A few weeks ago my upstairs A/C was being examined at the start of its semi-annual checkup. The associate notified me that the air handler in the attic was dropping its insulation from within, and this would create a problem with continuing the standard semi-annual checkup. This necessitated scheduling an associate on a different day to basically rebuild the air handler. Understandably this was a long project through the day but was completed to our satisfaction. QUALITY: The different associates whom we have seen over a long period of time have been exceptionally professional and courteous. VALUE: Everyone decides what they describe as value. For us it's the confidence that our A/C units will work through the summer and winter year after year. Having a service agreement gives us that peace of mind. SUMMARY: These people have demonstrated exceptional courtesy (every phone call is a new pleasant greeting, every time). One has to have trust in the service people with whom they do business. Jesse looked at the AC unit and immediately knew what was wrong. he had the part on his truck and immediately began installing it. he worked very diligently to get the part installed and get my AC running smoothly. I was extremely pleased with not only his technical expertise, but also his professionalism, his diligence , and his pleasant demeanor. To make matters worse, he mentioned that if I decided to postpone the repair until the next day, the cost would somehow decrease to around $800. This seemed highly suspicious, especially considering the fact that the part was still under warranty and I would have only been responsible for covering the labor charges. Thankfully, I trusted my instincts and declined his offer. As it turns out, the actual cost of the repair turned out to be a mere $225. The significant difference between the initial quote and the actual cost was truly shocking and disheartening. It was clear evidence of the company's dishonesty and attempt to take advantage of customers like myself. Overall, I am deeply disappointed with Jorge's lack of transparency and integrity. It is incredibly important for businesses to be honest and ethical in their operations, and regrettably, this company failed to uphold those values. Update: The response from Jorge regarding my review makes matters worse. He denies ever going to my property and misrepresents the circumstances (there was no other AC company that worked on this job - Jorge was the 1st one to come out). Jorge lacks integrity and is extremely dishonest. See pictures attached for proof that he was at my property. Stay way from this company. Just be honest Jorge and don't rip people off. After one and a half hours, I called back to let them know I did not need their service. My neighbor was able to help me the following morning. I get a text at 10:30 PM Saturday evening, saying my technician had arrived. I was not home and I quickly texted back saying I had canceled the service call. I had a contract with them to check on my system every six months. Well, they never checked anything of importance since the Freon was extremely low, and there was a buildup of bacterial gunk that was never cleaned out. I have canceled my contract with them and want to warn other customers to make sure they do their job since they did not do that for me.
