I had a meeting with another plastic surgeon in Del mar, California. His estimate was startling and well beyond what I could afford. I then went to see Dr. Lichtenberger and he explained to me that I didn't need to undergo unnecessary procedures to get what I was looking for. Instead, he felt that I could attain a natural look and that's exactly what he did for me at a reasonable cost. The office staff at Life Aesthetic Center, including Erin, Debbie and Dana, made me feel so much at home and so comfortable while undergoing the initial consultation, the preoperative appointment and finally the procedure and follow-up appointments, putting me at ease with lots of great information. Dr. Lichtenberger is one of the most sincere, patient and truly caring people I have ever met. He is an outstanding listener, and I never felt like I was asking a stupid question. Despite my nervousness prior to the procedures, he said that was normal and on the day of my procedures, he put me at ease the entire time. His surgical staff was also top-notch and I am grateful to them as well. We here in Bellingham are extremely fortunate to have Dr. Lichtenberger in our community. I am so happy with my results as I heal more and more every day and can't wait to see my end results in the next few months!

Last year I had a psychologically traumatic facelift by what turned out to be a condescending and dismissive local provider. I had been a patient off and on for years and thought I could trust this person. He had told me that I would be kept comfortable during the procedure but while under "anesthesia" I saw the other side of his personality. I was wide awake and horrified the whole time so I nervously chattered away, trying to make myself believe it wasn't so bad. I won't go into all the horrific details. She explained what she was doing every step of the way, and also spent time discussing the process/answering my questions at the end, since I definitely fell asleep for part of the session. I got some good tips on how to continue a skin care routine at home, and brought a few products home with me that I'm excited to use. It was also my first time doing energy work, and it was fun to talk to Melissa about what that was like, and learn more about this. It was my first time trying this, and i was excited/nervous. I booked my appt online about a month prior and signed up for the cherry payment plan. I showed up and Sheila was very welcoming and answered all my questions. I felt at ease. My service was done and yes, it was uncomfortable but not unbearable. She had a great touch, and i loved the results immediately. The time came to pay and this is where things took a turn. I said i was using the cherry app and her behavior towards me completely changed. She said there was an $800 minimum to use it (my service was $700), but she was like "it's ok, I'll let it slide this time". But it was obviously NOT ok. Nowhere on the website was there a minimum mentioned. I had even called and left a message asking for more info about the cherry app and how i planned to use it and not once did someone mention "hey, you're booked for a $700 service, just fyi that doesn't meet our minimum". I told her i felt like she was actually not ok with this. I told her i did technically have the amount on me and could pay in full, it was just easier for me financially to make a few payments. She said she had everything prepared to use cherry, and so i was like ok...well, I'll just take her word for it i guess. Sheila was shakey and not making eye contact, and when i asked about a few different procedures for possibly trying in the future she was very vague and basically just tossed some pamphlets on my purse. I was whisked out the door and Sheila mentioned in passing that she "essentially paid for my service today". Really?! I looked it up- cherry takes on any financial responsibility and pays the provider within 24 hrs. You got your money, Sheila. Not to mention i payed it off promptly. She had forgotten to take before pictures and prior to this payment fiasco had asked if i could text her some pics of my lips. When i left the appt i did so, and then trying to be nice and smooth anything over i apologized for any miscommunication and thanked her again for letting the transaction through anyways. She left me on seen. That whole interaction left me feeling like trash. Her 5 star reviews are warranted for her talent, but I'm really disappointed in how my service ended. It turned something exciting and pampering into an experience that was weird and confusing.

I've had good and bad spray tans before, never with d-light. I conveyed that I was concerned about turning orange. Heather was so delightful and comforting. I get my spray on. I look crazy. It's purplish gray. Heather said Trust the process. I drove home. I'm streaky, I'm sticky, I'm frustrated, I'm worried. 3 hours later I shower off and I have a very light greyish tan. I was initially a little disappointed it wasn't very warm. I thought "bummer this was not worth the money." I go to sleep on it, wake up....Bronze (for me) goddess!!!!! I don't know if it was the lights I was standing in the night before or if it continued to develop overnight. It's a warm tan but not crazy and not streaky at all. I love it! Trust the process!
