The music was a great mix and the decor is awesome. Even in the bathroom! If you're an 80s/90s baby, you'll feel right at home. The service was spectacular. Yes. Absolutely. For sure. The Michiana area used to be my old stomping grounds and my family came back for vacation to visit family and friends. Hop Station was a highly recommended place to stop at so we met some friends here. The drink choices are a solid win. We had a few of the ciders and beers but I was hung up on the Key Lime Pie fruit beer. They had pizzas that were fan-freaking-tastic! We tried the Galaxy, the El Dorado, and the Pineapple Belongs on Pizza. All three of them were so good!!! The staff was incredibly helpful and fast getting the food out and we LOVED the layout of the bar and the choice in the music. Definitely one of my top places to check out in the South Bend/Mishawaka area and beyond. read more

I'd give them a zero star, but that's not an option. Poor service, and to top it off they had my car towed. Parked in their lot, ran in to Oliva's to give my wife her wallet, then went over to Hop's. Took my parents here for our first time and it did not disappoint! The ambience is good ole tables and chairs with a pinball and skeeball machine with some electronic dart boards. The small corner stage has a giant tv for sports and plenty of table and board games to take back to your table to play! The amount of beers of makes and styles is plenty and they have the best whiskey selection I have ever seen, seriously! We ended up getting the Gucci Gang tacos and pretzel bites to share and they were both soooo good! We did get the cupped pepperoni pizza WHICH did not disappoint t and the Apollo pizza! The house made red sauce is delicious too! We will be back again for sure!!! Updating based on exemplary customer service! We visited on a super busy Friday evening and my food order hadn't come out after everyone at the table who had ordered after me received theirs. I'm not one to complain, so when one of the owners came over we just asked him to check on the food and he said it had gotten lost in the system and would be right out. He was apologetic and asked if he could get me anything on the house and even offered to take it off my tab, which I declined since I did receive my food and it was great! When I went to close my tab, he wouldn't let me pay for the food and thanked us for coming in. If you get the chance to talk to the staff for a bit, Hop Station really has a friends and family vibe and I can't say enough good things about the place! We've been coming to Hop Station for some time now and they never disappoint. The two guys that own it and their dad, are some of the coolest and most humble owners we've ever met. Thr selection of beers is simply fantastic and it seems like they know personally about most of them, so making a selection is really easy. They also have a great little kitchen with some great pizzas and apps. What can I say... Hop Station is easily the best bar I've ever been to. They have an awesome atmosphere, endless drink choices and amazing food! They also have lots of games to play. (Pool, darts, basketball, arcades, as well as SNES mini systems and board games!) Drinks? They have an endless amount of different beers to choose from! I'm not at all a beer guy, so rarely does the beer interest me. However, every now and again they'll get something unique that I actually enjoy. I do love my liquor though, which they have plenty of! First, the drinks: There is a HUGE menu of beers and wines. You can pretty much get anything your heart desires. It's a bit overwhelming for those who aren't knowledgeable on craft and IPA's (like me) but the bartenders are great at helping you find what you want and will give samples as well. Second, the food is really good. A little on the pricey side but for what it is and that it's good food, it's not bad. There are arcade games, and they host trivia on Mondays. I am not sure on everything they host but I have been to trivia night and it's a lot of fun. It's a fun place to check out. read more

This place has a great selection of craft draft beer from various breweries (apx 30 taps). They also have a full bar and cocktail menu. I was disappointed to find a very limited food menu not to mention you had to place your order at the bar as there was no table service. That said, you had to wait in line to place an order or to even get a beer and that was not fun. At least the staff was friendly. We chose to split a nacho libre and ghost tacos. Both were very good and had an artful flair to them. This was definitely a bar atmosphere and they had several different arcade type games to play. The worst part of this whole experience was the music. Not only was it loud but they played speed metal the whole time and it was pretty obnoxious. We were in town visiting family and saw this place had 5 stars, so we had to check it out. We now know why they have 5 stars. The selection of beers is one of the best I have seen (they also have a ton of NA beers as well)!The food was great. They were slammed for hours and we still had amazing service. Man... really wanted this place to be a go to after having a good first experience earlier this year. Tonight, I got a cluster pizza and mozz sticks for pickup. The mozz sticks were not melted and honestly just unappetizing. The cluster pizza crust had a rubbery texture and not much flavor coming from the ingredients, only thing saving this was the nacho cheese to dip in unfortunately. We've heard good things so we stopped in on a recent afternoon. I can only voucher for the great selection of craft beers (32 on tap and an extensive bottle/can list). The place was pretty quiet with the exception of the loud heavy metal music... probably not as noticeable when there are more people there. Bar and table seating along with a nice selection of video games, skee ball, pool table and darts. I think they have a food menu, but we were never offered one so we'll have to check that out another time. read more
