I've been coming here for a little over a year now and I wish I wasn't moving out of the state cause now I have to find a new place to go!My first ever wax was with Laurie and she made me feel so comfortable even though I was so nervous and scared, she is extremely gentle and never makes it feel like a rush job (not that any of the girls do!) Every time I come back to see her she always remembers little details of our talks! Alex is such a nice girl to talk to! She also remembers little details and the conversations with her really take your mind off of what actually happening! She has a really nice way of pulling the wax off and always has the wax at the PERFECT temp! Mallory is such a sweet heart and you can always tell the talks are genuine and sweet! She does a banging job of waxing! Always makes sure no little hair is left behind! I've only been waxed by jesslyn and Bekah a few times but I was never disappoint by them either! First of all, this was my first Brazilian wax and it was literally life-changing. Context: my mom raised me waxing my armpits, arms, and legs at home just like she's been doing all her life. I got one bikini wax before moving to Bellingham and it was bumpy and crooked. It's been about a year since then so I came in with a fresh start, no shaving, etc. Booking: the online booking system was super easy to use, and I really appreciate the text and email confirmation! I was a few minutes late to my appointment but Alex was really understanding and helpful while I filled out the intake form. The experience: the little room was clean and welcoming, and Alex explained what I had to do. Baby wipes are available "if you want" which helped me feel more comfortable. Here's the thing, I've been waxed many times in my life for basically the last ten years, but this was THE BEST wax and waxing experience I've EVER had. Alex explained that the owner has their own wax formula (tea tree oil to help your skin) that adheres to the hair more than it does to your skin. That means NO skin ripping, no losing the top layer of skin, no stinging for hours afterwards. Everything went smoothly and as comfortably as physically possible. I honestly left feeling pretty gleeful. Also, I really appreciate how she held conversation through the service so I had something to focus on!! I went in for an eyebrow wax here like I normally do, I got a different girl than I normally go to but when this happens it's normally still a great experience. Unfortunately I was put with a girl named Emmie and she ended up waxing my eyebrow on my left side really short and took off my eyebrow hair I was trying to grow out and they were completely uneven. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to be rude but I am very unhappy with that visit and I now have to grow back my eyebrow hair on the end and it's going to take a long time to come back. Ah, my first bikini wax -- what can I say, I'm a late bloomer.I selected Screamin' Eve for their name, intuiting that anybody that clever, ironic, cool and sister power-y would be better to hang around with in an awkward situation, than not. I was right. I'm not sure you exactly have to like your bikini waxer, but it helps. Because that part about the screaming? That now makes sense to me. That said, they minimized any discomfort as much as is humanly possible. These women are skilled, competent, efficient, and manage to be tactful while maintaining their sense of humor. I LOVE this place. I'm from the midwest and whenever I visit my friend I make sure to come in here. First time I went a year ago Coral did a Brazilian and it was the first Brazilian I had gotten. She was wonderful. She makes you feel really comfortable and is very friendly. In my opinion, anyone who can make you feel comfortable while they're waxing your cooch and butt are good waxers (and of course technically speaking her skills were awesome). They use hard wax here which reduces the pain. I get awful bumps and burns when I shave and the wax solved all of that. They are very hygienic and use soothing products for the skin post-wax. I have not trusted any studio anywhere else with a full Brazilian, but I would go back to Coral in a heartbeat. Today I went back for a lip and eyebrow and once again got Coral, who once again was wonderful. She knows how to shape brows well and will listen to how you like them. If you haven't tried them yet, I strongly suggest you do! read more

Excellent! I went here to fix the poorly done Brazilian and Underarm wax I got at another salon... I can't express how awesome my experience was. Coral was efficient and friendly and able to fit me in on short notice. My procedure was almost pain-free... definitely more comfortable than the last wax! I had expected more discomfort as the last salon had missed a lot of hair in front and didn't touch the back at all. (A good Brazilian takes EVERYTHING - it doesn't leave your "naughty bits" looking like Steve Carrell's chest in The 40-Year-Old Virgin!) To top off her already excellent service, she billed me at maintenance wax price when I would have totally understood if she billed for first-time waxing (seriously, my wax two weeks ago was bad!)
