Serving staff and kitchen were awful, zero manners. Spilled water from pitcher on table, me and floor and walked off. Kitchen staff bringing food out had apparently never heard of "excuse me" practically knocking people over. Went on a Monday night at 7:30 pm. The cost is $17 and soda is included. They also have soft serve ice cream. There were many items, but several of them were not replenished after the tray was empty during the 45 minutes we were there! The sushi rolls were sparse but there were some. The fresh fish sushi was non-existent. Why are we paying full price for a buffet that is not serving all the items it normally serves? Since I only taste items to see if I like them before going back, I was greatly disappointed because when I like a couple dishes and went back to get an actual serving, hey were not replenished. I am guessing this is because it was toward the end of the night. But at 8 pm when they close at 9:15 that is unacceptable. The best thing I ate was the made-to-order Mongolian BBQ. The food was very greasy and not cooked well I had the honk Kong beef it was beef with bell pepper and onion super greasy and fatty and uneatable and than had chicken on a stick chicken was way greasy and undercooked I had a sprite with my two things took three bites of the beef and two bites of the chicken and than become very icky and than had the shits all day long and felt nauseous I never complain much about food and stuff but they need a visit from the health dept and it is 20 bucks a person too pricy as well do not go here to eat you will be sick read more

I am being generous with giving 4 stars, but I'll tell my reasons why.The ambiance is decent, and parking is adequate.It wasn't too busy on a Sunday evening. There were a decent amount of options, more than other buffets I've been to into small towns, but less than you'd find in a city or a more densely populated area like California. The food options weren't bad, and the food was better than expected, but you'll still likely have a 3 star experience as far as food goes. The woman who seated us gave us sprite instead of lemonade like we asked for, but we didn't feel like correcting this.The staff was very friendly to my children though, and one even held my toddler's hand and gave all of my children lollipops! They did ask my children their ages, so the prices for children probably vary(I didn't ask). They provide high chairs, and they charge $1 per piece of sushi thag they have to throw(if you didn't eat it but put it on your plate). If you're from middle America or the Midwest, this food is up your alley, but if you're from California or New York, this will not be up to par with your expectations.I've been to many Chinese buffets, and yes, some were really good, more options, better quality, but of course those were packed and expensive. If I could give it zero stars, I would. The food was low quality, and it lacked flavor. The staff was attentive and kind, but that isn't enough to bring me back. Some of the dishes had a congealed dried out look as though it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. The chicken skewer had splintered, and I was pulling pieces of wood skewer out of my mouth. Turning the only delightful part of my meal into a deadly choking hazzard. Thank God my kids didn't get that piece. My oldest, however, did spend half the evening sitting on the toilet, and she only had a single plate of food. DO NOT EAT HERE. My experience at this restaurant was a average trip to a Asian buffet. They had everything a buffet is supposed have such as fresh food, friendly service, and "ok" prices. The buffet was downright delicious, all the food was fresh and was replaced immediately after it was there for a couple of minutes. They had assortments of food, such as American food for those who weren't that adventurous, but still had piles of Asian food for those who were. The service was acceptable, they refilled the drinks without us asking. They took care of the plates and made the day better by taking care of needs we did not know we needed. Our waitress was in charge of the entire back lot so we saw her a lot, and that helped with our drink refills. Now, the prices were really crappy, our seven and 10 year old were served adult prices. I've never seen a place charge that for a seven year old, and that's why I took a star off. read more

Ihave never had food that looks good but when you taste it it taste like it has been cooked for a month I don't recamend it

I've eaten here many, many times, but the price has went up and the quality way down. The crab ragoons were my favorite, but now they are not made with cream cheese and the substitution is yuck! Also the fried shrimp is 80% batter only 20% shrimp, way more batter than in the past. The price has increased, they charged a mandatory tip of which they charge tax on. Is that even legal? I got to this place at about 8:50 on a Sunday, they were already tearing down the buffet and Mongolian BBQ, which pisses me off because if your hours say you close at 9:30, STAY OPEN UNTIL 9:30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't have a lot of options when it comes to parking a big rig, so I was kinda stuck with what they had left. I did manage to get the Mongolian BBQ chef to cook me a plate back in the kitchen, so I did at least get some dinner. Folks, it's real simple: stay open until your posted closing time. Don't start dismantling everything and running the vacuum next to my table while I'm eating, because I don't want dust all over my food. I know I'm taking my chances getting to a buffet when it's close to closing time, but these guys were REALLY pushing the envelope. I peeked into the kitchen tonight, it was FILTHY! There was a small toddler back there too. After repeated requests several times from multiple families to add a baby changer in the restrooms, it still goes unheeded. Where is the baby in the kitchen being changed, I wonder? It's $150 for a baby changer online. I gave them $40 bucks tonight alone to eat their subpar food. They can afford to cater to the families who go there. Great service. If you haven't had Chinese food in the Midwest, know that it sucks. It's manufactured solely to appeal to your average overweight middle American. On the spectrum of couldn't eat this - to that's on par with a mid grade little china shop in the Bay Area. This place is pretty high up. They're using fresh ingredients, toned down the MSG, and have a good variety. Dumplings were passable, egg rolls were actually hand made and quite acceptable. I would eat here again. read more

My husband has eaten here once with me and my family during one of our visits to Salina. If I could rate it just in terms of effort and being nice people, then it'd get a 4. But I'm rating based on taste. Usually there have been good crowds when I've eaten here. My folks seems to like it. The buffet is extensive, and when the seafood is out, that could be a good deal. Though, some of the more spicier food are not marked and I found that out the hard way. They should put signs up for spicy food. The interior decor is intricately designed and quite gorgeous. Best Asian buffet I've been to in a long time. Wide variety of quality dishes; the General Tso's chicken and their noodles were incredible. I have a thing for trying the Asian buffets in every town I stay in, and I'd probably say that this one is my favorite. I did not dine in, but it appeared to be much cleaner than most buffet restaurants. The food looked so incredible that I loaded up a to-go box with 3.6 lbs of food for my hotel room lol.
