Hire this caterer! Sweetie and Julie were a pleasure to work with and delivered everything on time. All of our Seattle Children's volunteers absolutely loved the food. Two of the sweetest owners. My friend had their items a number of times at some vendor markets she had been to in Renton. I had been wanting to order fir awhile but timing didn't work out. I was finally able to attend a pop up they fid at Macadons in Renton with the friend that told me about them. I'm a savory person at heart so I pre ordered the curry chicken pie and the bulgogi shepherd's pie along with one pineapple hand pie. My friend said their pastry do was good which is what sold me. But wow the flavors are delicious on top of that!! I actually ended up picking up another pineapple hand pie and a butter mochi the day of. Dad and I throughly enjoyed the savory pies for lunch the curry part of the pie is similar to Japanese curry that I grew up eating so very nostalgic and comforting. The bulgogi shepherd's pie had so much flavor and the mash potatoes really work with it! The mini pineapple was perfect for us to split and the butter mochi. I can't wait to try the guava pie people talk about. I gave the other hand pie to my sister and her husband to enjoy. Looking forward to trying more from this talented duo! They are funny, helpful, compassionate (it was a Celebration of Life luncheon for my mom), professional, personal, expeditious (given 1 week notice) and GREAT cooks! I was still waiting to hear back from other caterers or filling out forms for them when Sweetie and Julie had spoken with me, gone through sample menus, written up a final menu proposal and sent me the quote! The day was beautiful. They were in and out in no time leaving behind a gorgeous spread of food and flowers. Impeccable presentation. Amazing service. Delicious food. Guests raved. This little slice of heaven is new to me, having only seen their socials. With my daughter's birthday coming up, and her loving all things ube, it was a great time to check them out. Their Ube cheesecake was a little on the pricey side, but once I saw it... And then had a slice of it... I understood why. I normally would not spend $50 on a cheesecake, but this was a special occasion and their version did not disappoint. These ladies are obviously very talented. I reached out less than two weeks before my kids' birthday party (because another caterer bailed on me rather suddenly), and Sweetie and Jules were so accommodating and helpful. We decided to cater dinner along with 36 cupcakes and while I ordered too much, I have to tell you, I was NOT upset w/ having leftovers - we happily devoured EVERY last bit of it! The food is really solid and they were able to get organic fruits and swap out ingredients (like using maple syrup as a sweetener) for me. We recently had a luau to celebrate our organization, Sound Foundations NW, building of our 500th tiny home for the homeless. I love supporting small businesses, esp local samoan small business owners. These ladies make some AHH-MAZIING food! Their savory pies are out of this world good! My favorite desserts from them are their delicious buttery flaky pineapple mini pies, ube & tim tam cheesecakes, tim tam brownies & mochis. The packaging of their desserts is neat & cute. The overall presentation of their menu and display of baked goods is amazing. I have yet to try their plate lunches but i am planning too soon because EVERYTHING on their menu is sooooo good!
