I'm not even embarrassed to say I ate at a Hooters in Cancún. We were in the Hotel Zone bar area anyway, so it only seemed fitting. We sat at the bar, like we always do. Service was very good. We had 2 bartenders, and they were both super attentive. The food was really good. They had quite a few sauces that I've never seen at any of the Hooters I've ever eaten at in the US. I was craving veggies, and an American chain restaurant seemed like a good place to get them in Mexico. My dish, the Cowboy chicken, was great. It came with steamed veggies (just ok. They were probably frozen), grilled corn on the cob (really good) and an incredibly juicy, moist chicken breast topped with American & Swiss cheese, bbq sauce & bacon. Yum! read more

Went here like two weeks ago to watch football and it didn't disappoint, only my team did. I was surprised to see that some of the waitresses were on roller blades. Vanessa was helpful and great, and so was my burger. Obviously, it's not the American atmosphere for football, but it worked out since I was there for it. read more

So I'm not a huge fan of hooters overall, but after a week in Mexico, this was a nice place to go to get familiar food... I gave it the 5th star because this hooters blows any hooters in the US away. I haven't gone to hooters for the girls since I was 21, so I didn't come here for that reason. However, my lord...... the eye candy is amazing. The ladies are absolutely helpful, and gorgeous..... The boneless wings had good flavor but could use a lil more sauce on them. The ranch tasted more like blue cheese asked my waitress if it was ranch and she ain't even stop to look,The fries were good ,coke was flat. My service from my server Vane was the reason for the two star rating. Vane provided us very poor service came to my table a total of three times and one was to bring me the bill she was very dry with us not helpful what so ever felt as if we were a bother to even ask a question. Typical hooters location, right in the middle of the hotel zone. If you are a fan of their breaded wings, it's like any other spot. Love their Buffalo sauce and mozz sticks. Definitely a good spot if you are missing some traditional American bar food. read more

By day 4 of our Cancun trip, we were so tired of tacos and tortas that we just wanted something different altogether. I'm not proud to say that I came here partly out of curiosity and partly out of exasperation (I couldn't force feed myself another tortilla if my life depended on it). And how does this Mexican-touristy location compare to its American brethren? It's the same shit you'd find in the States. It really is. The only noticeable difference was that the domestic beer selections (in bottles and on draft) were Corona, Tecate, Dos Equis, Modelo, and Victoria instead of Bud/Miller/Coors. Service was average, but when I ordered the boneless wings platter in their 2nd hottest sauce, our waitress had the foresight to ask "are you SURE you want that one?" "Si, senorita." "I'll bring you a water, just in case....." That was nice of her, but unnecessary, as Hooter's wings aren't really that hot to begin with. I was somewhat disappointed in the mildness of what was touted as a 'muy muy picante' wing sauce. A brief note on value: they had a promo running that, when ordering a 6-pack of beer, you'd get a boneless wings platter (10 nuggets + curly fries) for free. Sounds like a good deal, right? Wrong. Scenario 1: the wings and fries were indeed free, and you paid 'only' for the beer--this amounts to $6/bottle for a total of USD $36. Scenario 2: you paid for the wings platter ($12 USD) AND the beer ($4/bottle) for a total of again, USD $36. Any way you slice it, a wings meal and 6 beers is not worth almost 40 bucks American. On the other hand, I slammed the fuck out of those Victoria bottles and got fairly hammered by the time the check came. Sometimes I impress even myself when it comes to chugging beers...... 3 stars for (lame) value and lack of variety from nearly any other USA-based Hooters. read more

This was my first time at Hooter's and might be my last. I ordered New England Clam Chowder and Chicken Quesadillas. The Quesadillas were ok, not the best I've had, but not the worst either. The Clam Chowder was cold, watery and the clams were like chewing rubber. I had to spit them out because they wouldn't break down. As for the service, it was decent until we sat there eating with empty cups. By the time the waitress refilled our drinks, we were done eating. Then it took her 25 minutes to bring our check. We decided to eat here to get a break from Mexican food. We both ordered the unlimited wings and fries for $199 (Mexican Pesos) which was a great deal in my opinion. Honestly, the wings were much better than in the US. Our waitress Bethany was great. She stayed on top of things and kept us refilled across the board without having to wait for anything. You also have the option of playing either Jenga or Dominoes while you wait which was cool. If you read my last review and are now reading this one, you must think I am out of my mind - I'm completely with you in that thinking! I mean, why do I visit Mexico and go to a place like Hooters? For the wings, duh! Well, we actually ended up at Hooters because Cancun isn't crawling with local joints like Cabo or Puerto Vallarta, rather it is inundated with the best (worst) that America has to offer... in Mexico. Comprendo? The sad part about this whole Hooters visit is that it was packed. We were all hungry tourists looking for a bit of normalcy I suppose, but the strange thing is that I barely ever go to Hooters even when I am at home. The wings were on par with their USA counterparts (average at absolute best) and the waitresses were sassy and rude. In their defense, dealing with sunburned and inconsiderate vacationers is sure to take a toll on your sanity, but hey, this seems to be the most lucrative gig in town. read more

I actually really like hooters. Their food is shareable, they give you cold beer and the service is good. Believe it or not, we walked a good 3.5-4 miles in the hot humid sun from our hotel and finally decided to take a bus to the mini vegas strip. Feeling hungry and tired, we walked around a bit trying to figure out where to eat. Many of the restaurants on the strip are from the states especially the chain type ones so we couldn't really get away from them. Since my fiends and I are big fans of their deep fried pickles, we decided on hooters. We also ordered loaded tater tots, 2 flavors of chicken wings and of course the deep fried pickles and washed it down with some dark modela beer. Can't go wrong with that spread read more

It's like every other hooters I've been too and that's a good thing! The restaurant is always good and on this night (Thursday) happened to be all you can eat wings night! The staff were professional, friendly and surprisingly quick considering that it was the beginning of spring break season. Hooters is Hooters. Same as the US if you love it. I only eat the spicy garlic fried shrimp there. My girlfriend had never tried it or Hooters. So I had to take here because the opportunity was there, It was good per usual. The shrimp did have a significant amount of breading on them compared to what I'm use too. We ordered three of their four signature margaritas. They were buy 2 get one free. They were all below average and not worth wasting calories on. Service was ok. read more

Extremely poor and slow service!!! As busy as it may have been, there should be no excuse for their lack of attentiveness (feels as if this was done purposely given the fact that today was "all you can eat wings") I come from Hollywood where it's the heart of a fast paced and busy lifestyle, and even then the service there compared to this one felt immaculate (very sad). One would figure that in a place filled by 90% tourists, the customer service would exceed or at least meet expectations.
