I now live in Colorado and have tried out one local farm where they raise…read moregrass-fed beef, but it was a bit leaner and therefore a bit tougher than the fabulous Creswick meat I was used to! Great, timely delivery (I picked up in Brighton) and the orders were always 100% correct. Why buy beef from cows who live in miserable conditions and injected with all sorts of hormones and antibiotics to stop diseases from spreading since they so overcrowded when you can buy in bulk from Creswick? They're not organic (highly regulated) but are Certified Naturally Grown and the meat is quite yummy! Though they're very busy on delivery days, they always took time to chat a bit (if you're up for it) so you don't feel like just a number. Well worth the effort to wait in line in the AAA parking lot in Brighton! I highly recommend Creswick!

I may have gotten fancy with my coffee, but my breakfast was a standard veggie omelette with mushrooms, tomatoes and onions (nixed the peppers) with sourdough bread on the side. Hubby and I shared the billion dollar bacon which was unfreakin' unbelievable. Espresso rubbed thick bacon with maple syrup for dipping. It's an ood thing there were only two pieces because I would've eaten more than one piece.
