I rented a lift from them and had issues with it almost immediately. The bucket list connection while we had a man in the air. We were troubleshooting on the phone for awhile to no avail. It was no fault of our own, just poorly maintained equipment. I had to pay out 12 man hours while we waited 4 hours for them to come swap it out with a new one, not including the troubleshooting time on the phone. While they were there they repaired the original one and left. There was no mention of a service fee or anything while I called to let them know about the troubles. After finishing the job and returning the equipment, I called to figure out compensation for the wasted time (suggested by the technicians that came out to repair it since we were told it wasn't our fault) and got old that they technically should've charged me a $250 service call fee (for their equipment failure) but will be kind enough to waive it for the troubles. This is what I (a woman) was told. I tried to push the issue further but the manager wouldn't budge. I felt taken advantage of. I relayed my frustrations to my husband (man) about them threatening to charge me for their equipment failure and how I felt taken advantage of by them. He ended up calling and they immediately offered to reimburse $87 for the troubles (doesn't even touch the man hours paid out.) This wasn't even my husband's job. He wasn't involved with this at all, but yet they were willing to work with him on a solution? Against better judgement i reserved the lift again to do the lights take down. I would have gone elsewhere, but was in a pinch and everywhere else was booked out. I went to pick it up and the morning of was told they won't rent it to me because I've had too many issues with them in the past. Once again, wasting man hours after confirming the rental and sending someone an hours drive to pick it up. This has been my first time renting from them personally. I have worked for other companies that have used their rentals with just as many issues, but was in need of a lift so settled for them. Their equipment is poorly maintained. Their customer service is horrible. Their prices are high for the junk they rent. I fumbled around this morning to find another company to rent from and ran into a place with great customer service, fair prices and well maintained equipment.Thank goodness their are still good respectable businesses out there! My experience yesterday left me speechless. Used them many times. Reliability is the number one thing when I need a rental. I wanted to leave a Google review and the first thing that pulled up through location search on maps was the Yelp page. After reading through some of the negative reviews here, I would only come to a conclusion that these negative reviews come from negative people. I have rented from here dozens of times and they have never let me down. Just the opposite. I had many positive suggestions from JC to help me with my project. He spoke with me on the phone and when I arrived. As an experienced tradesman for 25 years this June, it is surprising that there is not more people out there to serve, but grateful when I get the much needed help I do and these guys come through. Literally go ANYWHERE else! Worst customer service in Omaha and this is not a one time issue. Over bills credit card consistently and when confronted, makes up bogus charges that are not on contract, and what charges are on the contract completely contradict what the salesperson says. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! We rented a floor sander from them that had to be brought back three times within about a 24hr period. It took us twice the amount of time to finish the floors because the tool was faulty. Between the switch not working or that the sander had a missing bolt that was critical to its use. We were fed up. After driving 5 trips and spending more time than necessary to finish the job, they gave us a "discount" of only charging us one day. Our company rented a floor scrubber to clean our warehouse floor. The scrubber did not vacuum up the water well at all. It left patches of dirty water. After an hour of trying to work out this "bug"., we decided to returned the item to Honeyman on 84th street. After a complete explanation they still charged us for a half day rental. GRRRR. This place reminds me of a Seinfeld show. The one that was about the car rental place. They are great about taking the reservation just not great at HOLDING the reservation, and as Seinfeld said "HOLDING the reservation is the most important part. We reserved an auger for 1:30 on Saturday. We tore out our fence and went to pick it up at 1:15. Paid for it then pulled around back and they were out of augers. This store save my life. We when to home depot rent a concrete grinder around for $250. For 2 day more than $500. Is not working at all. Somebody told my to honey man rent . I will almost give up. So i try go the .first i walk in they really nice after we tell him what going on the cashier guy told us need to talk to Anthony he is the floor guys he told is go to use the right grinder. Is work we on pay 270$ for one day take it all off. Lucky me get change talk to Anthony . And the services is all some. After we get machine we said we can carry to the truck. But the guys said is my job i can go it. He walk us all the way out to parking lot and put in the truck for us make sure everything's before he left you are awesome . I Come in at noon on a Saturday and they are closed at 5 and are closed Sunday. I wanted a day rental and they wanted to charge me a 2 day rental. Talked to, what I think was a manager and said he would charge me a day and a half rental if I came back at 4 pm. I said no thanks and bought a brand new unit on Amazon for only half more than the weekend rental. Dirty place and poor bussiness practice. read more

There should be a rating less than one star. Rented power washer drive across town. Hose had hole in it. Drive back , they didn't care but switched hose. Drive back across town . Hose attachment was cross threaded. Drove back. Screw it went to Home Depot. Look at this place. Filthy, weeds no care or pride in maintaining the facility and carries over into the maintenance of equipment. They could fire half the staff standing around and pay more money to people who help grow business. It is easy to find.. it is the biggest eyesore on 84th Street. Rented a floor cleaning machine. I was told on the phone 50$ a day. When I got there it was 90$ a day. Then when I got a chance to use the machine . It didn't work like it was supposed to. This machine would have saved me hours cleaning a polished concrete floor. Instead the machine didn't pick the water off the floor like it should. Also leaked all over. When I took the equipment back. They did nothing about it. The main boss went over the intercom and said " would the customer with the truck and trailer move before they move it with a forklift. By this time I was so pissed. They people there attitude suck and still charged me full price For a machine I couldn't even use. read more
