We are property investors and we we're looking for a rental in the city for ourselves for 12months + whilst we build and found this company very illusive & difficult to contact?? Pity as so many places are listed with them.. Wonder if their clients know how hard it is for 'prospective tenants' or investors such as ourselves to get through to them!!

Wow, when we first dealt with Aldinga Home Improvements, I thought I'd be giving them one star …read more.. but they really turned their service around and now I'm giving them 4! We received a quote for a lot of fencing and a carport - it took 6 weeks for the quote to come in, and we were pretty annoyed (especially since we had to keep chasing and chasing them!). After getting other expensive quotes, we grudgingly decided we still wanted to use them (it was quite a difference!). After seeing the manager Simon (who was excellent), we realised that the sales rep we had was the issue (saying quotes hadn't come in when they had, not making proper notes of measurements, etc.) - and that she was no longer working there. After that, the service was excellent! We ended up having the fencing done first, and everything was coordinated efficiently and quickly. The subcontractors doing the retaining wall were awesome as well! They always turned up when they said they would, and finished the work ahead of time. All in all, we ended up being very impressed, and will definitely get them back to do the carport - what a turnaround!!

When we first contacted him about the property we eventually ended up renting, he was so friendly right from the beginning. He spent a long time showing us through the house and talking to us about what we were looking for. He was quick to contact the landlord about us as possible tenants and even went as far as to tell her that we were perfect and to 'chuck all other applications in the bin' (legend). Since then he gave us the keys promptly, and helped us maintenance wise when we had a little bathroom situation which required some handymen. It seems like not a very big business but sometimes the smaller ones offer the best service.

As someone who knows nothing about…read moreair-conditioning it was nice for them to take the time to explain to me the way things work, differences between brands etc. From memory I think they said they had over 30 years in air-conditioning... you can't buy that kind of experience! They also answered any questions I had in a simple and easy way to understand. They were on-time and it wasn't a problem to go in and pick up my quote. They were also very happy to provide a report for me to give to my insurance company.

We built and took ownership of our new home last October. We received excellent support and service in selecting our blinds, curtains and security doors. Two thirds of the curtains and blinds were made and installed within a month and the quality is excellent. The curtains look stunning. Our builder had promised to finish our doors and rear windows within a couple of months of handover and sadly nearly one year on we are still trying to get them to finish the job. We are hopeful it will be finished in the next couple of weeks. In the meanwhile we have vision blinds ready and waiting to be installed and we have had to put a hold on our security doors too because of the problems. BBB have patiently stored our blinds and waited to finish the job we paid for. They have regularly followed up with us about progress too. All staff from the customer support team to the measurers and installers have been super friendly and helpful too. At this point we can't fault BBB and would thoroughly recommend them to all. They're not the cheapest around but not the dearest either. The quality of their products and customer service totally justifies the expense. Thanks BBB for a great job so far. We hope to get the last bits done shortly.

Initially we went with BBB as they were a well know brand in Adelaide. Order was placed in early…read moreFeb. Measure done. Check measure done. (I am not sure what was check measured as I checked the diagram when it came time for installation and it was clearly wrong.) 7 weeks later, time for the installation and the problems begin. Take a Friday arvo off work - "The installer will be there at 2pm," we were told. We call at 3.45pm and were told, "he will be 15 minutes." The installer arrived at 6.40pm. We are having a 4 panel verticle drape installed in the living room. The panels were the wrong size by over 100mm. The installer advised that he would need to take them back in the morning to have them resized. We call at 11.00am the next morning and no one knows anything about this. I was advised, "Normally we would not call you, we would judt try to fix it." I requested a call on Monday - No Call. We call back on Tuesday and advised the service girl will call us straigh back - No Call. We call on Thursday and were told they will check and call us back - No Call. We get a call on friday to say the installer will be back Saturday. He comes back and puts the panels in. He Opens the packet for the Pelmet - No Tracks. The installers advises he will get and drop back one day the following week to put in. Wednesday, we call again - "He will be there thursday after work" - No Show - No Call. Friday - I call and are advised that she will check into it. She Promises a call back in 15-20 minutes - No Call. Monday - We SMS the installer and he says he will come that night. To confirm, I call the office and ask to speak to the manager. After being on hold for 5 minutes, I am told the manager is away and the office manager can call me back. I decline saying no one has called back yet, I wish to speak to her now. After a great deal of attitude, I am transferred. I relay the above story. A call is promised back where an appology for lack of communication is offered with annoyance over the fact we have contacted the installer ourselves. So apparently, tonight is the big night where this whole ordeal may finally be over. I recommend you find a different company if service is something you value.
