A few weeks ago my upstairs A/C was being examined at the start of its semi-annual checkup. The associate notified me that the air handler in the attic was dropping its insulation from within, and this would create a problem with continuing the standard semi-annual checkup. This necessitated scheduling an associate on a different day to basically rebuild the air handler. Understandably this was a long project through the day but was completed to our satisfaction. QUALITY: The different associates whom we have seen over a long period of time have been exceptionally professional and courteous. VALUE: Everyone decides what they describe as value. For us it's the confidence that our A/C units will work through the summer and winter year after year. Having a service agreement gives us that peace of mind. SUMMARY: These people have demonstrated exceptional courtesy (every phone call is a new pleasant greeting, every time). One has to have trust in the service people with whom they do business. Had them add new ductwork and returns in house . Installers hurried one air return doesn't really work. Left a vent cover off and put one vent in so bad I have to adjust it to fix drywall. Hurried so much tech came back next morning unannounced to get tools he left in attic at 7 in the morning. Did a good job selling me and feel like they were annoyed they had to be here. For the money I paid doesn't seem like they would care about fixing it and just be annoyed they had to come back. read more

My AC wasn't working yesterday so I called Certified and they said they would send a tech as soon as someone was available. I was so pleased that Jesse arrived at my home about an hour after I made my call. this was the hottest day we've had so far and it was a Sunday. The response time was excellent! Jesse looked at the AC unit and immediately knew what was wrong. he had the part on his truck and immediately began installing it. he worked very diligently to get the part installed and get my AC running smoothly. I was extremely pleased with not only his technical expertise, but also his professionalism, his diligence , and his pleasant demeanor. They have gone down hill on customer service. Waited 3 months for an appointment for qtrly maintenance and they no showed. Then when I called they couldn't come for 3 weeks! Wait what? I initially requested service, and the team promptly came out to diagnose the issue with my A/C. I received a quote and, while I don't normally prepay for services, I felt comfortable doing so this time thanks to their prompt response and professionalism. Prepaying wasn't the issue--I just typically avoid it as a personal preference. I was informed that the necessary parts were on backorder and that I'd be contacted once they arrived. After about a week, the parts finally came in and they quickly got me on the schedule. The team showed up on time and even finished the work ahead of schedule. Before the storm! So when when you think of your AC unit, you normally think of the unit outside. What I learned recently is that there is a motor also inside your AC handler. So that went out on us and this group came in and offered us options and we went with the middle price unit as we are selling the house, otherwise I would have gotten the top of the line model. My wife's aunt also had an AC problem and I gave her their number and withing an hour and 1/2 they had her feeling cool. Good service, VERY responsive and they check your entire system. High recommend to use for reliability!! read more

Had an issue that was way more complicated than initially suspected. I had to have them come back 2 more times after initial drain line cleaning. The 2 other times were free of charge for any procedures they did because it did not work the first time and they came back quickly. Jacob Lewis was especially a bright spot because he spent 2 hours ensuring it was ACTUALLY fixed the last time. Identified a solution that has been working ever since. Excellent response every time! I am in Naples, FL. They are in Fort Myers. I have a reasonable, peace of mind, annual maintenance agreement (2 visits per year). I have used this company about 5 times now. Very satisfied with their high quality technicians and their response time. Today, Sean immediately diagnosed the problem explained it to me in detail had the part on the truck , and fixed the problem. I would consider them very straightforward and very competent. No I now do not recommend them ,I needed an issue fixed I new what the issue was and the part that needed replacing prior to the service tech's arrival ($75 part from amazon and 1/2 hour of my time to fix) and I was told the same part was covered but nearly $450 labor (I called a friend in the ac business and he stated he charges about $400 for that service with the part not under warranty $100 service call $100 part $200 labor),now I understand charging for an hour of labor even if it takes 30 min but $450 is way out of line ,I would have paid $200 without question. I do NOT recommend this companies warranty practices choose another company that will honor its warranty service and not charge full price read more

Beware! Do NOT enter into a Seasonal Blue Ribbon Maintenance Contract. I was told each of our 3 system would take about 45 minutes to complete the 64 point inspection, so I scheduled and blocked out our entire a.m. morning. They arrived and the tech told us it would take him 7-8 hours. Unfortunately, we had necessary doctors appointments schedule in the afternoon. They said they would reschedule! I called to reschedule and now I'm told for 3 systems they are six months out and they don't have a full day available. I asked if we could break it up and schedule each system separently, I was told NO, they all had to be schedule together. I explained that I paid for every 6 months, but now you are telling me I won't be receiving that service for a complete year. So I paid for a one year contract $$$ for every 6 months (that means two times a year). They are rude and want to blame and penalize the client for not having enough time the day they arrived and now want us to wait another 6 months before they can perform the 64 point inspection (entire year). Why would we need to wait another six months and not get the service that we paid for? We asked for a refund and they said they don't refund that it is written in their contract. I looked at my contract and it isn't in there! The best we can do is warn you the consumer not to enter in their Seasonal Blue Ribbon Maintenance Program. read more

I don't usually do reviews , but.... Based on reviews. I had scheduled a biannual service for the AC in our newly purchased condo. The AC Unit was less than 2 years old, and stopped working 3 weeks before the scheduled service. I called their office and they had Tony out in less than 24 hours. They advised when he was on his way, provided a photo and a brief listing of his background, as well as a tracker that allowed us to track his location. He went through the system, identified and corrected the problem (clogged drain) and kept us informed along each step.he was efficient and professional. SO Weird!! Read reviews and read website and to my disbelief, I was told that this company doesn't service my area which is 1/2 hour away!!! I had a group of 5-10 families who just moved into Babcock Ranch and we all wanted to use a reputable A/C company for maintenance. I spoke to Amanda, who said she was the mgr. I asked to speak to owner and was told he is on vacation for months. What is going on??? To turn away business in a new community that is listed as an area that they cover is insane and just doesn't make sense. I asked for the owner to call me back and that wasn't possible! When I asked if they cover Naples, Florida, I was told yes!! I said how can that be, it's further than we are. Amanda said we have a tech who lives there. Any which way, so disappointed. I wanted to share my positive experience with Certified. Last January another company serviced our Trane and advised that a leak was present. We loaded up with Freon that got us to October. This time they were suggesting replacement, not sure why. We consulted with Certified and Dennis immediately responded to our call. He inspected the unit the next morning and gave us a much better understanding of the units lifespan and any issues. We decided to again load up on freon and monitor the system for leaks moving forward. The pricing was extremely reasonable and moving forward I will likely use Certified moving forward. Just before Thanksgiving this year our system went down, I called Certified who sent a Technician that day. The prognosis was a bad coil. Certified were able to determine that the coil was under warranty! A savings of $800. The work was completed two days after the holiday. Thank you to Michael Joseph and the whole crew. read more
