We came here for an early dinner our first night in Perth. A bunch of people had to be somewhere, so we though this would be quick and easy. And it was.
Unfortunately, it was far from perfect. We ordered some crispy duck pancakes to start and four mains: dry chili chicken, shredded chili beef, some sort of Thai special combo thing and something else that wasn't very memorable.
So first off, the prices. They are around £10 for a main. More if you want fried rice or noodles. And for £10 I was expecting massive mains. They were quite tiny to be honest. And they weren't that great. The chicken and beef were the best, but I've had better versions of both of them.
The crispy duck was nice, but seemed a bit small. Turns out it was a quarter chicken when we ordered a half chicken (at least that's what they charged us for). We also ordered a couple of fried haggis from the chippy next door. The haggis were actually quite delicious, so that's a plus
So it's a mixed bag. I'd probably skip the restaurant and just head next door for the takeaway. read more
