The space is beautifully decorated and spacious. She had a huge monitor on the wall with my picture and Happy Birthday (I'm famous) There are sooooo many scents to choose from. This is the most difficult part, choosing a winning combination. Ebony is very professional, personable and extremely knowledgeable. She adjusted to our overwhelming party filled energy with ease, kept us on task and helped us make great candles. Scheduling was a breeze! She was friendly, but I feel like we had to remind her of the options we paid for. My husband paid for a charcuterie Upgrade and we were almost done with making our candles when we awkwardly asked. When we told her she went and grabbed one large martini glass with a charcuterie that I could've eaten myself, but it was to share. They have an amazing quality of oils and wax. Not your typical - I believe it is made with coconut oil. The place feels very luxurious and I can see amazing things happening.

Upon entering there were candles, candles and more candles. I usually frequent the Bishop Arts location but getting there is challenge due to the construction in the area. Also, since I was in the area doing some other things I decided to stop into this location. While the layout of the two stores is similar, this location is more spacious which allows more for more comfortable shopping experience during the busy periods. Also, because of the larger space, they have more product in the store and ready for purchase. Something to note is that while both locations carry the same items; because of demographics availability of certain items may be more readily available at one location than the other. Thankfully, my two favorite candles were in stock making my trip a success. The staff as this location are very welcoming and friendly. The person I worked with was very helpful in pointing out the candles I went for. Of the my two, I was worried that they didn't have one of them and she pointed to where they were and explained the labeling has changed which is why I walked right past them. Having covered a few of the similarities between the two locations; one area where they differ is parking. This location has a huge parking lot (it is shared with other businesses in the area) has plenty of parking. While I don't mind street parking (and walking), there is something to be said for a parking lot as it adds a level of convenience to the shopping experience. Because this was my first visit (I was unsure of the exact location amongst all the other shops), I ended up parking a distance away from the shop and walking to it. I will probably continue to do that as it allows me to still get the walking experiencing. If you're not into walking there are plenty of spaces right in front of the shop. I have been a huge fan of Society and their awesome candles for a few years. While this was my first visit to this location it will not be the last; I foresee many more visits in the future. I wasn't sure if it was a home decor shop or just candles, as I found out they are also a design company. Turns out this is their second location, the first being in the Bishop Arts District of Dallas. This is just a candle boutique, not a home decor or design store. But the owners are designers and have an office elsewhere, if I understood correctly. I loved the look of the store and the salesperson was friendly and helpful. Their candles are pricy but LOVE all the scents and they make a great gift. Oh and I had to buy one for me too! I asked the salesgirl what scent was the most popular and she said No. 2 so that is what I bought for both me and my sister. She wrapped my sister's in a separate bag with tissue so my gift was ready to go! She also gave us tips on how to burn our candles-first time let them burn for 2-3 hours so they burn evenly and don't "hollow" out. Also cut the wick next time I use. I love my candle, I am burning it now! And my sister loved hers too! Will be back, this store is unique!

The customer service was some of the best I've experienced in quite a while. The store attendant took her time to make sure I saw all the unique items and services they carry. They have an embroidery area in the back of the store for personalized gift. Whether it's a robe, bag, or children's items, they embroider in house. I was breezing through the shop, not having time to sit down and eat, but I'm definitely coming back to try their lunch. The smell was intoxicating. I've had some disappointing (to say the least) surprises at other frame shops so I'm always hesitant to trust them. E.g.- Once someone cut off the deckled edge of a linocut print. Another shop decided that the wooden frame that I picked out needed to be touched up with red "accent" paint. (Neither of these choices were previously discussed with me.) Having artwork framed should be straightforward, easy, and ultimately you need to know that your items will be kept safe and that the integrity of the piece will not be compromised. So when I relocated to Dallas I took a couple of prints in to test the waters and now I fully trust Art & Frame Expo with anything! I've been going here for years. At this point I've taken well over a dozen items in for framing and I've found them to be nothing but professional. I'm always excited to work with them and trust their opinion as well. Customer service is top notch! They do beautiful, high quality work and for those that think it's too expensive, all I can say is- you get what you pay for.
