I'm still a bit mixed on the Honeyrose. It's clearly a very nice hotel; the rooms are really very nice, the staff is friendly, and the amenities are solid. But I'm not sure I actually like the style. They lean super hard into their theme. Pink is everywhere, there's a strong signature scent pumped through the lobby, and the whole place feels like it was designed for a photo shoot more than a comfortable stay. It's nice, but just a bit too much across the board. It's definitely a sexy hotel, great for bringing a spouse or significant other. But you'll want to be at a stage in your relationship where you're comfortable using the bathroom with the other person in the room - because there's almost no privacy. Glass walls and open layouts look cool, but they don't leave much to the imagination. If you love bold, highly styled spaces and don't mind a little flash over function, this could be perfect. I'll pass on returning but I won't say it isn't beautiful.

February long weekend getaway. Very comfortable mattresses, supportive and medium firm. Being particular about my sleep, the bed satisfied that part. My only gripe is that the bathroom didn't actually have a door separator which I don't love - it had a curtain. So if you're sharing the room with anyone, there isn't much privacy when you're in the bathroom as even the toilet door doesn't reach all the way up to the ceiling. The sauna in the pool area was nice and actually got hot. The restaurant was also nice - very stylish. Gym was ok, had an Olympic rack which is uncommon for most hotel gyms, however, there is no mirror directly in front of the rack. The location was decent and very close to the underground shopping area and food court.

The honey rose is an absolute gem! The hotel is stunning and the staff is great. The location is central for walk g and right next to the train. I will definitely stay at the honeyrose again.

Service is excellent, and the hotel is stunning. Hubby and I only spent only one night here, on our way to Tremblant, I really wish we could have stayed a 2nd and enjoyed the amenities. Our room was mid century modern with a very comfortable sitting area and pillows to rest against. The bathroom was large, and the shower had the rain head, and I loved that it didn't run out of hot water. Honeyrose is a new boutique hotel. The staff was so friendly and welcoming and I have to say, that if you are traveling and want to explore the local area, stay here at least one night, or dine at the restaurants. It's so worth it. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Look for those reviews. Well, I am updating- I can't seem to find the Muze Lounge where we had dinner, it's located on the 5th floor. I had the Passion Cod and hubby had the Mushroom Ravioli as entrees for appetizer we had the Plateau De Charcuterie Board and dessert I had the Pavlova and he had the chocolate cake. See the photos all of it wa absolutely wonderful, service was 10 stars and food I'd give 20 stars if I could.

This hotel is beautiful! It really is. The rooms are very aesthetically pleasing but there were a few things I have to cover in this review. I had a corner view with a king size bed on the 9th floor. The floor to ceiling windows are spectacular and it was so beautiful to watch the snowfall from the bed. There was nothing crazy that caused me to dock a star off the rating of this hotel but rather a collection of small things. Here is why I will not give this stay a 5* review: 1. The lamps in the rooms are beautiful and some of them have USB ports for you to charge your phone but none of them worked. The wall outlet near the bed also was not working. I am a heavy sleeper and I was scared to miss my alarm. There are many outlets on the baseboard of the floor to ceiling windows. I did not test them to see if they work but if you needed outlets, you can find them there. 2. The TV and tablet were not working. I am not sure what the tablet was for but a repair man came and moved a few cables that I wasn't able to get to and they were able to get the TV to work. They took the tablet from the room. They were very diligent to get the TV fixed. 3. The pool is open until 11:00 PM which is great but there was a mom and 2 kids there which were overly loud. The boys were throwing themselves in the pool and rough housing each other. A few employees came in and checked on things but no one said anything to them. The mom was also not taking into consideration that people were there to relax and didn't say much to her kids. I think maybe the last 2 hours of the pool time should be reserved for adults only. 4. The water in the jacuzzi was a bit murky. Granted it was a Sunday night so I am sure that a lot of people used the facilities during the weekend. It was a very cold weekend so many people were probably looking for a way to relax and warm up but it just wasnt looking as clean as it should be. The staff working at the reception desk were very nice and other than these items above I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. I would definitely stay there again and recommend the hotel to others. Unfortunately I did not have enough time to eat at The Commodore but hope to eat there on a future trip.

HONEYROSE hotel is a Marriott property that was recently built. Whomever decorated this hotel did an amazing job! The hotel staff (to name a few (sorry for the incorrect spellings): Lucas, Pedro, Alex, Gilbert, and Mark-Andre) were amazing and the room was spacious! I will say I could hear noise in the hallway, but once the other guests were in their room, I could not hear anything. The pool, sauna, and jacuzzi were great to use on our second to last day there when it was snowing a lot. The only thing that was a bummer was the jacuzzi jets were broken during our stay. Definitely will be staying at this hotel in the future!

This was the hotel of my DREAMS! I almost wish I didn't stay here because now no other hotel will be the same. Even when I pulled up the staff was incredible right away! The only thing that was confusing is where to turn bc there's currently construction right outside of the building. The staff came outside, directed us, grabbed a luggage cart, and loaded it AND unloaded it in our room while we parked the car.The parking is onsite but $34 Canadian dollars a day. You can come and go as you please. Once inside the hotel even smelled amazing! The room was beautiful with amazing views of the city. And then there's the pool and hot tub. I got in everyday of my stay. The restaurants on site were really good too. I had some of the best French onion soup of my life at the commodore restaurant. I'm ready to come back to Montréal just to stay here again. One thing is for sure, this is the only place I will ever stay when in town. Great job Honeyrose!!

If I only knew this existed before I book the Fairmont, there would've been no chance I would've booked the Fairmont. This is amazing. I can't believe what they've done here. Can't wait to come back so I can stay in this hotel wish I would've spent my last seven days here I love Marriott!! Honey run Rose home run!!

Absolutely beautiful Gatsby style hotel. So much special attention to detail. Atmosphere is lovely. The service is amazing too! They were an even able to get a reservation at a restaurant we were unable to get. The rooms are immaculate and gorgeous. The parking is very tight and not made for large vehicles. Very satisfied with our decision to stay! You will not be disappointed

One of the best hotels I've been to in Montreal! Super clean and posh :) Very close to restaurants and bars. Definitely coming back soon!

We had an amazing time at this hotel! We couldn't have asked for a better stay. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous.

Grown and sexy! MUZE terrace is a restaurant and bar lounge on the 5th floor of the Honeyrose hotel. A must for an evening cocktail or romantic dinner.

Checking in was very easy and they even said they were expecting me, which was very refreshing after the last hotel I stayed in for business, which was the Hilton in Richmond, VA at Short Pump in which the staff was very condescending and poor at checking people in, especially business travelers. This place definitely took great care at check in to make sure I felt welcomed, including asking me if I had any questions. She went over everything I needed to know about the property. When I got to the room I was impressed with the size of it - it was pretty large, with lots of open space, a decent desk, plenty of seating, and a very nice, clean, and comfortable bed which was fitted with ironed sheets! The TV in the room was disproportionately small and their streaming channel options were limited, but I made the best of it, as it's mostly background noise while I'm working anyway. The location is decent, only a couple of blocks from the Rue Sainte-Catherine shopping and dining area, which also has the Complexe Desjardins (a mall). There's a Metro station a block away as well. They have a decent size gym with all the normal stuff and a pretty nice, two-level lounge for those with access via their loyalty level. Overall, I'm enjoying the stay here and would return!

One standout was the gym, which is much better than what you typically find in hotels, with multiple treadmills, a stair stepper, ellipticals, and a solid selection of weights. They also have a two lane indoor pool and an indoor hot tub, which were nice added amenities. I especially appreciated that my room had a patio, it was great being able to get some fresh air. The only downside was the noise. There were very loud neighbours in the hallway with screaming and music playing until around 11:30 pm. I contacted the front desk and was told security would be sent up, but no one came and the noise continued past midnight. Overall, a solid hotel with great amenities, but the lack of follow through on the noise issue was disappointing.

You can take the 747 bus directly from the airport to this hotel, but it's t will take around 40 ish mins or so. If you decide to rent a car, parking is at this hotel $30 CAD a day to keep your car parked. When purchasing your metro tickets from the airport, there is a machine that you will purchase it from. Just get the non-rechargeable ticket for 24 hours for $11 CAD. It will NOT take American Credit Cards or American money. It has to be a Canadian Credit Card or HAVE Canadian cash. I can say that this hotel is conveniently located on the edge of Quartier Des Spectacles, just a couple of blocks from The Gay Village & about 3 blocks from Chinatown. It's a walking distance between both and areas. It's only two or three blocks from the Orange Line, Yellow Line, and Green Line of the metro. The rooms are kind of small, but great if all you're doing is just sleeping there. There is so to do in the area. Downfalls are: there is no coin laundry. However, there is a plastic bag in your closet that you can put your dirty laundry in. Take it downstairs to the front desk and pay them $20 CAD for them to do your laundry. Your cloths will be ready the next day in the afternoon and folded for you. You will have to pick a your laundry from the front desk. Your bedroom will ONLY be cleaned EVERY OTHER DAY. So, don't expect them to clean your room everyday. If you need extra towels, you will have to call down to the front desk or just pick them up from the front desk. Breakfast is NOT included as part of your stay like it is in the United States or America, unless you choose that options or pay extra when booking. Another downfall is that, at the time I was here, they only had two fans. One was broken and the other, someone else had. We stayed here for 6 nights and every night we kept asking for a fan, which of course they did NOT have. They kept trying to fix the A/C, but what we really needed was air circulation. Most hotels have or keep extra fans for their guests. Just note that if you need a fan for air circulation and comfort, you may not get one. So just take cold showers. There is no microwave or coffee maker in your room. There is however a small refrigerator there. They have a good coffee maker downstairs, tea, water foundation, microwave, and dinning area you can eat at. The front desk will have plastic utensils if you ask them for some. There is a gym, extra restrooms, vending machines, and ice on the "M" floor. The staff are ALL really nice! They had great customer service and had no problems with them. Their customer service alone was a five star. And again, this hotel is very conveniently located.

Let's start with cleanliness. The room is outdated, beat up, and was bordering on filthy. See the attached pics featuring the desk chair. I happened to be in a street facing room so there is the occasional bit of noise, but that wasn't a problem. Then there's the temperature. In one of the hottest weeks Montréal has seen so far this summer, my air conditioning unit was practically non-functional. The temperature in my room regularly topped out at 26 degrees. The young man at the front desk was happy to come reset the unit (I want to add here that the lobby air conditioning also seemed to be non-functional, horrible for the staff) and it briefly cooled down to a to a tolerable 22. Same song and dance the next day, where I had to go buy a fan from Best Buy in an attempt to get more than a few hours of decent sleep. No one ever followed up with me to see if things were improved, so I had to approach the front desk again. The same nice young gentleman came to my room, fiddled with the display for the AC for a few minutes, and I had a blissful night at 21.5 degrees. One night. I'm currently on night 6 (thank god, the last one) of my stay and it's 26 degrees. Never was I offered a different room, I had to ask (and none were available), never did they try to get a repairman into the room, nothing. It's made my stay here horrible. The hotel is located in a dodgy part of Rue Saint-Catherine. Red lights district with a visible unhoused population, and as a solo female traveler I experienced some harassment coming to and leaving from the hotel. I wouldn't feel safe being out after dark here. During the day it's relatively convenient to metro lines and a reasonable walk from local attractions. For a chain, I expect better. The staff was nice enough but there are no standards. Guests bang around at all hours of the night and you can feel vibrations through the walls. The AC panel blazes a bright blue light into the room all night, making it impossible to sleep unless you're knocked out or wear an eye mask. The hotel itself is worn and dingy. I didn't even try the breakfast for fear of wasting a vacation day on the toilet. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
