On the bar side of the restaurant, there are actually many more tables toward the back which were mostly vacant during the majority of my visit. I decided to order the steak frites which they say is a Denver cut. Denver steaks are from the well-used shoulder area and typically have great marbling and a deep beef flavor. The dish comes with their truffle fries and bearnaise sauce. It's a simple dish and not their priciest cut, but it's the most affordable way to get one of their steaks without being presented on a sandwich or priced in the 68-275 range as their other steaks. Steak frites - the steak was tender and very tasty. It actually was much better without the room temp bearnaise sauce. Not sure why they have that on the plate since it ruins a steak imo. The steak itself was also luke warm and not hot from the broiler. The fresh cut shoestring fries were warm but not quite as hot as I was expecting. Luckily, the garlic aioli helped. This restaurant is a great place for many occasions but can also be a good place for someone dining solo looking for upscale food.
