The one star was for the good set up of tables, tablecloths, and bartending service we had on our wedding. Communication with Teanna was prompt. At times she was rude, but I figured it was due to being busy. The taco bar and steak were the only food everyone loved. I shy away from writing bad reviews of businesses but for the very expensive cost of the catering and terrible food I had to write a review. The baked salmon was horrible. It seemed like they used frozen salmon. It wasn't seasoned good either! It was supposed to be with lemon and mayo with some seasonings, but it only had salt and pepper on top of the salmon. The asparagus and other veggies were soggy. It seemed again like it was frozen veggies that were used. The fruits were not fresh. They were prepped more than a day or so old. The presentation of the fruit tower was terrible! My husband and I are big foodies and the food was a total disappointment to us. Really felt like money was wasted. We were also told the staff was rude to our guests. The leftover food was taken by us and some families, but were not eaten 'cause of how badly it tasted. I wish I listened to my husband to search for more catering company before deciding on this one.

The Grand Hall would host approx 200 people during current COVID restrictions, otherwise up to 400. Custodial, tables/chairs, linens and some centerpieces would be included, making this venue more coordinated and less stressful than some of the other venues I looked at in terms of planning. The in house catering for the grand hall was the only reason for not choosing the venue due to concerns of the caterer and certain Asian dishes we wanted for our wedding. Ashley, the event coordinator gave me a tour, invited me to the tasting and well followed up with me. She is a warm and friendly person to talk with. I've had struggles with other venues in trying to get them to even respond and response with other venues generally took days if not weeks. Ashley is quick to respond and thoroughly answers all of your questions. I very much appreciated her.

Set up was efficient and lovely! However..... I hired Ty for two events - a birthday party and to cater our anniversary dinner two months later (my husband had surgery and was unable to go out and we live in a rural area with few options so I thought this would be a fun treat). Birthday was great and guests raved about the food! Unfortunately the anniversary dinner did not go well. I had made a deposit to reserve the date (which was in December) and we put in our food orders. We had some difficulty communicating in the week leading up to the dinner. The day of the dinner arrived and when I reached out to confirm the time, I was told that Ty had already sent his staff home and he would be unable to cater our dinner. This was a dinner for 3 people - which could easily be made by one person - an entire staff was not needed. So our anniversary was ruined and I was stuck in exactly the position I didn't want to be in - working all day, coming home, and picking up something quick from a fast food restaurant. After the first event had gone so well, I did not expect the second event to be so problematic. When I connected with Ty later, he also mentioned that he was having supplier issues due to the recent flooding, which I completely understand, but then tell me that so we can change our order. But to leave me hanging was very disappointing. And I never got my deposit back. That was my experience - which were very different from the first to the second.
