Sycamore Trails Aquatic Center is a blast. We came here for a private event and my family…read morethoroughly enjoyed themselves. The surrounding area is peaceful and quiet and well maintained. Not only does the center have a great pool but also 2 water slides, diving board, a splash area, and water rock climbing wall. The different areas of the pool is divided by water ropes and there are lifeguards assigned to each area to ensure the safety of patrons. There are plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas if you want to read or take a cat nap while there. There is a picnic area and also a small playground and sand volleyball if that tickles your fancy. The bathrooms were spotless and had showers and changing areas. Due to the event being private we had catered food but there is a concession stand to buy snacks and food while at the center if need be. This is a great place to bring the whole family for water fun!

I thought the price was good for non-residents. A little high, but I get it. I liked that they didn't care about you bringing food in and had plenty of grass, shaded spots to sit with my kids. My granddaughters really like the "merry-go-round". The equipment is arranged by age group for toddlers up to 12 years old (although I climbed on a few things myself). Everything is clean with a ton of soft surface padding so the kids don't get hurt. There are drinking fountains, nearby restroom facilities and lots of picnic tables. Benches and small pavilions are scattered throughout the play area. The parking lots are huge with plenty of accessible spaces. The splash pad was closed for the season, but looked like fun. There is a paved walking trail that crosses the creek. Pet cleanup stations are available. A pickle ball court with 8 courts is really nice with covered seating area for spectators. A nice stage for concerts is across a large green space. This is a great little community park!

It's located in Franklin, a little town in Johnson…read moreCounty, and not only is the park and playground amazing, but there are lots of little shops and restaurants around the area, so you could literally make a whole day of the visit. It was a hot day, so the splash pad was going and kids were having a great time. The splash pad has water features that come up from the ground, buckets of water that fall down over your head, and lots of benches (with shade!) for people to sit at. The playground is huge! It has multiple structures for kids of all ages, with a separate area for babies and toddlers. This is a great playground for kids who like to climb and parkour, because there is so so so much to play on. My kid was trying to get from one part of the playground to the other without touching the ground, and he was doing monkey bars, climbing on walls, going through rope obstacle courses and lots more. There are multiple slides, swings (with two-person swings where a grown up can swing with their kid) and musical instruments. The whole playground has a rubberized ground for soft landings. One of the best things about the playground at Youngs Creek Park is that there are lots of places with shade! This was especially appreciated because when we visited, it was a super sunny and hot day. There are lots of clean restrooms located near the amphitheater on the other side of the park. A little ways further are the pickle ball courts.

This is a well planned park along the river to host events from craft flea markets, festivals, concerns or just for taking a break from your outdoor active lifestyle activity. Lots of green space to have a picnic, or play with the dog. Huge sidewalks and a kid friendly water fountain for to allow the kids to run wild or just beat the heat. When you arrive you can find parking along the street or a nearby parking deck. It's possible you'll stumble across this park along the bike trail and it's also convenient too the local brewery. A well manicured park with views of the river, access to local businesses, a skip across the street from a brewery, new hotel and apartment.

The large sculpture/water pad was being enjoyed by many small children on a hot summer evening. There's a huge amount of green space, lots of different sculptural art pieces, places to sit, and great views of the river, as well as a pavilion for concerts. This is an amazing addition to any community, and the residents here are blessed to have it.

Decent and well kept club…read more I have only golfed here once and really enjoyed myself. Nice quiet course. Not too difficult but, then again, I am extremely amateur. Well kept green's, fairways and overall a very clean course. I've been there several times to use the driving range and also their putting course. The driving range is set up nicely right near the parking lot. Go inside of the pro shop and grab a jumbo bucket of balls for $10 head back out and hit 'em straight. Once you've worked on your drive, chipshots, wedges, irons and woods, walk over to the putting green courses. There are 2 putting green courses. Each one of them has about 5 holes, or flag's, to shoot at. Good angles, hills and curves. Probably one of the best putting green practice courses I've ever been to. Would I go back? Absolutely! If not for anything else, they have a nice and well kept driving range along with two great putting courses.

People were parking on the grass. I asked Chris about it and she said she should probably have told my granddaughter about it. PROBABLY!!!. Chris said my granddaughter really wanted that day. The was not true. My granddaughter, Cassie, wanted a day in October. They booked a day in October and when Cassie went to tour the facility, Chris told her she gave that day away to someone else. Golfers were walking through the wedding area. Some of the guests went home because they could not find a place to park. Food and beverages were paid for guests that could no even get in the building. As long as Chris is in charge I would not recommend this place to anyone. Maybe if we were members of the golf club we would have been treated better???
