked us in at no extra charge. We also skipped valet and parked in one of the nearby garages for about $15 per day. We'd definitely stay here again and next time book a longer stay to enjoy it even more.

Have fun and celebrate. And my husband made that bartender apologize to my sister is the one that told her to get off her boyfriends lap .
