The event happened a year ago however I mention it now after I have bought a home in Ashland (from another agency) and have calmed down enough to describe the incident. Anyway, I found a nice home and contacted online the listing agent (from Scott) for a disclosure statement. This was via an online website which I won't name. Never heard from the listing agent, and therefore got my own agent and told them I'd like the disclosure statement. Then, the Scott agent calls me back and wants to work with me. I called my agent and told them I just heard from Scott and they wanted me, but I am sticking with you now, and requested she contact the Scott agent and request the disclosure statement. Fast forward days and the Scott agent saying they were "trying to get it"...but never responded until AFTER the house was in contract. Here is the reason the Scott agent never got back to my agent...because Scott got BOTH sides of the deal because the house was shown via an online website. I later found out they represented the seller and buyer! Why split a commission when you don't have to...utter BS. Bottom, go elsewhere to a firm that has reputable agents (assuming there are in the real estate industry. I had a great and honest agent.
