I booked a class online for bestie and I to partake in over the weekend. Candle making is pretty straight forward, the type of thing I often wonder why Queen of Hobbies hasn't started at home already ;) I also love a great class though! I love learning a craft in a group setting with instruction. We sniffed our way through a variety of beach offerings, each gravitating towards different choices and creating our own special mash up. The jars are all pretty colors, and pouring your wax was really fun. Knowing we created these yummy varietals is what made the entire experience special. I loved the Canva template offerings for custom labels. I picked something very simple and didn't bother really jazzing it up this time around but every part of the experience was a true delight. We have to wait 5 days until we burn them if we want to get the 50 hours of burn time and little miss impatient is counting down. I can't wait to smell my creation. Malibu Apothecary is truly a neighborhood gem that sparks joie! I can't wait to bring my Mom and Sister here. We have a furniture and home decor store and after placing several orders with them over time (which was always a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE) They kept our CC on file and were randomly charging our card throughout the year for amounts less than $500 so that it would easily go unnoticed. They ended up stealing TWO THOUSAND AND FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS from us that we KNOW OF! They acted like they would refund us and then told the CC company that they shipped us merchandise for those charges which was a LIE!!! STAY AWAY - I found other reviews under MORGAN ALLEN DESIGNS (MAD) saying others have been stolen from and SCAMMED AS WELL! They are tech savvy and know how to delete reviews so that they can continue to steal from others!!! Not only this but even when we did place orders...the orders would go missing and Ashley would come up with LIE after LIE about fires in their building and floods and orders getting lost in the mail...and would create fake mailing labels. Their voicemail is always full, they NEVER answer their phone, and they would take weeks to responds to emails. The stories are absolutely endless. NEVER do business with this company!!!!!
