In this photo my cup is empty. I uploaded this photo because it's this exact way for 40 minutes with no refill.

When arrived at the restaurant there was an hour wait which really wasn't an issue because it was a last-minute appearance. when I first walked in, instantly It is very loud and somewhat humid. When we were seated, we were offered our drinks instantly but got no refills for 40 minutes straight, not only did we not get refills for 40 minutes straight, but our food took an hour to get to the table after reminding the waitress. when the food arrived, the food was no longer hot. The $30 ribeye plate that I ordered had good mashed potatoes, good vegetables, but the steak was not seasoned nor was it a good cut nothing but fat. I asked for medium rare and got medium Instead. The steak had so much fat that it was hard to chew and digest. The customer service was very terrible for the amount of servers that were present. The room was really cramped and small, we were seated at a small table and asked to move just to fit our items on the table. The place in general is very loud and cramped overall would not recommend coming here if you are ready to eat because you will be very disappointed with the wait time and the quality of the food, in my opinion the price is not worth the food nor the headache.

This place is great! The food was delicious. We ordered 2 tostadas and some grilled shrimp. Amazing! Would come back for sure.

The ambience was welcoming, service was kind and the food was delicious! Definitely would recommend this new spot in Midland.

Quesobirria tacos

The BEST quesobirria tacos and Baja shrimp tacos we've had anywhere in west Texas!! And the specialty homemade sauces like the habanero pineapple is amazing! Staff was so friendly and all of them stopped by and checked up with us! Definitely recommend!

New spot. Spot on.

There are not many choices in Midland/Odessa for nice dining especially when looking for a place to…read moretake a customer or work colleagues. I am very happy that I found Saint Blaise as they hit all three of my marks for restaurants that I take customers to. Food: The food was great. I wanted to get the steak and potatoes but it was $50+ which I thought was a bit steep for just steak and potatoes. I opted for the blackened salmon which was cooked perfectly with delicious broccoli and mashed potatoes on the side that were also cooked perfectly. The gnocchi had a perfect consistency with a non-overwhelming sauce so also phenomenally done. The two drinks I got: Same Place and Maple Manhattan were well-made with each component complementing each other well and not overpowering one another. If you like tequila and manhattans I think you will be happy. Service: The servers were very attentive and made sure we were taken care of the entire visit especially with the waters. Huge kudos! Ambiance: I will say because the inside space is a bit tight and small, having conversation when the restaurant was busy proved a bit difficult but if that is the case they do have seating right outside in the lobby area and having conversations there should not be an issue. I will make sure to be back with customers here!

She had a friendly attitude and made great recommendations on what we should order. Everything was delicious! The meatball appetizer was delicious! The Saint Blaise chowder was wonderful and the bread pudding was divine. Overall a great experience and we can't wait to go back to try the brunch menu!

For a favored experience check out this amazing restaurant. The Ambiance is comfortably decorated,…read more affording hearty eaters plenty of room to sit in booths comfortably. The GM Gabrielle was our most gracious server. I chose to have orange juice that was perfect in flavor. The 3 Tacos and some heavenly flan cake shared with my 2 friends at the table. The taco meat was very flavorful and tender with cheese grilled on to tortilla. The flan dessert had a hint of coffee bean and a cheese cake texture and flavor. A 10 in my pallet. We were really looking forward to trying this restaurant, but unfortunately we left disappointed…read more We waited over an hour for our food and never received it. It also wasn't very busy, which made the wait even more confusing. I completely understand that delays can happen, and our waitress was incredibly kind throughout the whole experience. She wasn't the issue at all, and I truly felt bad because she was doing her best. After waiting over an hour, I went to find the manager and politely asked if it would be okay to just cancel our order. Instead of apologizing for the wait, he responded, "Okay... I don't know where you're sitting, so I don't know what you're even talking about." After I told him where we were sitting, he simply said, "Okay, it's taken care of," and waved us off. There was no apology or acknowledgment that we had just waited over an hour without ever getting our food. I understand that mistakes happen, but customer service is what makes the difference. A simple apology or even just showing a little empathy would have completely changed how we left feeling. Instead, we walked out feeling like we were an inconvenience. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I hope this is something management takes seriously because the waitress deserved much better than the way the situation was handled.

I have visited Buffalo Nickel a few times while visiting Midland for work and enjoyed my visit…read moreevery time. It has a nice easy-going, small-town Texas feel to it which is hard to describe unless you've lived in a town like this like I have. The inside is typically nice and chill; an ideal environment to grab a cocktail or two and conversate with a date, coworker, group of friends, whatever. Out of all the bars I have been to in Midland, I think Buffalo Nickel has the best selection of whiskey especially. I am not a huge whiskey aficionado but I have heard from ones that this is the place to go. I am more of a tequila and beer guy and they have everything I want. The unique thing about this bar is that the back patio is smoke-friendly. I am guilty of wanting some nicotine after some drinks so this is a great place for me. They also sell cigars if that is your thing. Cheers!

They have a nice selection to grab a couple to smoke on the back patio or to take with you for later. Hubby really enjoy the Crazy Alice, said it was one of the best cigars he's ever had! We sat at the bar and our bartender was very sweet and attentive. Explained the cocktails a bit for us and gave suggestions. The Pumpkin Spiced White Russian caught my eye online so I went with that and hubby had an Old Fashioned. Drinks were spot on so when the bartender said they had a great Espresso Martini I said but of course! It was absolutely delicious!! We highly recommend Buffalo Nickel for a small gathering or date night cocktails.

This is my favorite restaurant in this part of Tx. Mai sure to make a reservation if you show up…read morewith more than two people. The crispy rock shrimp should be illegal. Way too addictive. This part of Texas has no business having sushi that good either. Used to always get the wagyu ribeye, then th Akaushi, then I tried the lamb chops and got stuck on those. They've got a desert that I can never remember the name of that looks kind of like a cheesecake. It's phenomenal. Wait staff is always terrific. Easy to spend over $1,000 here, but also not hard to leave for less than $100/person and have everyone waddling out with a loose button. Fantastic restaurant.

I visited here one night since it was relatively close to my hotel. I didn't initially realize it…read morewas a restaurant owned by Graham Ellliot, who is coincidentally 1 day younger than me. The menu consists of raw plates, apps, salads, sandwiches, land and sea plates, and steaks. Half of the front of their menu is devoted to sushi rolls, containing elevated items like lobster and waygu steak. On the rear of the menu, their side dishes didn't really impress me as there are many starches and only 2 green veggies. This restaurant is still very classy in several ways, or at least they make a valiant attempt. One example, when ordering sushi rolls, they bring out a nice metal chopstick holder. However, the chopsticks themselves are just the cheap wooden ones in a paper packaging. I decided to sit at the bar since the dining area looked busy; however, the bar area was also just as busy. On the bar side of the restaurant, there are actually many more tables toward the back which were mostly vacant during the majority of my visit. I decided to order the steak frites which they say is a Denver cut. Denver steaks are from the well-used shoulder area and typically have great marbling and a deep beef flavor. The dish comes with their truffle fries and bearnaise sauce. It's a simple dish and not their priciest cut, but it's the most affordable way to get one of their steaks without being presented on a sandwich or priced in the 68-275 range as their other steaks. Steak frites - the steak was tender and very tasty. It actually was much better without the room temp bearnaise sauce. Not sure why they have that on the plate since it ruins a steak imo. The steak itself was also luke warm and not hot from the broiler. The fresh cut shoestring fries were warm but not quite as hot as I was expecting. Luckily, the garlic aioli helped. This restaurant is a great place for many occasions but can also be a good place for someone dining solo looking for upscale food.
